Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored another beautiful day after a couple of chilly ones. Love these country roads - our type of caching. Thanks for the hide LNCU
Seeing as I found two caches at a previous location I moved one to this location. Hope CO is ok with this
And that's a wrap. 40 Winks done (except for #16 which is probably ash, and not there anymore). Thanks for an enjoyable series
Will need to come back with gloves and whipper snipper. Very overgrown with thick high grass. Cache probably here. I did find the 2 holes in the ground and covered one over with its metal plate. Be careful.
One of three remaining caches in the 40 Winks series. I’m not sure why I would have left three behind - probably ran out of battery.
This was the first. A quick and easy find. The sound of the corellas in the adjacent vineyard was impressive.
Thanks for the cache and the series equipe de cinq.

I decided to go out for the day around Aldinga, Whites Valley and Sellicks Hill for caches before sir_spectre's Gemmel Tassie Reserve CITO at McLaren Vale.
It also ended up with a spur of the moment trip to Victor Harbor to check on some of my caches since I had already come this far.
It was good to finally get at least part of this series done as it was the first series I noticed when I signed up for Geocaching, 3 and a half years ago...
A quick find here. Watch your step as there's some holes in the ground which could easily roll an ankle. Which is covered by long grass.
Cache is all good.
Thanks equipe de cinq for this cache and series, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3311 on the 29th of July 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

I had managed to negotiate a morning of caching on a rare day off. The plan was to see how much I could get to before the forecast rain arrived. I decided to travel between this series of caches on two wheels rather than four, and it was nice to get some exercise in.
Cache was found easily enough here but wow, that was one soggy log. This one needs some TLC. TFTC equipe de cinq

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another very chilly, wet day. Just perfect for geocaching. A quick driveby, all good here TFTS.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs & wine. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Out for an afternoon of caching. Really enjoyed working through the forty winks series here! Most were quick finds with the help of the hints. Tftc!
Out with the rest of Tri-Cache team today cycling along the 40 Winks power trail. We still have the '0' to go and the upper part of the '4' so plenty for another trip. A pleasant day with a good handful of finds and lots of fun. TFTC equipe de cinq. Thanks for going to the effort of hiding the caches that make up this brilliant power trail. The log was just a soggy pulp for this one so I popped a new one in.
Couldn't log because log is in need of urgent attention due to being wet and mouldy. Sorry no repair kit on us today. TFTC
Doing this series with ilook4geo today with a good find rate. The only ones we did not bother with were a few which required walking along a track where the grass was very long and could have been hiding who knows what. All the others were nice quick and easy finds and both names were soon stamped somewhere on each log. Thank you to equipe de cinq for placing this series of caches.
The log here is very mushy and needs to be replaced.

Enjoyed the caching along with goingplaces2 today. We had a mostly successful time, retrieved each container, signed the log and replaced all as found. TFTC.
Found with eastern olaves
Don’t forget your shoes
Nice quick find
Log a bit damp

Chasing numbers for a serious milestone so today set my sights on a series I've long wanted to do but never got around to, the 40 Winks series. Found 37 and replaced 4 which were almost certainly missing.
Thanks to equipe de cinq for putting out this cache for me to find

Love it when my Tuesday walking group follows a geo-trail.. Arrived 2hrs earlier to clock a few to my tally. Thanks equipe de cinq
In Port Elliot today, out to tackle the 40 Winks series. All caches found in good order, took nothing and left nothing. Thanks to equipe de cinq for the run. TFTC
Spending a few days in Wallunga as part of our trip to SA after borders were opened up to NSW and QLD. Today was the day to find the 40 Winks and a few extra caches near by. Many thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches and enhancing our enjoyment of caching.
Out and about geocaching today, while staying in Willunga from Brisbane. Decided to cache art, '40'. Due to the number of caches in this series I am doing a generic cache. Thoroughly enjoyed doing these caches, even those ones that had to be walked. TFTC equipe de cinq
Looked thoroughly for this one yesterday and today. No luck. Grass recently mowed. Don’t know if that has any thing to do with it or not. Thanks anyway. Haven’t been able to find 2 caches on the number 4.
Bushes have been removed from this place so may have been taken away with them
