This is a very nice and serene, Murray side spot
Possibly because it is in the middle of towne and therefore doesn't suffer from the endless parade of noisy dirt bike muggles, noisy campers with generators, and drunken parties happening
Just a grouping of four empty plastic chairs present in the hot afternoon sun.
No doubt waiting for the locals to come over at sunset to enjoy some quiet 'sundowners'
Cache found safe 'n' sound in its hidey hole

A sneaky placement here meant that this one took a while.
Really was a peaceful place and would have liked to sit on one of the plastic chairs here and enjoy the view and the sun. But there were too many caches on today's list.
Thanks for sharing this spot with the geocaching world.

TFTC a beautiful day for caching, & a nice easy one with a great view of the mighty Murray
Ahhhh. The serenity alright. We sat here in the serenity and ate our lunch. We watched others in their serenity enjoy the river, on boats, by their caravans, in some sort of floatable device, in a chair in the river, serenity all around. Thanks for keeping us serene.
Took some looking
Oh what a lovely river
Fancy a cod or yabbie for lunch

Yes it was a very pleasant place to visit today with no other traffic and only the sound of water flowing past.
Thanks akelamandy for bringing us here.

Found it on a dreary day. Although had a coffee to keep me motivated! Good find along the Murray
[:(!] On arrival at me geosons house to spend part of the weekend with his geowife and three geograndchildren, after tea and seeing the geograndchilden of to bed, the two of us went out and did a bit of night caching and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.
I like it

Found during couple weeks adventure from Tom Groggin beginning to Murray Mouth end of the Murray River, 2/4/14. Now a bit of sightseeing on our way home to Sydney, with this our final crossing of the Murray river, and great old bridge. TFTC

Found at 11:25AM on the 17/3 by Maya and Gaye with Ray and Des. Easy find. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache. The Nomads.
Neat hide and wonderful scenery Thanks for giving me an excuse to stop and enjoy it TFTC akelamandy
It's a delightful short ramble along a bank of the Murray River to the site of this well hidden cache. Earlier, with young Max navigating with the GPSr we'd nabbed a cache in NSW and this was our first back in 'home territory' on our Saturday arvo plod in Barham and Koondrook. At GZ my geo-brain went AWOL and I made the old mistake of blindly following the GPSr which I had 'wrenched' from Max, who with a geo-wisdom beyond his years was politely pointing to where the cache was eventually located. I stumbled about looking for the cache hide and at one stage nearly went for a 'swim' in the mighty Murray. Well, the cache was where the coordinates indicated and where Max with much mirth was indicating. I may have heard Max blithely utter, 'Silly old plodder, blind as well as slow and a caching dill.' I needed a 'stiff drink' but not of water from the Murray after my 'caper' at this caching site. Of course, we both had a hoot of a time in a fine location. Thank you to 'akelamandy' for the cache and its sublime location.

I have brought my 91 yo mum up to the Barham Stampede and had permission to cache for the afternoon. It didn't take me long to do the 3 that were left in the area unfound but boy is there a lot of caching potential here.
My grandparents lived over the road and up a bit from here and there was often the hunt for the mighty murray cod at this spot. Would love to see a larger container with swaps but thanks for bringing me here Akelamandy. TFTC

This was our 7th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 13:58
So this now makes our total find count 6392.
[blue]
Yes the place is quite peaceful. This spot is reaally crying out for a large cache.
After finding over 6392 caches, it is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While some nanos have their place, eclipse tins and 200ml Sistemas seem to be the norm these days, especially where a larger container could have been placed. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks akelamandy for the hunt today.

We were up for the weekend Indoor bowls tournament with our Muggle friends Val and Alan. The weather was fantastic and the cache took us longer than it should have, but with four sets of eyes we got there in the end.
Thanks akelmandy for bringing us to this pleasant spot to sample the serenity.

A nice day for a walk along the river, dodging the puddles from the overnight rain.
The search was on with the help of a Staffordshire terrier pup that came across the road to say hello!
He sniffed around the area of GZ and we found the dead fish before the dog did!
We found the cache too!
The dog gave up and went back to their owner who was washing the family sedan.
That is why it rained!!

Making a round trip to clear a few caches nearby that haven't been able to get too for ages. As previous finders have found, our GPS was about 10 metres out.

Took me a little while to find what should have been and easy find. Just not on my game today. However I did get there in the end. TFTC
A long weekend's caching around Cohuna with Bettyboo3747.
We had an extra day after the event to roam around. This was the first for the morning.
Didn't see any High Tension Power Lines so I don't know how you can say the bit about the serenity
We did see a couple of the fish you mentioned just below GZ though!
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2996. Robmc and I heard about this one last night from micaparamedic at the Cohuna Matata Event . I was in Koondrook at 3.15pm yesterday too, about the same time as him. Robmc and I called by this one as the first cache of the day today and added our names as joint 2TF after a bit of a search. The GPS was reading 8 metres out here so the clue helped. TFTC
Surprised to be the FTF on this cache knowing there are other teams in the area this weekend. Didn't have this in the GPSr so used the smart phone, found using caching knowledge as the smart phone coordinates where about 7 metres out. Many thanks akelamandy for this cache. The serenity was pleasant this afternoon.
