The spider seems to have been scared off permanently, and taken the cache with it. Too many muggles know about him, it seems. Sorry guys.
HMMMM ive lost count of how many times ive been back here. Went back today with TreMichLan who has previously found it and still no luck...wondering if its missing ?
For such a plainly named cache, this is certainly a very good one. It took me a few minutes searching before I worked out what was going on here.
I didn't like the sand flies here I got lots of bites!!!! YUK! but i liked the hide!
rejigging hte cache to make it a little easier to open. Should be back in a couple of days.
A quick easy find of a fun cache, although our granddaughters couldn’t be encouraged to retrieve it. TFTC
[green] Back in place at last. The old hide has been destroyed, cannot hide the cache there. The new cache is less than 100mm from the old location. Enjoy!
Many thanks for parking instructions and the map near Mangaone 2 road entrance helped us get there. spent well over a half hour but no luck where have we gone wrong
Heh heh this one reminded me of caching in Australia. Thanks for the helpful parking suggestion and this fun cache Seagnoid.
Good hide. My son wouldnt put his hand there incase a spider was there.funny
The cache almost made me jump as it was not what or where I expected it to be. TFTC
With the cache well back in it's hidey hole this cache took a little longer to find than expected! I was very glad no muggles interrupted my search though. I was sorry I didn't bring a rubbish bag as this place sorely needs a bit of CITO.

Found tonight, after a short, & yes we admit it - a reluctant search, just praying no muggle came around the corner as we must have looked pretty dodgy hanging around there with our torches! Took some nimble fingers to open the lid too. TFTC Seagnoid.
After getting the word from the CO that the cache was indeed still in place. I went back in for round two. After a quick search I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.
I'm a little surprised that SpudPN could not find this cache - should be easy for anyone with a bit of experience. Which means its been muggled. [:(!] Drat [:(!]. So I shoot over there with a replacement container (I usually let the first muggle go through - often it is not repeated). Hey! the cache is still there! And, surprise, surprise, so is the spider! I'd thought that after us cachers have been gallumpfing all over his territory it would have left. I guess that means thanks to all you guys for caching softly.
Sorry, Spud. You will have to have another go sometime.

Endmosteye44 and i have a wee competition to see who can find caches first when we are in an area, he was glad i found it first and is still laughing at my leaping abilities... thanks... for the cache
A good 10min search yielded no cache.... or spiders. Will try again some other time.
For someone who is scared of big spiders, this cache almost made me wet my pants in fright! TFTC
This one took me way longer than it should have. Snuck op on by a muggle, so had to explain myself - she was giving me some funny looks, but help me look for a while. Found it after she carried on, and got a bloody good surprise out of it. TFTC
Didn't find it cause there was no way I was going to tangled with a spider, will be back with someone braver!
Found it, though almost got scared off by the spider! Cool hiding place and nice there's a spider to guard it TFTC
Easy find, but I was not putting my hand in there first - yes I am wossie about spiders!
Kids enjoyed it TFTC

Quick find with junior cacher 1 while in the area. Friendly arachnid popped out to greet us when retrieving cache. TFTC.
Easy find...as the container was sitting out on the footpath. Seems all intact, so placed it back to where it looked like it belonged...even saw the spider, bigger than i thought it would be [shudder].
Encountered the spider, but it wasn't threatening, so quietly left it. Was a bit concerned about the cache - not sure if it had been put back into the right place because there was really nowhere to wedge/secure it - hope it doesn't fall out again. Certainly liked the cache - gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Found on the way to a boardgame evening hosted by the Seagnoid.
The spider didn't bite me, but the dry prickly foliage and the mossies definitely did

Clever theme for the cache and an amusing discovery as the cache container rather suddenly appeared from its hiding hole - good fun, TFTC.
Third to find.. I'm a little scared of spiders ..uggh.. so the talk of spiders made me a little wary!
thanks.
thanks.
2TF at 5:32pm. A fantastic container and fairly easy find. Didn't realist there were any steps here until we arrived. Thanks.
I wasn't going to go for the FTF on this one. But my 17 month old daughter was trying to climb into the car. So since she obviously wanted to go, the two of us headed off for a drive.
A quick find.
Nice container. We saw the big spider too, but it didn't seem to worry my daughter.
Thanks.
