Apologies for the delay. Found log out on the open grass late last year, but no cache. CO may need to check this one.
Had a look for this one sometime ago when I first started caching. Found the log in the open, but couldn't find any cache that would come with it. Had sent message to CO, but have now discovered that sometimes messages don't get through and that we need to do a Needs Maintenance Log. Sorry for the delay. I did go past this morning for another look, just in case, but couldn't find it.
A full day's caching starting in the Pinnacle Nature Reserve followed by at Strathnairn, around West Belconnen Pond, then as many other West Belconnen caches I could grab on my way home. 39 finds and several DNFs. This was one of the DNFs.
Needs maintanance. Log found in plastic bag on grass without a container.
Both dty73 and myself looked but can not find anything resembling a container but grass growing up so could be hidden.

Spotted this early on and dismissed it until I reread the clue. Makes sense. Thanls.
Found with The Matetrix. Growing up not so far away I remember when this place first opened. Wow, some time ago now. Now my son has his own Mongoose. We will be back soon. TNLNSL TFTC
Love this spot! My kids have lots of memories rac8ng hete. I replaced the log and dried out the bag but needs a new bag and paper soon.
Greetings from WA. An early morning stroll around the Florey area to explore and find a few local caches. This held some significance for me as I was heavily involved in BMX in Albany for 10 years. Sadly the Albany track has just been bulldozed as the club has not operated for about 10 years. This track is a great layout and a credit to those who maintain it. Nice camo cache, log is wet and could not be signed.
Found with Darzee Di and ACTchil while out on a caching wander. I lived in Melba for a couple of years back in the late 80s but have never been down here near the creek before. I spotted the cache container and wasn't sure about it all - CO would have had a good laugh at me if he had been there... Thanks again mr_roo - picked up another one of your caches
Went out with KittyKatch and ACTchil this warm afternoon to do the A Creek Side stroll mutli and grab yur trad and multi on the way. I really did like this one . tftc Mr Roo
Great spotting by Dark Passion Play after GPS landed him right on it. I was too slow. TFTC
What a cool location and a bit of fun. We were lucky indeed, walk straight to it. Cheering. TFTC
After a very long day at work it was time to grab the daily.
I decided to drop by this one on the way home. I was hoping for a quick grab as it was dark and late but it didn't turn out that way! lol
I searched and search up, down, along, under and over. It wasn't until I went round and round a couple of times for a chicken scratch I then made the well concealed hide-phew!! Glad to have the find on that one-I was very tired and hungry and eager to get home! [|)][xx(][|)]
Thanks for the hide, mr_roo

Found this one too with Angel a couple of weeks ago. It was a nice area to walk geohound. Cache found reasonably quickly - it was too slow for me! Thanks mr roo!
As it was lovely and cool, Bobl27, geohound and I decided to grab a couple of nearby caches as I attempt to clear my 5km radius for a challenge cache. This one was a walk through some long grass from a nearby cache. Cache was quickly found by Bobl27 - yep, not in the race! Thanks for the cache
Back to work and back to daily afterwork caches. At least it's daylight savings now . We took the hard way in, ending up wading through wet, muddy, long grass. Doh... At GZ it took a bit of a hunt but eventually we found this slowpoke. Then took a much better, drier, quicker way out. Thanks Mr Roo
I actually found this cache about 7 months ago, but I don't think I had a pen or forgot to log it, oops!
I was surprised too see that it wasn't a smiley on my map, but thought I better go find it again just incase. I went to where it was and it wasnt there! Thats strange. But then I found it in a differentt spot, and the cache container has changed since I last found it :O
I have now witnessed both creative containers so have to give this a favourite Thanks for both trips here, it was certainly worth it

Found 7:54 pm with x_mscake. Well I had been out here once before and spent like 45mins looking for this cache. After PAF and being absolutely sure of what I was looking for and the last place it was potentially seen there was still no sign of it. So I left it to another day to see what may show up or I meanwhile caught up with Mr Roo. I saw recently someone else also tried without success. At the recent event I caught up remotely with Mr Roo and another cacher offered another potential spot the cache could be at. So I decided I would check again and if not found setup the replacement. This time x_mscake came along as well and we again checked all the options but still no sign of it. So I then went to plan B.
You will now find a real go slow cache container be careful with it. The log book if folded correctly and positioned right can be inserted back in fairly easily without force. A bend in the log book needs to be following the curve. This cache is a little more noticeable so try to replace it exactly where found without it standing out too much.
I finally have a smiley at this spot which bugged me every time I looked at the map and had to recall which cache it was.
Thanks for the cache Mr Roo.

I can't remember the date but I couldn't find it,ome time in March I think. So I agree I don't think it's there anymore. Look at images one shows clearly what you are looking for.. A real spoiler...
Way too clever! Wow really tiny & left field. First of this kind I have ever found, very sneaky & slow!
2nd on this morning's geo-cycle. Found GZ easily, but spent some time looking in the wrong place. Started looking at other possibilities and something caught my eye, but it wasn't it. However, something else then caught my eye. Excellent hide! TFTC
Found at 1700. I originally wasn't planning on ranging this far out for my calendar-filling cache, but a pickup for work plus the boss letting me clear off early if I gave him a lift made it a much more appealing prospect.
The BMX track was abandoned when I arrived and I briefly considered crossing through, but wasn't sure if there was an exit so I went the long way round. At GZ my GPSr seemed to be up to its old trick, sending me first one way then the other without providing any consistent guidance. Eventually I stumbled across something out of place - but with no way to open it all I could do was ponder its meaning. Eventually I found a second 'something' in a similar location - is some brooding bird suffering from empty-nest syndrome?
A bit of systematic searching later and everything finally fell into place, with the cache in hand, the log signed and a favourite awarded for a very nice container - thanks for the cache mr_roo.

Decided to finish off the day after collecting Mt Rogers caches with this one. Nice hide Mr Roo
Found whilst out on a family caching day - visiting Brother O319 in Canberra for his 50th Birthday!
Beautiful spring weather for the day, 30 caches for the day.
Great day all round

I had been here before and had no success. This time the clue was helpful. Thanks mr roo
A beautiful sunny afternoon, went of on my bicycle to find some caches. This was the last for the day. Took a bit of hunting since my gps decided to go on strike. Thank goodness for static maps. I was very impressed with the cache. Thanks!
An interesting place. I have driven past here many a time but never stopped to have a look. The track is a lot larger than I thought it would be.

Out this morning feeding the animal clients around the area, this one was around the corner. We had a log sheet in the car so replaced the full one for the CO. Cool container, TFTC
Log is definitely full. Took quite a bit of searching to spot it. Nice camo! TFTC
Chuckle. Very fine container.
I'm not sure what a mongoose would make of it

Fantastic cache. We've seen something like this before which helped us decipher the clue and the Mr Red_V came up with the find. The log is most definitely full. TFTC.
Sorry for my late log.
I found this one with allrounder and Shadow! - this was an interesting container, first one I've seen like this.
Thank you for the cache.

Cool camo, I was surprised we found it reasonably quickly. The coords were spot on.
The log is full so I had to squeeze our names in where I could. Thanks mr_roo

The log needs replacing as it's next to impossible to find a spot to squeeze your name in without writing over the top of others.

Find 3 of 23 in Batgirl's Birthday Blitz by Belconnen on a balmy bright b...... nup it's going to have to be d day. No mongooses spotted given it was a weekday and I was on foot anyway, but I did spot something else and thankfully it contained the cache.
The morning was pretty hot, but I walked around to this one from the front gate. This one sure blends in well. Thanks.

#1313 - 19:50; Dashed out briefly for the daily cache and grabbed this one and another nearby. Luckily I had spotted something like this recently in WA or I may have had a problem! The log is full to overflowing and I just found room along the edge for date an initials. The streak extends a little further. TFTC mr roo
Over the next few days we are going to try to find all the nearby unfound caches. Tried to find this one a few weeks ago with out luck but was found straight away this time. This was the fourth in our challenge. Found by Akito10.

Awesome cache! The log is full so I just squished my name in any available space.
An unusual container but a quick find. Magpies were behaving themselves today. TFTC mr roo and a favourite from me.
Made this find on 14/10 to keep my streak alive.
I found this one quickly after a short stroll. Cool container and the hint is rather amusing.
The log on this one is very full however and needs replacing.
Thanks for the cool hide mr_roo

Today is H's birthday. It is also the day we celebrate our milestone 500th cache and we had carefully planned it to be closer to home and by our first caching friend Mr Roo, in honour of the night we first met him and Jusojara on a crazy FTF hunt. L, R and Geckohugger went for the walk, braving the swooping magpie and it was not long before this critter was in hand making our 499th. TFTC - and the log is full.
TFTC found again with Gezzer10, electric turtle and injury man
Log full needs maintenance

Again met up with VikingOlly and Awesome Princess at this one. This search didn't take quite as long as 'Magic' did beforehand. Soon enough, geocache was in hand. TFTC mr roo, another amazing cache you have placed!
Now, just the ride home on pushbike

Found this one on a cold and blustery night. Once we returned to the Geomobile the cops were there checking the road barrier that had been hit (luckily not us!)

Nice find for our 200th cache!!! Very creative. We have been looking at these containers to buy so it was great to test before we buy!! Enjoyed the walk and the cache well done.
389. The weather was good, it was a day off work and I felt like some exercise so all the boxes were ticked for a day of caching on the bike. I recently found another game I could play while out geocaching, so today was a trial of that...
There were a few teens on their Mongoose bmx's at the park, I wonder what they thought of my Giant Mtb....
Took a little bit of scratching and searching but the goods were found in no time!
Loved the cache and honestly I've never seen one quite like this.

After picking up "Magic" last week, I thought I knew what I was looking for, but when you have pre conceived ideas, they often don't work out! This was certainly the case here at Mongoose. After looking for what I had in mind for a good 15 minutes, I found something completely different and had to have a good old laugh at myself!
Thanks Mr Roo, no roos today, just lots of looking! Enjoyed the find though!
Cheers

On a bit of a night ride, thought i would duck over to this little gem.
Glad i had the mtb tonight as a roadie would have run away scared.
Awesome cache container,
top notch!!

Found on a caching afternoon in Belconnen. Didn't know what to expect for this one, but was very impressed in the end. There were some boys riding at the BMX track today, but we avoided them on the route to GZ. A few minutes of searching led to us realising that we were blind, the cache was right next to us the whole time. Fantastic container, seen these on the net but never seen one in person, great to see one in Canberra. Great track for the riders. TFTC mr_roo!
Found a couple weeks ago forgot to log it. What a great a fantastic facility for the young (and not so young) members of our town and visitors. It looks like the caretakers are putting a lot of effort into maintaining the facility.
A great cache container, first time I have seen one these.
Thanks Mr_Roo for the hunt.
