We came we saw the debris higher than waist height, smashed up against the hide. Also saw a snake just before reaching GZ so not going poking in there after the evidence before me
This cache was above the Flood line but has indeed been muggled. Time to let it go as it has been replaced a few time as I think local

Spent time looking here and it's been washed away that is for sure. I have messaged CO.
TBH don't look, read the last 2 DNFs too and decided to put it on a watch list so we can come back one day.
I agree with the previous changer with it being swept away. Heavy rains here in February so more than likely was picked up with the swollen creek and taken into the unknown.
Spent quite a while at GZ and had no luck at all. It looks like there have been flood waters gone through sometime since the last cacher found this one. It’s been over 5 months since it’s been found so hopefully people haven’t not logged their DNF.
Heading for the Gawld Coast today,
I paused for some exercise,
Canungra way
A lovely stroll along the creek,
started by the bridge on the main road.
After following the trail to reach half way,
I discovered the walking track has washed away [:o]
A hundred metres back,
and I headed on up,
to the midst of suburbia,
to finish the walk
Past the end of the street,
and across the park,
I was streamside again,
and was searching through bark
The cache couldn't stay hidden,
from me searching paws,
and after some scratching,
a cache was saws
TFTC and a stroll [^]

On a day drive loop from Tamborine to Canungra and Beechmont we drove to near thiscache to save some time. Cache found on the ground and replaced in a likely place with a few sticks as cover. The local revegetators may be onto it though. Thanks again forcan interesting location.
Heading to GZ and a man stopped to ask if we had seen his dogs. We hadn't so continued on and after a short search the cache was located... suddenly 2 staffies who seemed very happy with themselves emerged from the river. Searching for there owner who had moved on was harder than finding the cache but soon the happy dogs were reunited. Great spot for a cache. Thanks for bringing us here.
Out caching with tenkae and, with temperatures rising, a few laughs and a couple of loose dogs, we eventually made it to the cache and returned the dogs to a very happy owner. Tftc!
After finding #1 we crossed under the road and followed the path. By the time we had reached the end we were wishing we'd walked roadside as the stench of the bats was a little overpowering as we passed and the path/track is in disrepair. There is a sign at the entry stating this path was no longer being maintained and directing us to the street.
Of course we took no notice but made sure we were careful.
When we finally reached the end(without mishap)we came upon a green field being mown. A short distance further on we turned off and in a few minutes cache was in hand. Log signed and cache replaced as found.
We walked back to the car at D J Smith Park via the road this time. We enjoyed the experience of finding this cache.

Out and about with Black Flag Son and Cherry Blossom 81 on a Sunday and what better way than to find some caches before school goes back. This was situated in a great location, away from prying eyes and a nice spot for photos. TFTC.
Coming back from The Border Ranges. This one has been found m my radar for a while. Good one for kids so I dropped in a bit of swag
After grabbing the first one in this series, we walked along the creek to this cache. Was a nice walk past the bat colony and down the river. The creek looked awesome today, full of fresh water from the recent rain. Was so good to see it flowing again. The cache was found after a few minutes. I initially searched the wrong one, but as soon as I corrected myself, the cache was in hand. Nice one, SaintsMadHouse!
We decided to drive to O'Reillys for lunch and pick up some caches along the way. Nice walk along the creek. TFTC saintsmadhouse

Day 23 Trip from Bright in Victoria to Brisbane, Queensland can be rather boring, so we cache as we go. We camped at Dalveen on the granite belt last night, narrowly missing a really good storm. Today we travelled on to Canungra where we are attending an event tomorrow.
In town for tomorrow's geo event.
Parked close by, went in via a pretty park. Quick find, thanks saintsmadhouse, Looking forward to meeting you

That is so not waist high! But i perservered and got it. Lovely to see all the revegetation but sad to see they,re not maintaining the path any more tftc
Awesome! Was super windy today so lots of trees had fallen down along the path. Park at the end is really nice. Thanks for bringing me here. Cache in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** Found this cache exactly where the GPS said we should be looking. The hint was really helpful. The walk was not long and was pleasant. We took the dogs on this one and they enjoyed it.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Special charm. Signed cache.

After my hiccup earlier, this has been double checked now and I can confirm the coordinates are right. Happy hunting!
I have just been alerted to a problem with my coordinates, I will get out this weekend and get another set taken. Sorry for the error, will be fixed within 48hrs
Unfortunately getting very wet after the last storm. Needs new container. We tucked away, hoping it won’t get to much wetter TFTC

Another perfect Autumn day for a trip while at Canungra for the weekend.
Lots more muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.
Nice spot. Lid is still missing but the cache is safe and dry.
Thanks for the cache SaintsMadHouse,

Unfortunately after the recent DNF we didn’t cache all that hard but the smell of wood chips kept us happy. Thanks anyway
Searched all over thought I spotted likely hiding spot but was nothing there. Ohh well next time maybe
I thought that this would be a DNF! The coords had me out on the grass where no likely hide could exist. That, combined with a fair amount off recent landscaping had me jumping to the conclusion that it was missing. I had even walked away, when I decided on another look, just in case. The coords had me about six metres from the nearest likely spot. Neve say Quit, though, and I looked where I thought I'd hide a geocache, and sure enough, there it was in plain view.
Unfortunately, the lid is missing. Everything else seems intact: the logbook was there and dry, but no pen.
Next searcher might renew the container. TIA
PS: Parts of the track look as though they have been closed, but the barrier has been pulled away. It's quite possible, though, to approach this cache by public road.

This cache was about six metres off the coords, and the lid is missing. Still quite findable.
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Canungra, we decided to head out and explore the surrounding area using Geocaching as a guide, before the predicted afternoon thunderstorms.

Last one before the event today. A quick park and wander down the track. You can tell the force the water has had through here at some stage.
Continued my walk along the waterway. Quite an interesting walk with curious spectators everywhere, noisey fruit in the trees and strangly a part of the track fenced off as dangerous. Strange because that part of the track was about the safest of the whole thing? Perhaps a bunyip lies in waiting but was asleep as I jumped the fences and reached the GZ in one piece. Nicely hidden cache and all is good here. Thanks SaintsMadHouse
Found it together with Yaduk. The last found was a long time ago. TFTC. Greetings from Hamburg
I have just been on an overnight hike to Echo Point with K8nCo, Nyssaflutterby, Monkeymaker and Wombles. We had had lunch at the Outpost Cafe and we're heading home. I decided to do this cache before leaving Canungra. TFTC!
Interesting to visit immediately after the flooding to see how much carnage Mother Nature can cause...We were worried, as this was creekside, that the cache could've been washed away, but thankfully it was still intact and dry. Left a dinosaur egg. Sneaky Squirrels
The water level in the flood following Ex-Cyclone Debbie in March, 2017 did manage to flow over this geocache! The water was about 30cm above the lid! Luckily due to the hide location, the geocache was still here and it's contents were perfectly dry.
taking offline due to the weather just in case it gets washed away. If anyone wants to try it and finds it in place after the Storms from Cyclone Debbie please let me know and I will re activate it. Thanks and stay safe.
Needing a find for the day and driving past here the decision was made to have a look for Canungra Creek #1. Getting close to GZ there seemed to be a heap of people out and about going for there afternoon walk. It was an easy decision to leave this one for another day and to head off to #2. After a short walk and scaring a couple of water dragons off the path the cache was soon in hand. The GPS jumped around under the tree cover but all is good.
Left the "Bocky" TB to continue on with it's travels.

Another lovely day driving around the rural areas of the Gold Coast. Today I headed out towards Canungra visiting alot of back roads along the way. Wow there are some VERY steep roads out this way !!!
Another nice quick find in a lovely area. Signed and replaced the cache, onwards I go.

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. Having spent a few days in Sydney with Geocaching friends we flew to the Gold Coast and Lamington National Park (where we are heading to at present). We then drive to Noosa and a trip out to Fraser Island before flying from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
A nice quick find at Ground Zero while out enjoying some bird watching along the creek. Thanks so much for the cache.

Nice hide and a lovely walk. We are up from Vox and had some time to kill so we went for the walk for both of these caches.
circled this cache so many times - eventually went at it with both hands. nice walk and great scenery. TFTC.
Lovely creekside walk. Spotted some turtles sunbasking on logs in the water. Swapped pencil caps & army man for snake and pink car.TFTC
Been a while since this one had been found...showing it some caching love. Thanks for this one, great find for my 150th.
Found it! watch out for the unofficial park security swear i almost died coz i parked on the grass (not his grass)
Nice easy find in the obvious location, cache is in good condition. Tranquil little spot near the creek, thanks for bringing us here.
Crew 153, Dosshell, and I made our way to this cache next. We were feeling exceptionally lazy after doing a big walk - so we drive as close as possible to this one
We parked up and made our way to GZ. Dosshell arrived first but initially couldn't come up with the cache - but then he spotted the prize. It was in good condition. Another lovely little area. TFTC SaintsMadHouse

After being up on the range with Fangsoki and Dosshell we were heading home and decided that we should stop to get the two caches in this area and stretch the legs.
We parked close and Dosshell lead us to a likely search area and a quick find.

Found with stairman1. We must have taken the long way in to this one. After our morning walk our legs were a little tired. The bats were complaining about us being here and were screeching and fighting as we walked past. The water was flowing quite quickly. We were amused by the lizards sitting on the edge of the logs waiting for something to came out to catch.
We eventually arrived at GZ and signed our names in the log. Now to get back to the car before the rain really comes down. Thanks SaintsMadhouse.
