100th for Rouille Love this church and grounds ... and what fascinating bark of the cache tree !TFTC
Just arrived from the North Island heading over to Blenheim, but took my time to stop for a cache or two or three Well foundTftc
Nice little spot here. Very praceful and quiet, until the next logging truck rolls along
Thanks for this one!
Thanks for this one!
Almost forgot to log this one, oops. Quick stop on the way home after a planting day at a friend's place. Searched at wrong spot first, once corrected it was an immediate find. Checked the book swap for a nice read as well, took some photos and off we went.
Thanks for another smile on the day and making me stop here.

Quick fine with Finder Fred (5)! Fred also grabbed a few books for the little library. TFTC!
#11,121. I am staying with a work colleague who lives at Hira so we can go over some historic datasets. After a busy work day we decided to take advantage of the break in the weather (its been raining all day) and head down to Cable Bay direction to find the geotour cache. On the way back we stopped at the historic church. My friend was quickly onto it spotting the cache before I had time to check the hint. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks BigglesNZ for the history associated with this site.
Making the most of the few remaining days of rego left on Bumblebee, I buzzed across to Nelson to collect up some puzzle caches solved during the 2021 lockdown. This was a brief stop after the windy, fun, hill road. Easy find.
This was a nice shady spot to stop for a break and to let the wee hangers on run free. Sometimes they can be useful cover given they seem to need feeding every 5 mins... A nice easy find. We liked the new colourful addition (book swap fridge) on the lawn. TFTC.
Was killing time waiting for a friend to turn up

In the area so stopped off. Walked down from the history cache and soon had my second find for the morning. Thanks for the cache.
Thankfully it wasn't raining, just a bit muddy underfoot. My muggle friend and I stopped to take in the church, charming as it was - well she went to look at the church I had the cache to find first. Nicely done thanks.
Day 1, Part 1. Jude_E picked me up from the airport. A tricky find.
Thanks BigglesNZ for creating this hide. It was find 9820 for me.

We are on a quest for our last PWGT at Cable Bay today. But I want to pick up others along the way. Quikc snag and tag here. Cheers
Sunday 14 Feb - Motueka - Wakefield - Richmond - Cable Bay and home to Picton. So lets get exploring.
A surprise call from Taybee NZ wanting to do the PWGT series inspired us to come to Tasman for a 3 day weekend with Zara and Toby. We explored some awesome spots in Collingwood, Takaka, Kaiteriteri, Riwaka, Wakefield, Nelson and Cable Bay. Thanks for al the COs who helped this happen. Enjoyed reading all the cache pages relating to NZs history and events.

We stopped here after lunch with friends at the Fun Park before reluctantly continuing on our way to Picton.

This was my ninth find today and here I found a completely blank log. I always feel that's almost as good as an F T F!
I really enjoyed the cache page write up and had a look around the outside of the church. Thank you for bringing me here and for the cache.

Day 8 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
Today was International Geocaching Day 2020, and I had made sure I was in Nelson to attend a Community Celebration Event here for it. Then I would be making my way over to Picton (hopefully) for the night, but of course stopping to look for a cache as and when I felt like a break along the way.
This was a cache picked at random, mainly for its proximity to the highway and where I hoped to have a quick find, which is pretty much what happened. However, on opening the cache I discovered the log to be soaking wet! Thank heavens for waterproof paper, so I was able to do the usual caching administration before replacing everything as it should be.
Thanks for placing this cache.

A tough one for me, I had been here a few times over the years and no joy. Drove past today on the way home and saw the potential hide has had a trim, and a very recent find. So popped in, and it was as easy as you like this time. Nice to knock this off finally. TFTC Biggles.
Another weekend in Brightwater and Sunday was caching day with runninggirl1972.
So we headed to Motueka for the market. A little bit of retail therapy there, but we were too late in the day for the donuts we wanted from the outfit just down the road. Did the adventure lab in the area, then headed to Mapua for lunch and more retail therapy. Finally home via a Moutere detour, and that is my weekend done.
Will be back next weekend though.
Thanks for the caches all COs.

Recently moved to the area from the UK. The cache was out in the open probably due to the high winds we've having. Log signed. Put back better hidden so it stays in place. Paper damp but in a waterproof baggie. Some creatures' had a nibble at the container but all is well. Beautiful Church. Thanks for placing.

I really enjoy discovering places like this and it is really only by geocaching that I do. A perfect sunny day to visit so got the prerequisite photos, rung the bell a few times and found the cache. Thanks BigglesNZ.
This was a bit tricky, had to climb through the dried out totara. Got there and signed log. A nice walk back to Hira History. TFTC
On our trip thru NZ we visit a lot of places and see many spectacular locations.

The last few times we have driven past here there has always been someone here and that was the case again earlier today when we were on our way to Cable Bay. As the way was clear on our return trip, we made the stop and found the cache. I replaced the mushy log and oversize plastic bag with a smaller bag and new log strip, which should last for a wee while, and the container should seal a bit better too so hopefully keep the moisture out a bit better. tftc
Definitely last day in Nelson, for this holiday, so came out towards Cable Bay to enjoy the scenery & find another couple of caches. I was here a couple of weeks ago, but hadn't planned very well.
Quick find today; thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, BigglesNZ. Great to highlight this lovely old church with a cache.

Lots of grass clippings and tree pruning heaped round hint item made access yucky for one wearing jandals! But the cache was retrieved and signed. TFTC
Found with NZDi. NZDi decided she needed a dose of retail therapy over the hill in Nelson today and said there would probably be time for some caching so I better come prepared. Unfortunately, as her list of things to do in Nelson got longer, the opportunity for caching got less. The last thing on her list was to check out a show home in Mapua but after that she remembered a gift shop in the township that she wanted to visit.
With her list finished and the sun getting low on the horizon, now was the time for caching. The plan to head up the target rich Matai valley will have to wait for another day, but after grabbing a brace in Mapua, we decided to make tracks back across the hill.
Having just got the cache at the cemetary up the road we pulled up outside the church for this. C:geo was leading me on a merry chase around the hinted items, not settling on any particular one, so I put it in my pocket and searched the obvious feature for a QEF PnG. I'm not sure why we haven't got these two before now, maybe a subconscious aversion to churches and cemetaries.
