Net88 and I were blasting along a back road heading home from a couple of days up north when this icon on my GPSr grabbed my attention. She had already found it, but seeing as I'm operating the vehicle, we shall be stopping Razz

Lots of room to pull over and I followed the GPSr in. It led me to a spot and a quick hint from Net to save me what would have been several minutes and I had the cache in hand. To add to the debate, the co-ordinates were fine for me today, but the hint should sort anyone out who has issues. A nice, quick find to help break up the drive this afternoon. TFTC Team LJCC Smile

It's Freaky Friday with teamdfl again Big Grin We wandered around for quite a while here Sad Checked rather a lot of spots, but to no avail. My wanderings kept getting further and further from GZ and I ended up finding the container about 15 metres away... Very glad to make it a smilie after all. TFTC, Team LJCC.

Had this one in the bag but can understand why it was suffering a recent DNF. It was on teh ground as part of the container had come away. lucky to see it in the sun but clearly away from its intended position.

I have repositioned it to where I think it wanted to be but the CO may wish to check this one as it remains a little too exposed given its current condition. Sorry I couldn't repair today as I was only passing through and took the chance for a find.

A quick pick up on an early trip from Bribie to Brisbane. Like others, I had a little trouble with the co-ordinates, and with cloud cover this morning it was not easy. After a bit of wandering around I spotted the cache.

Log signed, cache returned - all good within.

I am one of the half that the co-ords just didn't work for. Had me about 13m off the cache. Did find it with the clue after almost giving up, not expecting it to be that far away. The co-ords that worked for me today were S27 11.481 E152.59.069. Good song to continue my ride. TFTC

04-Aug-13
I wanted to get a couple of caches on the way home and decided that I would take a short detour and locate this one.

A bit of searching around where the GPS was indicating and then I widened the search one way but didn't find it so I went the other way and soon discovered the cache.

No. 435

Found with Geodaughters 2 and 3. When I pulled up to park, I already had my excuse for being at GZ planned out, ie. G2 needed to pee desperately [:o)]. We walked up the little path and noticed that our GPSr was absolutely no help, so I decided to use the hint instead and was successful very quickly.

I had a bit of trouble getting my pen to work on the shiny paper, but other than that, all is safe and sound.

Thanks for the cache Team LJCC Big Grin.

Mrs Just a Trifle has just worked out how to update her GSAK database from the GPS to indicate those caches found. Well you know what that means don't you? Yep, we have found a few caches which we have not yet logged so now we are trying to catch up with the on-line logging. This one was a quick find on our way home from work. Thank you for having placed the cache Team LJCC

We had completed the nearby power trail this morning and after refuelling with some lunch we headed out to find a few more caches in this beautiful Winter weather - 28 degrees?! Gotta love QLD! This one took us quite a while to find in a rather unpleasant area. The cache was eventually found about 10m from the co-ords. TNLNSL TFTC

Snuck out today with Mrs Prime`[:X] to try and get a little bit of sunshineCool and fresh air[^] into our lives. And I managed to convince her that a few caches up around here would fit the deal.Big Grin Not much of a music fan, and I am already sensing this might be a disadvantage in this area ... took a moment to work out where to look ... think I'm a fan of the coordinates you rejected. But in due course I spotted what I was looking for, and a quick log was signed.
Thanks for placing this cache, Team LJCC. Found in good condition.

Visited to check on cache. All good. Checked co-ordinates again, they still work for us...more or less...SO...we have added information to the hint.

Hmmm. This one took me forever to find an only because I went away from where the GPS was telling me to go. I was a little concerned walking 'down there' but at least I didn't have to take more than about 10 steps 'down there'. TFTC

23-May-13
I had some issues in finding this one today and it comes back to the coords, I can see they have been changed twice now, but it seems what they were changed back do not match the location of the cache.

The current coords on the cache resulted in nothing so when I saw the alternate coords I tried them and was almost bang on the money. S 27° 11.484 E 152° 59.070 worked for me today.

Maybe a suggestion if you cannot make the coords accurate because it is to close to the other cache, move the physical cache to match the coords you need to use or at least get it as close to them as you can.

There have been quite a few cheeky green boxes popping up all over the place in the last couple of months. Just staring at me, in my nice little sea of smileys. Today however I had the chance to convert them all. Net88 and all of my munchkins were packed into Spangle to help with this late afternoon caching mission. We arrived at GZ with a slight issue, we only had one navigational device still working Surprised Ah well, mini iPad it has to be then, we didn't come all this way for nothing!

Seeing as Net88 had already found this one, she stayed in the car and entertained the munchkins so I could go off and enjoy the hunt. Once at GZ it wasn't long until I had spotted the cache, but hmm, I'm not so sure it was supposed to be lying on the ground? I signed the log and seeing as it was some what magnetic, I replaced it where it would stick.

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 11.484 E 152° 59.060

G'Day

I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Traditional Cache of "Warning Cerium" http://coord.info/GC1GA4K and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx?expand=1#cachesaturation

I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

Rgds,
Matt - Ministro.

I had been caching since 9:30am with Nyssaflutterby, when we met up with Captain Terror after lunch. Around 2:30 Nyssa needed to go and pick up the kids from school so it was just the Captain and myself. At 9pm we met back up with Nyssa and we were also joined by egginthesky. At 12:30am Nyssa and the Captain decided it was time to head home so egginthesky and i decided to head north and clean up some more caches Big Grin. Wow were our gpsr's angry at this cache. They did not want to find the cache at all. We ended up realising good ol reliable Fang had posted coords and they were about a metre out. It was now pouring rain at 3:30am and we were just glad to find the cache and move on. Thanks for the cache

My second find after lunch. I had returned to the nearby cemetary for another coat of paint on poppy's headstone. There had been an accident in full flight at the lights but it had cleared by the time I was heading back to Gympie road.

I searched around for quite a bit before finding the cache in plain sight. Quite a way from the listed co-ords.

Totalube, Team Lokipagan, and I pulled up at this one next. Our GPSr's seemed to be pointing us in an unlikely direction that did not end up matching the hint.

However, both Pagan and I spotted the beast at the same time - covered in webs. The cache was in good condition. We signed it and returned it to its home. I have posted up the co-ordinates that worked for me today. TFTC Team LJCC Smile

Our GPS had a bit of a fit when we got out of the Fangsoki-mobile on arrival! After it settled down a bit, we hunted around a few places but still no luck. Eventually Pagan found the cache after widening the search area. Coords were about 10m out for us today. Thanks Team LJCC

Was in the area about 30 mins before this one was published and had already left. Knew we were no chance of the FTF so decided to leave this for another day.

That day was today. After spending over 2 hours at another location for an FTF, we gave up. Needing a cache for today decided to grab this one.

Was watching GPS but still drove past GZ by a kilometre. U-turn done and pull up at GZ. Witht he overcast skies, GPS wanted us to go 10 metres away, but it was a quick find regardless.

*FTF* at 8:29am. Raced out of the house and got the usual one red light. Parked close to GZ but we searched and searched where the GPSr wanted us with no luck so while on the phone seeing if any one else was coming I spotted the little beast, in a logical place.
