Logs
Leaving a maintenance log in case CO doesn't notice the DNF. Looks like this one will be out of action for a while as it stands.
This cache is no longer accessible due to the reception of a new fence as part of the Isabella Ponds Precinct Improvement Works.
Been wanting to get back to this series since May last year, so today packed the treadly in the boot & headed off to Canberra. Beaut day for a ride. Cache found easily, and is in good nick.
Had to sit patiently nearby, and had a snack, while waited for a nearby muggle to finish donning his waders and finally headed off to the water, before I could approach GZ.

A nice easy fine on a day forecasted to be 41 degrees! Better get some caching in early while warm it seemed to keep the muggles away atleast. Tftc
#11383. Day 12 of our two week Canberra Holiday with Robmc. With Rob feeling much better after being sick since Monday we loaded up the bicycles and headed over to do the "Artists It Up" Series. What a beautiful morning for a ride - we thoroughly enjoyed it. What a shame this series has been let go, but it is now revitalised with many new log sheets (of Rite-in-the-Rain paper) and a few new containers back in place.
Rob had been waiting for some Australian artists and so they started right here at the end of our ride - with Drysdale before this one! Not a big fan of McCubbin but recognise his works of course. Log was full so new log sheet now in place and all good here.
Thanks Chalk It Up

Day twelve in Canberra with BettyBoo3747. We shackled the deadly treadlies to the car and set off for IT UP territory. A lovely day riding the trails through the trees a light breeze collecting (or sometimes not collecting) It Up caches. A nice collection of caches and very few muggles for a sunny Saturday.
Fred has done many very well known bush paintings, none that I would care to look at for a long time - they are very emotive.
Thanks, Robmc.

I found it in the right place. But the log is still full! I grew up with this very McCubbin picture on my bedroom wall, so I feel right at home.
#540 Twentieth of twenty six finds on a days caching around Canberra. Nice quick find. TFTC
Went for a drive around with the family, thought stop by here and sign log in TFTC Chalk It Up
Out with Joey Loves Treasure making the most of the last of a lovely long weekend. TFTC.
PS. This cache needs a new log; we didn't have a spare with us.

First cache of the day, Found a space to make my mar on the log and off I was again. Thanks.
A not so quick find for this one, a little more cover to check through. Getting to know this series though. Found with The Matetrix. TNLNSL TFTC
Tftc. Another quick find. I tend to do a couple of caches in this series each time I come out this way to visit the grandkids.
A gentle bike ride by an old codger trying to find 1000 caches by the end of the year. I'll do that if, from a base of 700, I keep ahead of the day number. Today is 30 March, day 90 in a leap year Gregorian calendar. Last one today was Streeton It Up, #805. So I'm 15 ahead. TFTC.
Arrived in Canberra and had most of the day free, so what better way on a perfect autumn day than to spend the time geocaching. I was intending to break my 'most caches in a day' record (currently set at 4) by finding 20 caches along this great painters trail, but was having such a good time that I stretched it to 30. Woo-hoo! I really enjoyed this series. Nice walks along pathways beside the canals or lake, and sometimes off path as well. Saw lots of native birds along the way. The accurate co-ordinates and helpful hints meant that, apart from a few exceptions, I was able to walk straight up to the (mostly) tree and see the cache straight away. Most of the logs could be easily extracted, though a few required some effort and one or two I couldn't get out without destroying the logs as they were damp/jammed in. One of my favourite Australian artists. TFTCs and the series
Only replaced it at about 8pm so may not have been there when SanandChris looked.
Hey, so I was out finding some of the "Up" series caches, and a few others nearby and I found a bison tube at another caches hiding place (it wasn't even one of Chalk It Up's hides). Had a log book in it that matches logs posted for this cache and matches the description that one of the previous log said: "Black and Blue".
So I do believe I found the cache and have restored it back to it's hiding place. Rest easy Chalk It Up for your prodigal cache has returned

Found the hook but there is no cache. Spent some time searching the ground, but the cache remained missing.
We did not find the cache but we found the hook that Grenache should be hanging on. We looked in the ground but did not find it.
Found this hook but no cache. Might be right, might be wrong. But didn't find it.
Spent the day out on the bike doing most of the UP caches. A nice day with lot of caches found. Parked at the pines and followed the paths from there.
Cache found OK. Nice painting...
Thanks

Decided to tackle some of this series this morning during our 2 day caching trip :) We had some bike issues today so just decided to walk and not quite completed this stretch but walked about 10km in total. All the find were very similar, so sorry for the generic logs but I can't think of much else to say :P Ill add a comment underneath about each one ----->
Last cache for the day! Before the 5km walk back to the car which seemed like a lot since we were riding our bikes around Kowen Forest for 9 hours straight the day before. A good concealed hide here too Well away from a muggles view which was better compared to the others. Thanks for this series, will be back at a later date to continue it

After a nice day of caching in the Gigerline NR (the Vamp Trail series and Murrumbidgee Meander) I thought I would finish off the day by adding a few more of the (Artist) It Up series to my list of finds. The series in this area gave me the chance to enjoy a wonderful sunset reflected in the tranquil waters of Isabella Pond. All caches were easily and discreetly found in between passing muggles.
TFTC and the series - much appreciated. It has been quite a long day with lots of caches found and it's now getting late, so please forgive the generic logs.

attempted to find this one twice today but the muggles on bikes seem to like this spot think I'll come back for it another day
Found with our poochies and our bunch!
Easy find! Love this series for relative beginners!..

F(H)ound it! 5:15pm.
I was at a conference all day in Woden. Had to sneak out early to get my fix and nearly didn't make it. The Ridgeo-pup was not feeling her best and politely had her regurgitation BEFORE she got back into the car. A nice brisk walk in the sunset hopefully made her feel better. It sure made me feel better! - TFTC Chalk It Up
No pic tonight - it was getting too dark.

#640. 222 days in a row.
I'm finally catching up on logging my finds from earlier in the year. I hope I've got all the dates right, but I've definitely found all of these caches and kept my streak going as long as I'm logging it.

Enjoying the walk down the hill and many well placed caches along the trail .
Thanks for the series .

A great morning to be out and about. I dropped my car at the mechanics and wandered off for a nice walk thinking there is a nice cache trail to keep me busy. The morning was nice and warm by now!
Found on a quick jaunt south of the lake with Geoman and our new Geopooch! I had a day off and Geoman wanted to take the new Geopooch, so a little walk around a few of this series was in order. It was a lovely afternoon for a jaunt - just lovely, and nice to walk in this area which was new to us.
For this one, we were a bit concerned given the number of options, but it was quickly spied and cache was in hand very soon there after!
TNLNSL thanks Chalk it up!

I have had my eye on the artist-it-up series for a while, but I wasn't relishing the thought of a day out in the open sun to do it. But today I bit the bullet and loaded up the bike for trip down south. It was above 30 C today with patchy clouds, high humidity and thunderstorms threatening. So it was a sweaty experience. I did a lot of these caches today, so please forgive the cut-and-paste log entries. Tftc series ChalkItUp.
