Spending the day exploring the Adelaide Hills and grabbing a few caches along the way. I started in Bridgewater, then to Mount Barker and then to Nairne. Despite the wind, I had an enjoyable day visiting new places. Quick find here. All good. Thank you The X-Trailers and Earthlight, for placing Ancestral Journey#17 From This Day Forward for the geocaching community.# # #15196 # #

Southern Autumn adventure Day 50. Mid North section of SA trip Day 21. Mount Barker 1. Today and the next two days are really transitional to me getting to Mildura in time to do the Paddle Steamer with friends from Canberra. In the meantime I had a day around Mount Barker area today. There was light rain on and off, but it was not much of a problem. I tried to find the multi's I worked out the numbers for yesterday and had a load more caches on the list that went from smoothly to very problematic. I had to skip a whole section as the only access road we being re-surfaced. It was a long and quite difficult day at times, but with that comes a sense of achievement with what was found. I finished the day with dinner in the pub in town and had a great night !
I missed this one under an icon yesterday, so stopped here as my first walk along the creek got started.
Thanks for the cache The X-Trailers

This one's a lot easier to find when you actually look in the right place...
Found on my third attempt, because of tree loppers, heavy traffic, and various other Muggle type interventions, and also the fact that I had been searching a similar structure about 3 metres away. 5.30 on a Friday evening wasn't a bad time to stand there talking on the phone, and trying not to look dodgy while inspecting the cobwebs with my fingers, hoping to not encounter a redback!
TFTC - it was much bigger then I expected!

Great to have a geo-mate today. Teamed up with AussieSparkie for a fun day of finds (and some no finds!) tftc
Had my eyes on Mount Barker for a while and finally had the chance to come and find a few, such colourful history and loved every minute. TYFC
I was wandering back towards the car I noticed I was walking past another cache. Got to love it when that happens. Quickly found though had to bide my time before making the retrieval. All good here. TFTC The X-Trailers and Earthlight

I was attending some training nearby so this was a nice and convenient option. The hide didn't match both parts of the hint but it really didn't matter. Tftc ️
A quick find while we were up in Mount barker for lunch. Tftc found it with cachehunter.
Found with NiciDanielle. A quick find after lunch in Mt Barker. Been a while since we've been up this way and can't believe how much it's expanded! TFTC
We did not find it, if it isn’t on the other side of the church, we could not find it
Spending a day turning our car towards home finally on Day 30 of our epic trip to Dayboro for the Easter Mega there. We found ourselves in Mt Barker looking for lunch. We found a great gourmet Bakery just around the corner from this cache, so of course I had to find it so I had at least one in this LGA. The church is indeed a wonderful sight to see! Well worth noting with a cache.
Full time nomads exploring SA, moving day today to Multi central or muggles know it at Mt Barker.
Had some shopping that had to be done so decided to tackle as many multis to get corrected coords ready for finding over the next few days.
This of course brought us near some Traditional caches so we HAD to grab them.
