This is one of those caches that you drive by but never stop for. Today we were having a leisurely trp as far as Ashburton and with the lack of trucks on the road it made stopping easy. We pulled off onto the side road and there was an obvious track through the low bushes into the interior where my Garmin bought me right to the cache. This is certainly not going to blow away in any gale. All good with the contents. Thanks.
On our way to the airport with time to stop for this one. Quickly located and contents all good. Thanks drawp.
A bit overgrown at the cache location, fortunately a well worn track showed me the way; TFTC
Grabbed on the way home. Getting out was easier than getting in.
This is a dodgy corner. Seems to be a competition going on for cars motoring around the bend on two wheels.

Another in a series of random trips around the country, this weekend brings my down to Christchurch for a road trip down to Timaru for the Saturday night, and back home to Wellington on Sunday. With only a few real life commitments in between I had plenty of spare time for targeting some specific caches along the way (as required for some of my geocaching goals), as well as a few random others. This was one of them.
As others have mentioned, the bush is probably a little past being called small, but no trouble here as it was all quiet in the area today and the cache was found as described, all safe and dry.
Thanks to drawp for placing this cache here.

Finally getting round to collecting the ones around town area. Tftc.
I think the small bush has definitely grown

Had been holed up nearby during the past 2 days of bad weather. With the sun now out it was time to head outdoors for some caching. This was the first cache attempted. Nice quick find. TFTC drawp.
Quick park and grab. If you use the road heading to the airport park well off to the side - we were surprised by a fuel tanker coming off the main road and wanting to pass. TFTC
Day 11 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
By now the weather was really putting an effort into trying to convince me it wasn't winter! I have been so lucky to have dry conditions my whole trip so far. Today's plan was to drive from Christchurch to Timaru, following the coast but with plenty of side trips to get caches targeted as per above, and any others I felt inclined to stop at including this one.
Effectively this was a park n grab for me today. There was only passing traffic as I parked up and walked over to GZ. The cache itself was a quick find, and finding no issues with the cache or log I did the expected caching field admin before replacing everything back exactly as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Not a fan of this one. The main road is pretty scary when there are 2 lanes of traffic going right past. Found but thankful we dont have to do it again!
Note to placer, logbook might need to be replaced due to being waterlogged and falling apart.
Found reasonably easy to find, got a few twigs stuck in my hair but worth the find!

This was indeed a quick stop as we made our way up the island to catch the ferry later tonight.
The drizzly rain was the worst bit, trying to stay dry in the bushes.
Thanks for putting this here drawp

I was expecting this to be a quick find so I stopped in the car while Antnich dashed out to GZ. He eventually returned after several minutes, surprised with how long it took him! TFTC
I can’t believe I walked round the bush twice! When I saw it on my second circuit of the bush I couldn’t believe how I missed it on the first!
Should have been straight forward, zeroed in, clue confirmed, but nope. This is a DNF for us.
Exploring Timaru while here for the National Daffodil Show. Didn’t really enjoy the prickles around this one but at least no blood was spilt. Cache was soon found and replaced. TFTC
Sorry for late log, just catching up on a few logs from earlier finds. Found on way back to chch after work project in Timaru ground to halt. TFTC!
Heading to Christchurch and stopped here to have tea and of course look for something close by nice quick find. TFTC
Driving back to Christchurch after a brief spell in Dunedin; this was on the way (sort of) and found quickly.
Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, drawp.

My second Timaru cache. Got a bit wet looking for this one. Eventually zero'd in on the right spot and noticed the hint objects. TFTC, Biggles.
The banians trip to Timaru for a wedding, and of course a cache or two.
We made the mistake of turning into the side road then noticed the No Entry sign so had to take the long way out.
TFTC drawp.

Weekend trip to Oamaru and Dunedin for the Pink Concert so doing some caching on the way. TFTH.
Out with Busy paws today, this was our last one of the day. Quickly found and signed. TFTC.
A bit of a prickly search here as the weather warms up up and we have bare arms! Like a maze really.... nice hide TFTC
Approach from side road very busy with the main road and passing lane right there. Thanks
After attending the Oamaru Geofeast we are now heading back to Christcurch. Caching with Di Morgan and grabbing a few caches along the way. No TB sighted here today.
Thanks drawp for placing the cache for us to find.

Left Oamaru today heading for Christchurch, we cached with Happy Feet 1 during our time here.
