Carried the two geokids on southwards as they decided their legs were broken. Fortunately this was a quick find, although I did have a good look under what I thought was an obvious GZ first! TNLN TFTC
Easy to locate GZ and easy find. Couldn't get the bison unscrewed though and I notice others obviously couldn't either as there was a new log commenced around bison. TFTC
Looks like somebody helped the owner with maintenance with this one. They used what was at hand which was a shopping bag. Needs real maintenance though.

Had to wait for some boys to stop playing on the bridge before I made the find. Very sad state this cache was found in. The lid is missing on both ends. It has been sealed with a plastic bag on one side but not the other. The inner plastic bag was torn and the log damp. needs attending too.
Found the pipe, no sign of little tube or logpaper. I made a quick fix with what I had at the moment for future cachers have something to sign on, but not sure how long it will last. See picture.
Thanks xPhenoms I'll come back to the rest of the series!

Travelled up the coast with pdbunce and FootyFanatics to avoid the heat in Sydney (topped 41) on a day that was 31 degrees in Umina Beach so we made the right decision by staying close to water. Started at the very
beginning. Excellent series. Really enjoyed the variety of caches and locations.

Found it on a stinking hot Sunday while escaping to the coast with evangt and pdbunce. Well we found the pipe anyway but there was no bison tube or log in it. This may need some maintenance.
Needs maintenance, it has come unstuck and the log is soaking wet so couldn't sign.
Hey Phenoms the cache needs a bit of TLC (Broken and soaked through)
Sorry to bother you with a NM

On my way back to Sydney from attending a wedding I thought I'd do the Kahibah Creek Series. I really enjoyed all the caches and the effort put into them by xPhenoms, thanks for a great series & TFTC
Teamed up with Mumma-Kel this morning to knock over this series. This one was a straightforward find, although it took us a little longer than it should have to get there ... the GPS coords showed up my GPSr as being on the other side of the path.

Out with Opa-Bob to collect up this series of caches this morning. We headed to this one from number 8 in the series, greeted by all different types of neighbourhood dogs along the way past the back fences. Reaching GZ for this one, it seemed obvious where to look, but the GPS said otherwise - but after cancelling out where the phone wanted me, I went back to my first thought and found the cache tucked away....on closer inspection though it seems this one has come unstuck from its camo - it still is doing its Job, but I assume it I found it in a different way to how it is intended to be found. All good though - log signed and it was onto the next. Thanks xPhenoms.
Gps also out for me so read previous logs which helped a lot. Log a but damp but usable. Onwards to no 8!
Finding the right tree was the problem here, so I just picked the biggest one...
Wow, it has been such a long time since we found this series!
We came down here as a family and it was a stinking hot day!
Thanks for hiding this series.

The last log helped, as I found myself looking at the wrong side if the bridge. SL. TFTC. PS Could do with some better stuffing than an empty cigarette packet..
TFTC.
log make in Dutch .

Container detached from lid like #5 but log is dry and usable. Pushed an empty cig packet into the base so it can be installed upright.

Quick grab, I will have to do from 7 down as not enough time to grab the others.
Thanks for the cache xPhenoms.
While on holiday in Central Coast, I decided to grab a few caches. I planned for around 20, and got nearly that many. Unfortunately, I was pressed for time, so there were some DNF's. But there were quite a few good caches, and I had quite a good time caching in Woy Woy.

GPSr had us a little way off the mark, but with the aid of the hint we soon had GZ narrowed down

I'm loving this series. Although I've started at 10 and worked back, I've seen that this was a hard one to find. My gps was not pointing to it at all. As per a previous (non?) finder, it had me in the middle of the bridge and pointing the wrong way. A check of the hint took me to the obvious location (after disregarding the gps). Lot of muggle activity since I hit this as school kids were coming home. Busted signing the log, but location is safe. Great container too! When I saw the reported size of this I was scared. I don't have a good track record with the smaller variety. But this was pretty easy once I looked for likely locations. Thanks for a great series, I'll tackle the rest another day. SL TFTC
It seemed everyone who lives on the Central Coast was walking over this bridge today! So busy, but nobody noticed my boy poking around and grabbing a certain item. Good one!
Nice!
May need maintenance in the near future.

GPS had me crossing and re crossing the creek.
Muggles had me pretending to photograph baby ducks, again, and again.
the area has evidence of many a location being searched looking in the place the clue says.
but given the previous finders log, i'm not sure this cache is still in the given location.
although at least 4 locations matched the clue given that my GPS pointed me back and forth.
the only stable location was in the middle of the bridge!.
Will return onother day for this one, the only one of 10 i could not locate.

After crossing the creek again, we soon spotted the cache thrown aside. Replaced as per the hint.

Today we came down the coast for a day of caching with TeamTonka, nellc and Djant.
This cache was quickly found by Djant as we all raced over to another area, we stopped to feed the ducks after. TFTC

10/06/13. 9:04 AM. Cache #682. Current streak: 274 days. A brief return of my caching mojo in an otherwise miserable hour of DNFs (at #6, #8 and #9). Pretty easy to find this one. TFTC }:)
A lovely stroll along the creek with Team Tonka, Team Senz and djant. We soon had this one in hand. TFTC
Reperio at 1120.
Headed down to the central coast today for a day of caching, including this series of caches. This was another nice spot along the creek, and made even more so with plenty of ducks coming over to say hello. Another interesting cache camo.

I went straight to what proved to be the right spot. Not quite as small as what I feared it could have been, and easy enough to see. TftC
We soon spotted this one. It was here that I realised that I had probably been signing the 11th not 13th May. At least they are logged for the correct day. TFTC.
A wonderful series of various types of caches. They took us to many locations which we had never before visited. Thanks, xPhenoms.
TFTC. Found a few of this good series while camping at Umina, had a couple of family members with us who may end up as cachers!
Found at 11.45am while out and about with xambo4u as we visit Gosford to attend the National Square Dance Convention. We decided to walk this trail and try and collect all the caches. We missed one but the rest were found however we did find that many of the co-ords were out from between 5 to 8m so we had to rely on the hints in some cases. We found some interesting cache containers in a variety of locations but found a trail that was overgrown by various types of weeds which spoiled the walk. Had to hang around for a few minutes until the muggles moved away then quickly located. TFTC
11.45am Out and about with 80 dredges this morning whilst enjoying a weekend away at the dance convention at Gosford. Having completed the others in the series this was the next along the trail. Very dissappointing to see so much weeds growing in the creek. Met up with a couple of muggles on the bridge so we needed to stall for a while. Nice easy find.
Thanks for the cache xPhenoms

Took the family for a lovely walk along the creek for Anzac day. Thanks for a great series and showing us a little creek we would not otherwise have explored.
Another great spot. Had to wait for some muggle this time before making the find. Thanks for taking us on this little stroll. TFTC.
Yay another very easy find, but it's a high traffic area so watch those muggles.
Now normally when sprung I like to educate the public on geocaching...
This time I get "Told" I'm a council inspector taking water samples hehehe, so I just ran with it, Yup

Another good hide and another quick find. Thanks xPenoms for the series and the walk along a track we didn't know about. TFTC
Came down today to do the Kahibah Creek series.
A quick find again. Nothing for the ducks as we had just eaten our sandwiches and didn't save any crust and they weren't gunna have my lamington. Thanks xPenoms

Found 9 of the 11 in this series today, making the most of my new premium membership. I did done bush regeneration work along this creek a few years back, it looks as through it could do with a lot more! Beware of grass ticks, I was covered at one point. Tftc series and the lovely walk!
This must be the first cache I've been to near a bridge and not in the obvious place. It was soon found with the lid off, and it is hard to keep on given the construction. There were plenty of ducks, moorhens and birds around, but the runoff from homes is allowing garden plants and weeds to choke the creek. Thanks for this hide and the rest of the set of caches along the creek, definitely recommended and a nice walk.
Was interupted by a strange female muggle wading up the midle of the creek, Great cache, What a great part of the State we live in never knew this track existed will have to return with GeoDawg she would love it, TFTC

GPS jumped around a bit on this one, so checked the hint and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks xPhenoms for a great little walk along this series, taking me passed where I once had lived, so knew the area well, just hope I can get FTF on Kahibah Creek 1 when/if it comes out to complete the series with all FTF's
