The muggles in this area just keep wrecking this cache. It's time to give up.

Is the container in the right tree? Was *I* in the right tree? Seemed very easy - and unfortunately the log was missing, but a few trinkets were still in there. The CO might want to check it out and replace the log if somebody else reports the same experience as me.

Found with Draw Four on a cool and windy night. This cache was our second on our 31 Days of Geocaching mission. What we first thought was a footy kicked up in the tree there was the cache in a nice hide spot. TFTC Big Grin

No muggles here tonight at 10pm on a slightly cold night. Using the torch on my i phone app I peered into this tree and found something that could be... Nice container and hide. Found with Wild Josh on our August caching mission. Tftc

I found the cache on the ground. The lid was ajar but all the contents seemed in tact. After signing the log, returned to a suitable location as per the hint. Used some para cord to help it stay in its position. Is still easily retrieved.

There I was just a walking down the street from my son's place and the GPS was pointing in another direction - to No 1 in this little challenge! Why was this so....oh I loaded the other one into the GPS!!! Oh well... good thing I looked closely at Google maps and the clues. A nice little challenge Smile. TFTC

I didn't manage to spot the cache, but decided my co-ords were pretty good and I would try this tree first. Once up and after a little looking around I spotted the container. A bit of a stretch and I was able to open it. Thanks for the cache.

#324 a nice place and a nice cache.

We left home and went to Oasis bakery to get some things for lunch, and I wanted to get come caches on the way back. Unfortunately, this was the only one I managed to find as there were too many juggles around the others. I came to GZ but couldn't see the cache. So my little sister helped me pick a tree and I climbed it. I eventually spotted it and soon had it in hand. Nice container for this hide. I signed the log and grabbed the TB to take to North Queensland. A nice little climb but not too hard. Climbed down and we took off home to have lunch.

Thanks for the cache Sharnedog123! TBs enjoyed their visit.

It seems this tree has been compromised as my replacement cache was muggled almost instantly. I will re think this one and replace shortly.

Climbed the suspected tree, covered in loose bark. No luck finding it, will be back in more light to hunt again!

Found it

Headed here after finding #1. The boys made quick work of climbing up the tree and made the retrival. Nearby soccer muggles took no notice of tree climbing children. Had it just been the mums, we would have been in trouble, it would have had to be a night time find. We all enjoyed the near by playground after the find. Well done on a very quick replacment of muggled cache. TFTC.

Went straight from 1 to 2 with Team KSBTJ. After feeling a bit weary, the invite to do 3 kid friendly caches was enough to get me out of the house and on the road. A very quick find for our monkeys. TFTC

Looks like this one has been muggled. I will try to replace it in the next few days.

02-Apr-13
After my first cache was muggled I have made a replacement theme based cache and placed it higher in the tree and it's no longer visible from the ground.

Couldn't even spot this one, climbed 2 trees (A gum and a pine) but couldn't spot anything up there either. Must be back another time. GAAAAH, didn't see the disable log.

A friend and I had just been enjoying day 3 out of 4 of a grand final for our Cricket club. The game was being played in Huntingdale, so whilst on our way home I made sure Mum took us to these three new tree caches Smile. I wasn't too sure what to expect from these caches but I did end up enjoying each and every one of them. Both Jack and I enjoyed the climbs, both of us completing the three climbs. This was the 2nd of 3 finds today.

This was probably my favourite climb out of the three. I enjoyed it very much, as well as the hide at the top.

Thanks again Sharnedog123, love these Big Grin

PS, sorry for such a late log (writing this on 28/8/13) but I guess its better late than never!

Found with Spiffy- and my Geokid. Not too much difficulty with this one, but still a clever hide. TFTC

Just before lunch on a Saturday and luckily no sport going on made for another fairly easy climb without the ladder which stayed in the boot.
Once again, we spotted it from the ground before climbing and made the find. What an apt cache for being in a tree. TFTC.

TDC met up on our Monday night cache run. This week we made our way from the city, where we picked up a couple of freshly solved puzzles, then we headed across to the north eastern outer suburbs. Bikes were a must tonight and we ended doing quite a number of kilometers on the bikes. Lucky for us the weather was fine, although it did get a bit cool at Mt Lofty.
A good mixed bag of caches tonight with a couple of DNF's, a good mix of finds with a number of high DxT combo's found as well. All in all another fun and successful night and thanks to the CO's for their efforts in placing the caches we found.

Well, another week and another legendary Demolition Crew run. I was able this time, to meet up early with some of the crew, north of Melbourne to collect a few caches before heading in and starting on the Melbourne leg of the finds. We collected a few of the recent puzzles which we had solved in the Melbourne area on the night as well. A FTF was part of the mix as well. We met a little later with Quasar3671.

The night was highlighted by many high terrain and high difficulty caches, which included 4 tree climb caches...! In total 48 caches visited, 4 DNF's and a personal tally of 41 finds. A great night with lots of laughs, stories and great company.

Another quick easy tree climb, but also a lot of fun. TFTC.

Found on another Monday night TDC run, We had no trouble climbing this one, We could see this one easily from the ground and we had it in hand in no time at all. Thanks for the cache.

18-Mar-13
The cache being clearly visible from the ground, Q3 climbed the short distance to pass the cache about for us to sign. Thanks.

Run Summary
----------------------
Now that all the hot weather is over, it was nice to have a cool night to cache in and around Melbourne with Blacklegend, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts. There have been a few caches close to Rebel Acts home that have been bugging him for a while, so I decided to base The Demolition Crew's run around these caches as well as pick up a few of our recently solved puzzle caches in inner Melbourne. I started my run north of Melbourne with Blacklegend, and when we noticed a FTF opportunity in Healesville that was still unfound a phone call was made and we were soon moving in that direction. We met up with Rebel Acts there as he had just finished work and we claimed the joint FTF. Soon after we then meeting up with Q3 after he had finished work and started the planned run

Over the course of the day/night run, 48 caches were visited with 4 DNF's and a DxT rating of 4.21 with quite a number of T5's being claimed. The number of unfound caches within 25 km's of home is now signficantly diminished, so another great night for me!

Thanks goes to all the CO's who have put the time into designing and placing their caches. I look forward to next Monday night / Tuesday morning when we will do it all again!

Found @ 23:20. I'd spoken with another cacher earlier in the day about tackling these unfound tree climbs and I was sure he said to meet at #3. Just before I arrived here (a bit later than I'd planned) I had a phone call from Spladem and sure enough I'd missed him. As I was so close anyway, up I went to make my mark in the book under his. I must have missed the other logs because I thought I was STF, but I see there are other electronic logs.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Sharnedog123.

*FTF* I was out and about and this was a close unfound cache on my radar.. The climb was quickly dispensed with and all that was left to do was to stamp the logbook.. Thanks Sharne dog 123.. a clever way to get a cache into an urban park.. I hope it lasts.. Thanks for the cache and my second FTF on a cache of yours..

Dipped FTF trackable..

Find 608 at 22:16. I was out on an evening caching run with Big Blank to clear out some of the caches that were still dotted around our map. In all we ended up with 7 finds for the night and this was find number 2.

This tree seemed slightly harder to climb than the last one in this series but the cache was ultimately easier to reach without going too high. The container made me smile. Smile Sadly, no FTF this time as Spladem had beaten us to it. Thanks for the cache, Sharnedog123!

Find number 258

Another very hot night meant that chasing caches had far more attraction than chasing sleep. Paired up with PantherX and set out to tidy up a few caches that had eluded earlier efforts or had appeared of late.

Quickly established where the cache was and with a little effort I hauled myself up into the tree. The cache was soon in hand and we both had a chuckle art the creativity. A second FTF was not to be as Spladem had been there earlier in the evening.

Thanks Sharnedog123
