23-Jun-24
Out and about with Cirrus_WA and ICNothing for a maintenance run day. Two good series along this stretch of coast!

23-Jun-24
Morning walk with the geokids and Monkeywand collecting a few caches this morning. All caches found in good condition.

23-Jun-24
Maintenance log:Date - 23/6/2024Time - 11:29Action - temporary replacement container in place.

17-Jan-24
Sadly another DNF for us, worked out the coords no probs but no luck at GZ. Good chance it may be a case of cache blindness on this one so will definitely come back and try another time...what a shame that we will have to come back to this gorgeous spot

30-Jul-23
Could not find this one sadly.

03-May-23
Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.

Now staying in East Rockingham for a few days. The plan was to head south and look for more of the Mandurah Giants. This time though we put the GeoBikes on the GeoCruiser.

Beautiful weather and the Giants are Amazing! Whilst we were on the bikes we managed to attempt a few caches along our ride. Razz

TFTC Tomthewizz Big Grin

09-Apr-23
Find 2 of 24 with 9 DNFs on a 40km bike ride taking in most of the peninsula south of Mandurah, starting at Santi Ikto, down to the Cut and back, then the last couple on a second 4km bike ride to see Little Lui, the giant.

Happy to avenge our previous DNF from ages ago here - 7 years ago in fact. The co-ords didn't look too promising but with a little bit of a backtrack and a lifting of skirts, the large cache was soon in hand. We don't remember DNFing here but guess the cache was really well buried back then.

TFTC Cirrus_WA!

TTW SEAVIEW SERIES II FINAL was transferred from Tomthewizz to user Cirrus_WA

28-Nov-22
There were a couple of muggles at the parking when I arrived but they cleared out not long after.
Took a few minutes to finally spot the cache and get my name on the log.
Got everything replaced and was heading up to the car as some more muggles pulled up.
Adding a favourite for a great series that I’ve enjoyed completing over a few days.

Thanks Tomthewizz for placing TTW SEAVIEW SERIES II FINAL for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 17:04 on 28/11/2022.
This is find number 6179 for me.

09-Nov-22
I was in the area again and so collected the rest of the clues (including those I didn’t even notice the first time).
When I was one letter short I surmised what that might be, and so had and idea of where the cache lies. When I got that last letter I confirmed I was on the right track.
At GZ I walked right past the cache to begin with. Then on my way back I payed closer attention and spotted something not quite right. I managed to get it out and confirm it was the cache. I discovered that a whole lot of ants had found the cache ahead of me and I had the brush them off to gain access to the log.

27-Aug-22
Doing a bunch of caches around south west Western Australia. TFTC.
Great series with each cache unique. I had all bit one today but had to relive my steps to get all the codes for this one. Couldn't even refind one but still managed to solve the puzzle.
Took a while to find the cache in the dark, and then wow. Yep. Very nice finale.

02-Jun-22
Even though we missed two of the feeder numbers we still had enough information to calculate the final. Thanks Tomthewizz for all your creativity in this series.

02-Jun-22
Thanks for placing this enjoyable series. Lots of creative containers in a scenic locations. I had done part of the series a few years ago so didn’t need to find them all today. Missed one of the numbers but had enough information to make something work. After bit of a search we located the very clever container

20-Mar-22
Wow cool cache. Such a well thought out and crafty series. Good parking at each cache and imaginative hides throughout. Have a Favourite Point for the series.
Thanks for the fun TTW Smile

05-Mar-22
DNF back in 2017. But found the awesome hide this time while still appreciating the thunderous surf. I'm very happy how. TFTC.

05-Oct-20
Headed down the coast today to pick up some caches and enjoy lunch in Mandurah. The vast majority of the caches found were by the same CO across 3 main series: **TTW SEAVIEW, TTW SEAVIEW SERIES II & TTW SERIES III**. Some excellent hides were found - reflected in the large number of fave point awarded! My thanks to the CO for the great entertainment Smile

Another series completed and another great bonus cache at the end! Again, a whole heap of very clever hides along the way... and the final was no exception. Arrived to find a couple of cars parked up with muggles sitting watching the ocean. Thankfully the placement of the cache meant I was lower than them and out of sight if I squatted down. To avoid looking like a weirdo I sat at GZ to take some 'arty' photos, while really I was searching for the cache, haha. After a poke here and there I spotted the prize... and dragged out something much larger than expected! Very happy to sign the log though Smile Continuing the subterfuge I stood up to take a few more photos before casually walking back to the car Smile A fave point here for sure. TFTC

Right where it should be
Thanks TTW

27-Nov-19
This was such a lovely walkway that I returned for bonus cache. Found all but one tradis 2 days ago but one missed didn't matter. Final was easy to locate anyway. Thanks for the nice series.

12-Nov-19
Found with tomicue. Extracting the log required a tool. Lucky we had something on hand. Happy to have signed the final log

12-Nov-19
A what a great series! alot of effort has been put into these hides.
Thanks

22-Sep-19
A day out in the sun shine collecting some caches with Barnzy12 TFTH.

22-Sep-19
Out and about today with Cravo10 on a trip to the Mandurah area. Started off a little later than planned with one of us sleeping in past the 6am meet time, eventually leaving at 630am.

We scooted down the freeway to Dawesville to start the geowitchzel series, which had some very tough hides and we ran at 50% finds and 50% dnfs, some good camo in this series and we managed to get a few years of unloved on a couple of them.

We worked our way back to Cockburn via some of the newly published caches and some solved puzzles and enjoyed a great day out.

Thanks to the local COs for their caches.

23-Jun-19
Im getting the hang of series finals now! Another enjoyable series - thank you

04-Apr-19
After picking up the feeder caches a little while ago, was back in the area and looking to grab this. Glad I didn't check the logs before arriving as they may have put me off. Cache is safe and well. A fave for the series and the nicely camo'd final. TFTC Tomthewizz.

15-Feb-19
This one may be missing? Couldn't find it ourselves (but mind you didn't look very hard!). Maybe suffering cache creep? Will check out further ASAP.
-TTW-

02-Sep-18
No luck. Will have to try again another day.

06-Aug-17
WOW, what a cool camo on this one and a fitting finale to a fantastic series [^]. Fave point for sure Cool

Smile After a few quiet weeks of cache finding we decided to head to this neck of the woods to grab some smiley faces Big Grin. We brought our geodog out with us and she had fun exploring while we were searching Smile. We followed our GPS and picked up a few solved puzzles in the area! A big thanks to Tomthewizz for placing this container out here for us to find [^].

Tomthewizz - jinta29 found your cache TTW SEAVIEW SERIES II FINAL on 6/8/17, 12:56 pm. This is my find #8273 and find #7 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for bringing us to this location and adding to the wonderful spirit of this game!

27-May-17
My coords took me to a likely spot and it fitted the hint nicely. No one around so early in the day so was able to have a good scout around unhindered. But sadly had to be content with the astounding sound and view of the surf crashing as there was no cache to start what was to be a bad caching day.

17-Apr-17
We arrived at gz hoping we were in the right place As we arrived at gz I pointed at the spot that eventually was the correct spot but went on to search another spot that my gps said was the spot. So after a few minutes searching Leega made the call. So log signed, cache returned and series complete. TFTC & S Tomthewizz. I really enjoyed this series.

17-Apr-17
Yay! After a bit of a search with axell33 and the geohound found the final. A good way to spend Easter Monday morning. The dark skies only threatened, but did keep the temperature down. This was a great series to do with some terrific caches to look for. Thoughoughly enjoyed the search. Thanks for sharing.

01-Jan-17
Out for a big day caching to start off the new year and try to beat our record for most finds in a day! We managed to beat our record and only had 4 DNF's for the whole day, go us. Had a great time exploring this area. awesome series, really enjoyed these finds today. TFTC SL

08-Nov-16
After getting the last numbers for the final couple days ago, I was in the area so decided to sign the log. Also dropped off a TB. Great stuff Tomthewizz, I will be looking forward to get started/continue on your next series.

26-May-16
TFTC and the series. Our second TTW series completed.

17-Apr-16
Went to replace this one today but lo and behold we found the original cache! How embarrassing (not being able to find our own cache)! Any way all still in place and ready for the next finder.
-TTW-.

30-Mar-16
Checked this one today and definitely seems to be gone. Will replace ASAP.

27-Mar-16
After finding the 8 caches in the series quite easily we came to a very plausible looking GZ which matched the hint and previous logs, but unfortunately came away empty handed. We found a few items that might indicate a muggling has taken place - i.e. torn up log sheets. We also took away a discarded stump which would make a good cache container so it wasn't all in vain! Maybe this one could be checked on if the CO is passing? Thanks for the series.

Tftc Cheers

12-Jul-15
After doing most of this series over a year ago (or maybe 2!), we final got to complete it, together with the final of the first series. We had to muster all our geocaching skills to do this one, because just as we parked the car some muggles decided to sit on the bench overlooking where we knew the cache was! Tying (or rather untying and retying) shoelaces, while 'groping' required a bit of skill, then it was down onto the beach to write in the log. Very surprised to see that it had only been logged twice in the last 13 months, but all is well - it is dry and in good condition. Another favourite for this series. Thanks for all the wonderful caches , now to finish more.

12-Apr-15
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name

12-Apr-15
Nice easy find. Quite disappointed that this lovely day of caching has come to an end. As you know the views are marvellous & the weather was kind to us, sunny with a refreshing sea breeze. Especially enjoyed B but you wI'll knot get us that easily. TFTC & the series. A fav for the series from us.

01-Jan-15
My first find for 2015. I had to revisit the first two hides of the series as I had misplaced the clues. Thanks for placing this series Tomthewizz. I enjoyed the amazing views and was lucky enough to have superb weather and few muggles. Parts I walked, parts I rode and the final was a drive. You are to be commended for your creativity and ingenuity in your hides. I enjoyed every one of them.
The container is damp inside from condensation I'd say. The snaplock bag wasn't closed so the new log feels damp too. It's not too bad and I've snapped it closed after airing it a bit in the heat. I've run out of favourite points, issuing them along the way but this series is certainly deserving. Thanks Tomthewizz, a great start to the new year.

02-Jun-14
Nice mild winters day with not much to do so decided to head off on the geobikes and check out our hides. Great to have geocaching an incentive to get out there and enjoy the outdoors. What a great coastline and environs we have! Unfortunately this one has been muggled as could not find it. Have re-established hide and updated clues above to reflect new location.
The "Tomthewizz" team.

15-May-14
Wow what a series! It had everything; lovely locations, great views and most importantly very clever and well made sneaky hides. Was an enjoyable day coming back and finishing off the series. A favourite from us, TFTC will have to come back to do your others! Smile

16-Jan-14
Another great day, caching in Mandurah suburbs.
We enjoyed this series with a good variety of hides.
Did the calculations, and headed off to GZ, where the cache was a quick find.
Worth a favourite point from us.
Left a trackable.
Thanks for the series, Tomthewizz.

10-Sep-13
Having a day's outing, caching in this area today with Everlasting. We completed all three of your TTW series today and thoroughly enjoyed both the very thoughtful and creative hides PLUS all the most scenic locations they took us too. It was a wonderful tour of the coastal areas of Mandurah.

This was found as darkness descended, but armed with torches it was an easy find.

Many thanks indeed, Tomthewizz!

This was a comparatively easy find. Great series- innovative caches but with hints that made them family friendly and findable. Will go back and give a couple of these a favourite- wish I had enough for all! Thanks so much for this series - we all loved them.

12-Aug-13
Found with Moonlghtz on a blustery night !!

Phone Torches were needed..

12-Aug-13
Found with wot on a dark, blustery night.
The cache was completely exposed, which made it easy to find. We signed the log and took the TB, then rehid it as best we could.
Thanks for the series! Now we need to get started on the original one.

Day 12 of our 31 days of Geocaching challenge is complete!

19-Jul-13

22-May-13
Out for a day of caching with my family... Mum found this one! TFTC and the series Tomthewizz Big Grin

22-May-13
After a little paperwork, and a little backtracking because someone had forgotten to save the clues from A & B of the series [:o)], we had the final co-ords plugged into the GPS'r. Once at GZ, the treasure was found rather quickly, and the boys were very excited to see a decent sized container Big Grin. They sat and perused it's contents, while i added our names to the logbook. We took the Dolphin TB, and left the Niki Lauder TB ... Thanks for another great series Tomthewizz [^]

19-May-13
So very happy to find this cache after a very long day trying to avoid the multitude of muggles and realizing that stealth isn't one our strong points. It was a fun day, Gypsy Roaming and I enjoyed your hides very much so of course a fave from me.

Took the TB coin and left TB Delphi to continue her journey

TFTC. Tomthewizz

19-May-13

Putting it back was another story. We enjoyed a lovely stroll along the beach, until the cache could be returned undetected. A great series with lots of clever caches. A fave for the series. Well done TFTC Tomthewizz.Big Grin

15-Mar-13
Yay we completed the series Smile TFTC!!

11-Mar-13
Well it took us a week to complete this series and we got 3 nice afternoon walks along the coastal paths. We are so lucky with the facilities we have along this area, so thanks for taking us out to enjoy them.

Again another great series of caches with well thought out hides and camos which made it a bonus to the walks. All the co-ords were pretty spot on as well

Had a quick find at GZ, signed the log and left one of our path tags and a Micro-Organism geocoin which I picked up in the USA recently.

Thanks for the cache and the series Tomthewizz [^] a favourite point for the series from us.

09-Mar-13
Yay, another smiley face here, and was rewarded with a geocoin too. Great series of hides - appreciate the effort that has been put into all of them. Thanks Tomthewizz

STF! Joint find with iluvtrekking after having to recalculate our numbers. Transcribed one number incorrectly but was able to work out our mistake without backtracking. Great series Tom so give your dad a big thanks from us for his input!!

03-Mar-13
Found with richlink to claim the 2nd prize.

Thank you Tomthewizz for a well planned and thought out multi/puzzle cache/s. Each hide a little different, not too hard and not too easy, a nice way to while away an hour or two on a fine autumn day.
A fav point from us.
