Very clever hide. Took awhile to figure it out. Resident was reversing out of their driveway as we were walking back to car and asked if we found it. TFTC
We found it! We weren't sure how much investigating we needed to do & we worried about causing damage but the logs helped us know we had found it! Thanks! The waterproofing might need an update but it was dry when we got to it
Found during a road trip around Central NSW. Enough hints in previous logs had me searching for something in particular. Eventually found the camouflaged cache but took a while to extract the log. TFTC
Bathurst Invasion by a group of Canberran cachers. We are signing as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 24). There are barb2e, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, DTY73, Tankengine, Youban, SmittenGranny, Contesta, Gliss! Domsky, Fitzy_1965, Minniek, and me. We all have been solving the puzzles ove the last few weeks in preparation. Plan for today is to start with Mt Panorama. Afterwards barb2e and I went around town visiting or revisiting caches that peaked our interest. Nice one! Travelling with a group from Canberra as part of a small invasion of Bathurst caches. Caches signed as CBI24 for Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024. Lots of fun solving the various puzzles and now looking forward to finding lots of caches. Tftc
Bathurst TripFound with Joolay, FurfacesLL, Gliss, contesta and the gang on a drive to Bathurst for a weekend of caching. Caches signed as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 24). Thanks for the hide shortydpg
Well a group of around fourteen of us from Canberra operating as C B I 24 are caching this area for the weekend and we loved the hide. Kute
I really enjoyed this cache and was thrilled we found it before nanna and pop came out. A clever bit of disguise indeed.Today, a group from Canberra (and some from surrounding areas) are in Bathurst for the next in our Invasion series. We were last here 4 years ago, but there are plenty more caches these days. This years group includes barb2e, Isopeda, Youban, DTY, Tankengine, Kittykatch, Joolay, GLISS!, domskys, FurfacesLL, TikvaNZ, minniek, fitzy_1965, Contesta and myself. All caches found were signed as CBI24 standing for Canberra Invasion of Bathurst in 2024. We had quite a long list of caches that we hoped to find over the weekend, and it is pleasing to note that most of us found all on our own list for today except one that looks as if it has fallen victim to The Winter Festival. After collecting a few in town, the main group concentrated on Peel Reserve in the morning, while others, including me, Youban, and barb2e, followed our own agendas. Huge thanks to all cache owners for the great hides and puzzles that I encountered today. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day, which has left me somewhat weary, so please excuse the generic logs. This was one of the caches that we found and signed.
Tankengine, Youban and I left Canberra just after lunchtime on Friday and drove straight to Bathurst. We had solved many of the puzzles or at least started the solves before coming. We were looking forward to finding many smilies this weekend and hanging out with our friends. We met up with our friends and signed caches as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024). The group included Fitzy_1965, Minniek, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, GLISS!, Tankengine, Youban, Contesta, Domsky, TikvaNZ, Isopeada, Barb2e, and SmittenGranny. We had an awesome dinner at the Kelso Hotel Bistro Friday night. And attended the ever changing event on Saturday night at The Reckless Brewery Co. Breakfast was at a couple of cafes that were all good and lunches wherever we could find it. Our little cabin at the NRMA Paramount caravan park, where there was just enough space for all three of us (just). We slept ok, but the leaky taps needed attention. We had an awesome time and would love another chance to visit Bathurst again another day. This cache: Very clever. Well done. And lovely chatting with you. Tftc!!!

Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying in Richmond we weren't sure where to go caching today. With lovely weather forecast we made the decision to drive towards Orange to collect some LGA's that we have not visited in our 10years travelling.Well we didn't hit the road till 10.30am and copped a mountain of roadworks before Lithgow. [xx(] We should have realised it was going to be a big ask. We kept pushing on. But we didn't return to our caravan till nearly 7.00pm and 430km later. TFTC shortydpg & Apsley168
Stood around for a bit then spotted something. We took no notice of it until we couldnt find anything else so inspected it further. Realised it was the geocache. Great hide!
We are in Bathurst with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506 for a few days caching and after spending the morning at the Mt Panorama Circuit doing the caches there we decided to head into town to tackle the caches there as well as do a couple of ad labs. With this many eyes looking you would have thought this would have been a nice quick find, but it still took a few minutes to locate the well hidden cache.Happily we added our stamp to the log book and returned every thing as found. To save room in the log books we are signing as The Mob.Many thanks shortydpg for the nice hide, a favourite point from us.Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Day 5 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today spent the day caching around Bathurst. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped at. A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save time and space. Many thanks for placing this cache, shortydpg, for us and others to find.
We are on a ten-day road trip from Sydney around the Central West. A short stop in Bathurst before heading to Orange for the night. This had us stumped for a little while. We did check the name plate on the front of this cute house to be sure we were in the right place. Then we put on our thinking caps and located an unlikely item which turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. We learned today that Bathurst has contributed a prime minister. We can think of another former prime minister that wouldnt be comfortable finding this geocache! A favourite for us just like so many other finders. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
#2,138Out this weekend with Calypso62 and Ash_Kate for some adventures.This was a great find.Nice cache container.TFTC.
So, here I am in the vicinity of GZ, trying to look all casual and feeling very self-conscious that there were eyes spying on me from behind the curtain ... when up drives a lovely couple and asks "are you geocaching?". We had a bit of a giggle ... they continued their drive to the back ... then Nanna came out and we had a wonderful conversation as I signed the log. Impressive container ... I'm loving it!I was going to ask Nanna what the fruit bearing tree was, but we were so caught up in conversation that I completely forgot. Love these beautiful, little houses of time-gone-by ... and a charming couple too!TNLNSL.TFTC ...
I have seen one of these before so had a good idea where the cache was as soon as I saw it. Thanks it's def worth another FP. A small group of red rumped parrots were grazing on the grass seeds nearby while I signed the log. They were oblivious to presence.
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY SEVEN: Peel and finishing off a few odds and ends in/around Bathurst. We met the COs lovely mum and I stopped for a chat while RH retrieved the very clever cache. Another fav point to add to your tally. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, shortydpg ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 7: Happy New Year everyone! Its our final full day in Bathurst so ticking off lots of unfinished business before we leave for Orange tomorrow.A clever hide here. I spotted the cache early on but discounted it after inspecting it further. We moved on to other items when the property owner arrived and spotted us. After a good chat we returned to the start and sure enough the cheeky thing was there. A favourite point for your effort! Thanks shortydpg for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! My strength lies within my muscles however it seems humanitys strength lies within their brain. Shortydpg & Apsley is a good indicator of this.
i walked upto here because i saw this cache had seventy five favourites. crikey, that's a few.i stood around a moment wondering just where this highly favourited cache might be, then i stood back and had a look at the hint. this certainly helped and not long later i was signing the slightly damp log.something a little different as a cache container. oddly never come across this specific type before. thanks for hiding a cache here. love the lavender.
Had me stumped for a little bit but someone in our geocacheing party was onto it so it was a simple enough find. A fun find and something Ive never seen before as well!
Love it. I initially assumed it would be closer to the road, but the obvious options there came up empty, so I redirected my efforts. I read a few logs before looking more closely, and when I spotted something it immediately clicked that this might be it... and it was!Snap lock bag needs replacing but I forgot my caching kit today, so had to leave it for someone else.TFTC! You get a favourite from me for creative thinking!
After sitting for a moment reread the description and clues and there it was
Well done

Heading to Orange with kiwisteve2 and EllenWA and had to stop for this one. Well done! I have one like this in NZ so it took me almost no time. This was the second cache for EllenWA. Gets another favorite point from me.

Very funny! And clever too.
Leaving a favourite point for it.
Check the house letter box for a little calling card/ thank you.
Found the cache guardian quite quickly but didn't wanna mess with people's stuff. After sifting through logs we came to realise my first thought was correct. Great idea, just not sure about finders being comfortable to touch other people's things.
This cache is sheer brilliance. I concentrated my efforts on the wrong thing for way too long, but eventually I used my brain and worked out what I really should have been concentrating on. The cache was found soon after. This is a great hide, simple but effective. Love it.
Travelling and caching with RoddyC to Canberra & Bathurst before returning home.
Our last day out caching before heading home. I remember this one from a few years ago. Log sheet was very wet so now have added a piece of stone paper.

Came back to correct aDNF with Geoson. This is one that has been bugging me since last time we were here.
Beauty!
It was the first thing we looked at then dismissed it. Only when we found nothing else did we give it a real good second look and found the log in its bag.
Unfortunately the log-paper was a mushy mess so we dried the bag and put in a new log strip. Hope that lasts a little while.
Thank you for the beaut cache. The lavender is lovely at the moment too.

Okay frustrating but brilliant. Our coordinates were off but excellent hide. Thanks for the great cache.
It’s a fave for sure.

A few days away in Orange, visits to wineries and some Geocaching. An ideal mix of activities for the Atalantas. On our way back we stopped in Bathurst and did some caching to stretch the legs.
This cache was first on our list and was quite ingenious. Well worth a favourite

Looked for a bit, feeling a bit stumped and also self conscious. Persisted at looking and the persistence (and curiosity) paid off!
Very clever hide and really enjoyed finding this one after a run of DNF elsewhere. TFTC!

Had a meeting get cancelled round the corner. Will need to come back with the kids. I hate these types of caches, mainly cause I’m worried someone is going to call the police on the big bearded man messing with their front garden.
After a wander through Winter festival decided to pass by and pick this one up. As it was just a tad icy I am glad we grabbed this one very quickly.
Me and my mate had fun finding this didn’t make sense at first but we found it in the end
Just the Sunday left and so much more caches around. Will try and pick a few and certainly tick off all the puzzle work I have done! Great caching in Bathurst.
