Looked for fake rocks but couldn't find it. Looked like the place was cleaned as there was a lot of fresh mulch.
I had posted this one as a found by accident. For some reason my GPS/old tablet had selected this cache instead of another that I had found recently in the area. Apologies for any confusion this may have created as I noticed there have been a number of DNF's on this recently. I will be back here in the next couple of days and will try to find. Fingers crossed I do but will post if it's a DNF, also.

Couldn't see it anywhere, felt really uncomfortable trying to find something in someone's front garden !! Was our first search though :p
Found on our Wednesday evening caching adventure after having fish and chips at Jawbone Reserve.
We had been here once before at dusk and the dog in the nearby house didn't stop barking, so decided to come back during the day.
We found the cache a few metres from the GPS coordinates and fortunately away from the barking dog. The cache was intact with its base secure and we were the first to sign the new log.

'Twas an afternoon caching run in Williamstown for manzie and I on a lovely summer's day After an extensive search around GZ, manzie's eagle eye spied what we were looking for, what appears to be a temporary log was signed and we were onto the next one. Strange, I also have a note that it needs maintenance because the base was missing?
#3rd of the day.
Something strange going on here I think.
I searched and searched around GZ.
Then decided to go back to the car, then I saw something that was worth investigating.
Not a fake rock.
But a cache.
18m away from posted co-ords.
Lots of names on extremely wet log sheet.
No baggy.
Which was supposedly replaced?
I'm confused.
But I left a bit of water proof paper.
Cheers & T.F.T.C!
Safe travels and hoppy caching =]
Found a while back now, will edit date.
Sorry for my delayed log, it has been in suspend in the old app which is soon retiring so have to get rid of all my old unlogged finds.

We have been away for a while, hence the maintenance taking a while. We placed a new log in a ziplock bag inside the cache yesterday. However the cache container was in fine condition with the base still attached, so not too sure what previous cachers were referring to - I hope it was our cache that was found!! In any case its all still fine to find now. Happy caching!
I looked for this one before a long time ago. Today I came back and like others found the container minus its base but with a sheet of paper which a few teams had signed. A bit damp but after the rain, lucky it wasn't wetter.
Cheers and needs maintenance

Found this and signed log supplied by previous cacher. Urgent maintenance needed!!
We did find it but the log is gone and so is the base of the container.
We signed a piece of paper and put it in. Needs maintenance.

A quick find of the container, but alas, the log book is no longer inside. May need some maintenance.
Took nothing, left nothing.

During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.
Another short late night trip to this area. Found the box broken on the walkway but as the logbook was still signable I placed my stamp and did my best in hiding the box again.

Twelfth find of the day. Had the geofamily drop me and the bike at the head of the trail on the way to visit the in-laws at Willie, so while they lunched, I cached .
After stopping for lunch in Altona, I followed the path round before deciding to take a short detour to find this cache and another nearby. I arrived at GZ and fortunately had the place to myself, without even seeing any mini-muggles nearby. A quick search revealed what I was after, the log was signed and I was on my way.
Thanks jacqsndave !

A little bit close to neighbours backyards for easy finding. But quickly found nonetheless.
We tried this cache over a year ago but at the time it was muggled. This trip was successful with a quick grab been between muggle walkers. The signing of the log was challenging as the log was moist and the wind was out of control. As we went to return the log the wind grabbed the page and it went high in the sky, lucky the log was moist as it dropped back down and landed on the fence!! So lucky it didn't blow over as it was the page we signed. Tftc tnln sl
No luck with this one, though was hampered by muggle kids about. May have to try this one again another day.
Feel like sabakitty and I were close on this one, but the only lead based on the hint would have had us looking a bit suss so we moved on.
Find 1248 at 16:56. I was out caching with Burge today and we were out to pick up some of the caches around Williamstown and beyond. All in all, I collected 11 on this beautiful sunny afternoon and this was find number 7.
We had visited this one on a couple of prior occasions and each time we couldn't make a find. Today we were not so unlucky and we soon had the cache in hand... that is until the wind nearly blew the log sheet over the nearby fence! We recovered it safely, though, and returned it to its hiding spot. Thanks for the cache, jacqsndave!

lovely sunny day! container and rock don't exactly go together though. Nice little park!!
Revisited this one today with xambo4u, and found I hadn't logged it when I was last here on 27.5.13, so am logging it today. Thanks jacqsndave
2.15 Out and about with Echidna44 for the day in the west. Nice easy find in a very nice housing estate. Container was exposed but now is covered it up
Thanks for the cache jacqsndave

This was a bit of a challenge to find and took a few minutes longer than expected. I was about to give up and then I thought no I'll try over there and there it was. Oddly enough the GPSr at this point decided it was going to be accurate and give me spot on co-ords. Thanks jacqsndave.
It was a pleasant evening for a caching adventure with Rebel Acts. We didn't get much time to get out tonight, but what we did get to do was productive. Finally got it once we had better co-ords.
Found with trailrunning on a pleasnant 7°c night not a big numbers night but we cleaned up afew good caches. Thanks jacqsndave for the cache.
A quick find while picking up a few caches in Williamstown. Cute but yappy dog nearby! Thanks for the cache.
It is school holidays and my wife headed off on a drive to Sydney with the kids to see relatives so I was free from late morning onwards and also still on work duties during the week. I sat on the couch for a little while waiting for the showers to stop but they didn't so I went out anyway. I ended up driving over to Williamstown and didn't have a drop of rain all day which is fantastic. When I arrived back home mid afternoon it was still wet...glad I didn't wait or I'd still be on the couch.
Starting my return journey home today I stopped in a nearby street and wandered over here to find muggles playing football but the GZ was still possible. After a few minutes searching the cache was found a little further away than I thought. Since the muggles were very nearby now I headed up the path the extract and sign the log. Lucky I did because the muggles went running through all the bushes with their football right where I had been. A minute or so later they dispersed so I quickly returned the hide and was on my way.
Thanks jacqnsdave for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Found with Pathfinder on a dark evening. We had been thinking to look for this one for a while and on my way home from work I called Pathfinder24 to see if he would help me look for it tonight, which he agreed to. I was the first to arrive in the area and tried some different angles to get to GZ before I found the best one. Pathfinder24 arrived well equiped with tourches and the search started. Looking around where our GPSs placed GZ did not result in any find but expanding our search a bit made Pathfinder24 locate the cache. It turned out to be a well camuflaged container and we were glad to have the hint to help us out. Thanks for the cache jacqsndave and to Pathfinder24 for joining me in the search .
Out with Sorceysal today doing some of the Williamstown area. A lovely area and my how Williamstown is growing. I used to live here as a kid and it was very different back then. Took us a little while to find this one but with some help from the hint we had it logged and back in the car we went. Thanks jacqsndave
A day out in Willy and surrounds with Dutch Frangipani to grab a few smileys. Resorted to the clue on this one but still had to fossick to find the cache. Eventually found and signed. Nice area with lots of lovely homes.

I too used the alternate coords after an initial foray at the posted ones got me nowhere. The alternates were still a little out for me but are much closer than the posted. A nice park with all those faux-Victorian and Edwardian houses.

Found 08:10, after a short detour on my way to work. An easy find today using the co-ords provided by gmj3191 et. al. I can now see why my first visit ended in failure as this area was well away from my search area as determined by the posted co-ords.

Eventually found this one at 11m distance from where the coords said it should be, so I have listed the coordinates where I found it. Fortunately didn't have any interruptions while crawling around looking a bit sus in the bushes.

Came out on a caching bender to the Jawbone area and started with this hide. It was a happily isolated spot that made for safe searching and the tell tale sign was spotted after a few minutes. Had a bit of a struggle getting the log sheet out but soon had it signed and replaced and was on my way. Thanks for bringing me here to this wonderful area.

Found by Mary & David at 1530. Arrived at GZ after a short walk. Had to search in bursts, stopping occasionally as muggle school kids ambled past on their way home. Finally spotted our quarry about 11m from our indicated GZ. Our thanks to jacqsndave.
I wish I had my grandgeokids with me to hunt this cache up. Its difficult for a 2m, 115kg, 58 year old man to scramble around on hands and knees to find the elusive hidden treasure. But persistence won out and after 10 minutes I decided to read the hint to try and discover where the little bugger was! 30 seconds later success, tftc jacqsndave.
A great Sunday morning to go venture out with my two boys Tyler and Cooper to pick up a few caches around the Williamstown area. Our last find for the day before heading back home. Quite a few DNF's on this one but didn't notice that until logging the find.
Once at GZ we started the hunt and kept looking about under the trees and bushes, maybe buried under the mulch. Expanded the search area and - that looks like a familiar hide, cache found and log signed. Tricky to spot and found about 10m from where my GPS had GZ.
Thanks for the hide.

# 5712. Robmc and I were riding back from Altona when I suggested we detour slightly to have another look for this one. We have been watching it for a while now. Didn't have GPSs with us but did have the iPhone which was of course nowhere near GZ when Rob finally had the cache to hand. Nice one. I can see why people are having difficulty but it sure is good to get this one under the belt. A smilie at last - oh yeah!!
Thanks jacqsndave
Thanks jacqsndave
We had looked here before (no DNF! sorry about that, but we figured we would be back soon - didn't happen!)
On out way home on the deadly treadlies today and we decided to take the trail along the coast. BB suggested we drop in to have a look for this cache. Neither of us had a GPSr, but we figured we should remember the rough area. I rode right past it - so much for my memory, but BB recognized the place.
Crawled into the bushes trying to miss most of the broken glass (why do people do that?). Saw a suspicious looking object, that was it.
Not sure how we missed it last time.
An interesting construction.
Thanks, Robmc.

We had a good scratch around , apart from demolishing the whole lot couldn't find today.
I decided to give this cache a new go, but after an extensive look, still could not find it. I was sooking on the way home when 6hinemoa2 rang, knowing I was still smarting from my last abortive try, so, despite my better judgement I went into the verdent, jungle like vegetation again seeking this aledged cache for the third time, looking with fervour, vigor, and discombobulation around 5 metres to the right of GZ according to my GPS ( 6hinemoa2's suggestion.) After much fart-arsing around ( a well known geocaching term meaning an extensive search when you don't have Buckley's chance and you may as well whistle dixie. ). When the dust had settled & the conniption had finished,I was still very bereft of a cache. I will, in future, stick with a pie with dodger & dead horse..... sticks & stones are off the menu. Thank you anyway jacqsndave for the gardening & scouting practice, the beer, later on, will taste bonza. This cache 3, mudbrick 0.
Tried again early today with better success. Must have had my geo eyed switched on.

Had a good scrounge but did not want to damage the shrubery, that is an awful lot of DNF's now jacqsndave.
Junior found this after a good hunt about and hint from the owner. Happy to log this one it was tricky. Tftc
After a few DNFs went and checked the cache. Its still there and in good condition. Coordinates according to my GPS are at most 1m out, but seems spot on most times. Will look into changing the clue as it seems to be difficult for a few. Happy hunting
We came again last night and had a good search in the area of GZ to reveal nothing. Opted for the PAF option, and realised that the cache is more than likely been muggled. Given the the number of DNF's I suggest the cache owner perform maintenance on this cache to confirm it is still there, and confirm the co-ordinates are accurate. Thanks.
