This has been disabled for far too long and it's looking unrealistic that we are going to revive it. Thanks to all who have found it!
We're thinking this one is gone and haven't quite decided what to do about it yet!
We found it where it should be by the help of someone who had found it before. We found the thing attached with string but there was nothing on it. So we think it must have fallen off.
Enjoyed a nice paddle from Deep Creek Reserve. Easily spotted the horizontal tree but had no luck locating the cache. Found something that looked promising as outer cammo but nothing inside. Hope it hasn't gone missing. TFTH
This was disabled by mistake. The log appears to be wet, but it seems that the cache is still there.
Looks like this one's gone. Not sure when we'll next have a chance to check on it, but will ASAP.
We realised there was a much easier route when we found the cache, but our adventure there was regardless and we had a long afterwards. It is completely soaked though, and needs a clean out and a brand new log. Tftc!
Easily spotted but log is very soggy - didn't try to open it to leave date.
Four of us paddle boarded over with no gps but the clue made it a easy find. It is soaked through. Great place for a cache though. Lots of fun! Thanks
An hour out and back by swimming and a horrendous bush bash across the island. I should have walked around!?!
To top it of I failed to make the find.
I shall return with my kayak!?!

I shall return with my kayak!?!
Given that gilesparnell said "Found It!" in their log, and that the cache was subsequently found by Meesh7, we're thinking (hoping?) that Needs Maintenance was selected by mistake. So we're performing Owner Maintenance by Proxy (or something like that!). If maintenance is actually required, we're assuming that the next finder will let us know.

On our trip trough Australia with the hole family we looked also for some caches. They often showed us places we would never had discovered. Thanks a lot to the all the people who care about this lovely hobby .
Cool and nice swim. I like these sort of caches .
As I saw, we missed the Cito the day bevor, what a pity [B)].
The cache was not in the water as it sais. I put it back the same way.

(Got a few old logs to catch up on!). Rode out here on the front of Dad's kayak in the middle of the Clean Up Australia CITO day. It was an easy find with thanks to Dad & bella@waggy.
Down for the clean event and digby dig the hard work supplying canoe etc and preparing it beforehand for a nice quick find. Tftc tempted to bring it back for clean up Australia Day.
Found during the CITO of Sanctuary Island with GeokidAdventure and the bella@waggy crew. We actually said "What would the Zargfinders do here?" and we were right. A great CAMO job. So far ahead of anyone else in this area in cache building. Love the effort they have gone to with each and every cache. A favourite from me.
We had come for the CITO and given we had kayaks and were in the lake of course we had to headed over. The team today had 2 double yaks so we arrived with Ginger, Mary Ann and a friend. We meet Birdman and GeoKidAdventure and we all CITO'd in the direction of GZ. We saw the likely location and started to search when Birdman said were would Zargfinders hide it and then he made the find. We completed the signing duties, did some more CITO and continued on to I Dream of Jeannie. TFTC

Found at 11:31am with JordsAU.
We were in Narrabeen attending the CITO for National Clean Up Australia Day. It was a beautiful hot and sunny morning (37 degrees as it turns out). We arrived a little later than we would've liked but we still managed to squeeze in the caches we wanted to tick off.
After picking up a fair amount of litter on the foreshore, we made our way over in a 2-seater kayak to Gilligan's Island. I looked out for the Skipper but he was nowhere to be seen this morning. Upon our arrival to the island we hopped out of our miniature vessel and began our search for the cache which was spotted straight away. We were also greeted there by Paul_the_Hippy and Digby23.
I managed to prick myself when reaching into retrieve the cache, with a rather sharp spike sticking out from the tree. Given that an ambulance was not necessary we carried on our way after signing the log.
Enjoyed the container, thanks for the cache zargfinders

Found with Jase90 at 11:31 AM during the nearby Clean Up Australia Day 2015 CITO at Narrabeen Lake. For the Clean Up Australia Day 2015 CITO at Narrabeen Lake, Jase90 and I drove over to Narrabeen Lakes and found a free parking spot down one of the side streets. Lugging our gear, including my inflatable kayak, over to the meeting location, we met up with zargfinders who were manning the home base. They offered us their two seater kayak instead so Jase90 and I set out to collect as much rubbish as we could around the foreshore of the mainland. It is sad how much rubbish there actually was scattered around the place (an abundance of small bits of plastic, and also bottles, cans and other items). I love Cache In Trash Out Events over the regular event cache types because of the sense of achievement and feeling that you are making a difference in the community. After cleaning up for a while, we dropped our bags of rubbish back at the home base and headed out again to the two nearby island to try and find the Gilligan's Island and I Dream of Jeannie traditional caches. After making the finds, we paddled back to base and chatted to our fellow CITO'ers for a while before heading off to grab some lunch and some more caches on our shortlist before the storms were due to roll in. Thanks For yet another great Cache In Trash Out Event Cache and for this Cache zargfinders!
I started from a tropic port aboard my tiny ship doing a CITO event with the zargfinders. The weather wasn't very rough but my tiny ship was tossed a bit with Paul the hippie on board, but with courage from the fearless crew we set ground on the shore of this well chartered desert isle and managed to find what we were searching for. great little hide - thanks zargsters for a fun end to cache in trash out.

One word to describe this cache: and that is WOW.
Finally receiving some sunshine whilst on our camping trip we decided to make the most of it by paddling on the kayak out on the lake.
After some hard going making my way to I Dream a Jeannie i wasnt too sure if i had enough steam to make it to this island. However, i powered through and i am so thankful that i did. After pulling up a bit short of GZ and discovering i was nowhere near i paddled a bit further around to find the fallen palm. Pulling the kayak into shore i took in the incredible aesthetics of the GZ and went on to find the cache. I was very impressed by the camo as at first glance it had deceived me but after a second check i had CIH.
The cache in itself wasnt difficult to find but the overall GZ was impressive. It was a brilliant way to spend this lovely day in Narrabeen. Thank you for placing this cache i really enjoyed the experience.

We woke this morning to a perfect Summer's day, so decided it was the ideal opportunity to investigate the two island caches in Narrabeen Lakes. Packed all of the caching gear into plastic bags and then into a waterproof box, just in case.
Parked the geomobile in Devitt Street and walked around to ProKayaks and hired a couple of 2 seater Kayaks to transport the four of us to the island. Not quite the S.S.Minnow on a 3 hour tour, but it would have to do.
No storms on our tour and we arrived safely on the island without incident, beaching our vessels right at GZ. We quickly located the cache, signed the log sheet and re-installed it back into it's nicely camouflaged environment. Cache is in good shape. Took a few photos and then realised we would have to hurry if we wanted to also visit "Jeannie's" island before our Kayak return time.
Thanks zargfinders for giving us an excuse to visit these islands, and for the cache.

Recently bought another kayak, so for it's maiden voyage we decided to come to Narrabeen Lake. I knew there were a couple of geocaches on the islands here, so I decided to honour the new kayak's first outing with a find. We launched from Wimbledon Reserve and made our way around Gilligan's Island, under the bridge and stopped for lunch on a little beach close to the shops. Then we scouted Jeannie's Island before making our way back to Gilligan. However once we approached GZ there was a muggle sleeping right next to the horizontal palm, and then another couple of kayaks joined us on the beach close by.
So while we waited for the crowd to clear, geoson and I went for a swim and built some sandcastles, and eventually the muggles left so we started the search. As usual I overcomplicated the search, then resorted to the hint and made the find quickly after that. What fantastic camo, well done! Just after I signed the log (looks like some bogan muggle did too, previously) I noticed another muggle leave his spot nearby with his dog and take off on his SUP. He was very friendly and allowed me to take a photo, which he asked me kindly to send to him, and I gladly did straight away. As requested by CO, I did CITO taking away a bag full of bottles, cans, broken glass and plastic wrappers. Then to top off the adventure when we came back to the kayak, there was a bush turkey inspecting our new toy, it made a hasty retreat back into the bush when we approached. We will leave Jeannie for another day of adventure. Thank you zargfinders for placing this cache in this nice spot. TNLNSL TFTC.

Ahh, another good Zargfinders cache - always worth a look!! Went for a kayak (plus a very nice lunch at the cafe 200m to the east of the island) and had to have a go at this one. Usual very high standard of Zarg-o-flage !! TFTF SL TN but left a Sydney Monorail token and a 10 Kroner coin from Denmark.
Geodaughter and I initially planned to swim - but the early morning breeze and length of swim required meant we changed our plans and hired a kayak. This turned out to be a great idea and we had a lot of fun on the water.
I mucked around a bit at GZ, ignoring where the GPSr was pointing me. When I eventually obeyed I found a well camoed cache. I replaced the log as requested - it is not an official log paper but is in mint condition and in a ziplock bag.
After the cache we considered going onto I Dream of Jeanie but instead settled on exploring the 3rd tiny island to the east - my daughter christened it after herself! Maybe you could go for the triple and put Get Smart on this island?
TFTC Zargfinders - a favourtie from us.

If someone reads this log before heading out to visit Gilligan, could you please bring along a new micro sized log sheet (and dispose of the old one)? Not sure when we'll next be kayaking there as we've already gone twice in the past month. Thanks!
#1 for me,easy find nice camo, log needs replacing only room for 1 more entry and its in tatters
21/09/14. 7:40 AM. Cache #1857. Streak Day #91. Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a caching trip. That started up from Narrabeen and I did it with no ship.
This was the 1st of 5 finds today, following a DNF at "I Dream of Jeannie". Similar to that last cache, no one has logged a visit to this cache in the past six months - and again this was not surprising as it has only just started warming up in the last week or two. However my DNF at Jeannie had me worried - if it's been so long since last finder, am I setting myself up for another wasted swim here? Oh well, who dares wins.
I parked near Wimbledon Reserve and got ready for another swim - this time the distance looked a little longer. I hit the water after waiting for a pair of stand-up paddle boarding muggles to pass by. I took the same approach as with Jeannie: with my iPhone, car keys and pens packed in a snap-lock bag in one hand, I sidestroked with the other hand once the water was deep enough. I knew what to expect with the water temperature this time. Before too long, I was stepping onto Gilligan's island and it looked like the quickest way to the cache was via tracks across the island.
Wrong - this was not the best way to come. The trails narrowed too quickly and got quite scratched up from the lantana which has gone wild on the island. Nothing a flame thrower wouldn't fix. Better way would be to wade around the island, which is how I returned later.
Getting to GZ, it took me a few minutes to find the cache but I was relieved that this swim was rewarded with a smiley. Signed and returned it, swam back to the car, and dry clothes for the rest of the caches. Next one was "Enchanted forest". TFTC and for the adventure - fave point worthy. Shame I wasn't able to make it to the CITO here earlier in the year; sounds like it was a hoot. }:)

Nice cache in a great location. Everything wet inside cache so dried papers for an hour. Still a bit damp but was able to write my name on it. Suggest next cacher does the same .......about 20mins. in the sun will be ample. Thanks zargfinders !
We found this cache after paddling up from I dream of Jeannie. After arriving at GZ we had to have a swim and cool off while waiting for fellow kayak and paddle boarders to finish their cooling off. Once clear the cache was soon in hand. Log is damp, signed as best we could. Tftc
Cool! Finally found this one today whilst attending the CITO with CJ.
We the generous assistance of Scoddule and family, CJ and I we able to paddle over to Gilligan's Island for some CITO. Wow, there was a lot of rubbish at our landing point. We hauled out several bags despite the inclement weather. Afterwards on the way back we were able to get to the GZ and land to find the cache.
It took a few minutes, but with team Scoddule's help CJ was able to spot something fishy. I managed to get in to retrieve the cache. The cache coords and hint were excellent. Even a pencil in the container so that we could sign, as we forgot to bring a pen.
It was a really wet afternoon to chase down this long targeted cache. We were soaked through, but it was great fun. Thanks zargfinders for another of your clever caches. SL TNLN TFTC

Here today for the zargfinders Clean Up Australia day CITO event. After picking up lots of bottles, cans and other trash on the 'Jeannie's' island, we paddled back over to Gilligan's to find this geocache. The group picked up lots of trash today but there's still a lot left and it's very disappointing to realise how irresponsible some people are about taking their garbage with them. Anyway, this cache is hidden in an unusual place and matches the theme of its name. Cute! SL TFTC Cheers.. Gaztek
This has been on our list for a long time and since we got a kayak we had no excuses for not coming here, but it took the zargfinder's Clean Up Australia Day - CITO at Narrabeen Lake event to finally bring us to this island. Great day for it, too!

Found on our way back from the CITO event today. Sadly, lots of garbage here on the island, which we and others did our best to remedy today with the CITO event. The rain was appropriate for doing this cache today, actually...I imagined the pre-storm conditions for the passengers of the Minnow, just going for a "3 hour tour" in the TV show. Thankfully, it didn't rain too hard today and, unlike Gilligan and friends, we were not stuck on the island. Thanks, Scoddule and family for providing kayak transportation. Nice to meet you! Thanks for another great cache, Zargfinders.
While we were on the island for the zargfinders Clean Up Australia day CITO event, we took some time out to get the log signed for us. Not sure how many bags of rubbish were taken off the island, but it looked a lot better than when we first arrived. TFTC
A bit of a wobbly trip across, but once on the island found the cache quickly.
Thanks zargfinders!
Thanks zargfinders!
Great fun to dig the old inflatable boat out and paddle over to the cache with the family. After a bit of searching it was found. TFTC, off to find Jeannie
Hired a stand-up paddle board and paddled over to GZ. We figured out what the clue meant and continued searching where we were sure the cache is but still couldn't find it even though the tide was in our favour. Oh well, better luck next time.

All in order. This may be our last one for 2013. What a beautiful day for Paddle Boarding and have the plus of a cache. As always, Zargfinders don't stop amazing us. TFTC. Best Wishes for 2014 !
Came here on a beautfully sunny day kayaking with Oomara and 4 GeoKids spread across 3 double kayaks. There were so many muggles around on the latest trend - stand-up paddle boards. Had to coach the youngest kid to not show too much excitement in the hunt
Reckon I should be able to log this as another find as the container had changed

Thanks for the cache. Been meaning to find a way to get to it for a while now. Was out paddle boarding with Ms 10 Year Old Geocacher and after a bit of looking around found it. I looked right at it a few times... then clued in to the cache and camo.
We hired a kayak from the Narrabeen boat shed and had an enjoyable paddle to the island. After landing on an adjacent little beach we found the old cache first, then after some search I spotted the new one (it was in it's right spot). As usual with this CO we admired the handiwork and an innovative approach, SL and replaced the cache. TFTC zargfinders!
After having picked up our new kayak in Mona Vale, we had to try it out. Launched the kayak at Berry Reserve and headed out to the island. We found the old cache first, but after a short search also the new one.
I've been meaning to do this one for months! Had a nice paddle around Narrabeen lake - in part looking for new geocache spots. I found both the new and the old caches here. That's a new feature that could catch on! Multiple hides per location. TFTC!
A trip to Jamison park to grab a stand up board and a paddle boat and we were off. First to 'I Dream of Jeannie' then stopped by Gilligan's Island on the way back.
Geoboy 1 found the old cache container pretty quickly but it took geodad to find the proper hide.
Thanks Zargfinders.

What a wonderful place to go for a paddle. I launched from Wimbledon Reserve, and this is a little hidden treasure as well. The ducks were plentiful and came as soon as you approached the water. Nothing like opportunists! Gilligans Island wasn't too hard to spot it was right in front of my launching area. I paddled out and soon found myself on the other side. The lake was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful on such a gorgeous day. I soon spied Gilligan's palm trees and had to make sure the nearby paddleboarders and other kayakers did not steal my beach. I beat them all and made my landing. I approached GZ and spied this novel hide straight away. Well done! This is another ripper of a concealment, and put a big smile on my face. I completed the caching business and signed the nice clean log sheet. After returning the cache, I thought I'd have a go at trying to find the old cache seeing it was still supposedly there. Well there you go .... still there in plain view...... I found it right side up, mixed in with all the other detrius..... and on closer inspection I had to have a good chuckle at its camo. Gilligan would certainly be pleased. I opened it to find it clean as a whistle. The occupants have moved out. Must have had a short term lease! In fact there is nothing wrong with this cache now, except the camo is very soggy but a few hours in the sun would dry it out. I wedged it under the tree so it wouldn't float away as where I found it it would have most likely floated out to sea. It's waiting for you to reuse if you want. Shame to see such a clever cache abandoned. I'd spent quite some time at GZ with this unusual palm tree..... Gilligan invited me to stay longer but I had promised Jeannie a visit. Another unique cache by the master concealers. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
NB. Gilligans Island is one of my favourite shows.... I still know the theme song off by heart.

So... went to check on the cache, and found it easily, in the water. Picked it up and it stunk to high heavens. Lots of seaweed etc. was growing on it and a crab family was living inside. Cleaned out the wet contents but the cache is in no shape to remain the cache, and because of the life growing in and on it, we decided to leave this home for the crabs there. So this cache is still there, under the horizontal palm, so if you find it and nothing is inside, that is why -- it's the old cache.
Anyways, we brought along a new cache with a different camo and have replaced the cache, securing it better this time so it will not end up in the water (I hope).
Cache on, come and get it.

Sounds like it's probably gone so will disable for now. Not sure when we're going to be able to get around to checking and/or replacing because it is winter - could be September or October.
Kayaked out here on a warm winters day, without a GPS (we forgot to put batteries in!) but with a Geocash TB that we hoped might fit.
However after finding the palms (there are only these ones on the island) and wading through the too cold to be pleasant water we couldn't find the cache. We are almoste certain of where the cache should be and what it is but with the new location (in the water) we couldn't find the cache.
We did however find a car seat and a lot of other trash, not the nicest place. The water was also very murky so maybe the cache has sunk?
Thanks zargfinders for the hunt.

Thanks Grahame Cookie for letting us know the cache is now IN the water.
I have changed the hint, Description and am now adding this note accordingly, and when the cache is fixed I will delete these.
The cache is now IN the water, as I said, and if anyone finds it before we next go paddling at Narrabeen lake, we would really be appreciative if you could replace it back where it is meant to be - in the horizontal palm's head.
The cache is still findable, but we'd prefer if it was in the original spot.
Thanks so much.

Shame there isn't a CITO attribute icon, or maybe a Terrain 4 or 5 CITO Event could be held to help tidy up (at least temporarily) this nice spot. After scouting around for about half an hour, and grabbing an armful of glass bottles it was on obviously the circuit of GZ that Cookie noticed something in the water behind him. Sure enough, something well engineered; as the log sheet was still dry.
Not having the cache page with us we thought we must have misunderstood the additional hint, and place it back where it was.
TNLN (well, from the cache). TFTC zargfinders (one more canoeing cache down, 4 to go!)

1620 GAFF1 Persistence paid off!
While coming down to Sydney to get a few caches you have to canoe to I thought I would check out what other ones I had missed on a GSAK search, and while I was heading South from Barrenjoey with MVMtBiker this one called my name
Very windy as we set out, and there was a fisherman in his craft drifting by very fast.
soon found the palm, but no sign of the cache. Did the CITO thing and collected 4 glass bottles each to put in the canoes, then researched the area again and again. Finally found it, but on looking at the hint am wondering if where we found it is not where it is supposed to be!
TNLN but, Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, Aust Light Houses, B 2 B ingot, I Bashed at MidWest 2007, Iconic Bridges, Just Monkeying Around Oz, Little Moo, Trackabulldog, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, and trackable shirt.

I was fishing at Narrabeen lake and my kids found this by accident.
Thanks for the Cache, made not caching any fish worthwhile anyway.

Like Chudles before me, I swam to the island (wearing reef shoes). Traversed to the cache, nice camo again, opened it up and then.... No pencil!
So it was back across the island, swim to the park, and grab a pencil from the car.
Then back in the water for the 3rd time, across the island, and to the cache. SL TFTC. I left the pencil in there for anyone who is silly like me and doesn't take a pen/pencil with them.
Now for the final swim back again....

I converted this into a triathlon cache: ride down the Parkway from home, swim across the channel, then a FTF victory dance at GZ (And yes, I really did do the dance!)
As per usual, a well constructed 'surely that can't be it' kind of hide.
An excellent use of a sunny lunchtime break.
