After having collected most of the series themed by the NRL, we finally got on#1. Note for future finders: cache is now under a rock not a stump. There is a stump nearby though. Thanks Sol de lune . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to Traditional Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
I saw the NRL series and decided to spend the morning walking around this area collected as many caches as I could. I ended up doing the nrl series backwards, but I found all the caches I set out to find. Overall a very successful morning!! Tftc
Good to turn a past frown upside-down with this smiley now its reinstated and we are rambling around Narrabundah Hill again today. TFTC Sol de Lune!
Ahhh the mighty Bunnies…what the hell happened to them in 2023?! Just about premiership favs midway through the year and then it all fell apart.
Looking forward to seeing what Jacko can do their next year. Geez I hope he gets the opportunity to play alongside Latrell although I’m rather concerned the latter might just throw the towel in.
Found with Baristayan on a glorious Sunday morning. Took us about 15 minutes and she unearthed it just as we were about to throw in the towel. Glory glory…thanks!

This took some effort
We searched everywhere and when we said let’s call it a DNF I kicked something and the cache appeared.
If the cache hint was in the shape of a viral yucky video it would be called “two stones one stump”

#4163 With some recent maintenance done it was my time to return and avenge a DNF.
The adjustments and new coordinates were perfect and I swiftly located the cache neatly tucked away.
Great to find this nice new container and fresh logbook.
May it live long in its new location.
Thanks Sol de lune for placing and maintaining this cache.

Coordinates changed from:
S 35° 20.491 E 149° 1.419
Coordinates changed to:
S 35° 20.476 E 149° 1.428
Distance from original: 101.6 feet or 31.0 meters.
A slight move to get it away from the bike trail that has been made...I'm sure by some local kids. Hint has changed as well.

In town for a few days and the cache has been replaced, so all good to go again.
A new bike track....doesn't sound good. Will check in a couple of weeks when I'm there.
Have a feeling this has been muggled, signs of someone making a bike track around the whole area ..
No sight of it today, have to try again.

Found the cache but after all the recent rain it is quite wet inside. The log book is wet too so we didn't sign it. TFTC
It looks like Muggles found this one and left it open and exposed … container was full of water and contents were slimy. You might want to replace your notebook and pen. Thanks for the geocache!!
Decided on a cache hunt after work. Found all the NRL teams, however there is one missing. Poor Newcastle.
A nice fast find on this one, very different to some of the tricky one we tackled with others earlier tonight. Thanks for the cache to add to the collection.
Raiders supporter says I HATE THE RABBITOHS EVEN MORE THAN I HATE THE ROOSTERS
A quick find while out for a nice walk. The container was uncovered and really obvious. The last two logs are from muggles. I hid it a bit better under a SPOS. TFTH
Great day for a walk so headed out to this series for a maintenance run....
This first one was all good thanks to Justforfun4444 who kindly replaced the old wet log book when they found the cache in early August. Didn't need any other work on it, so thanks to again to Justforfun for looking after it.
Should be good for another 8 years or so.....cache on.

Went for a walk around Narrabundah Hill, and decided to grab a few caches along the way. TFTC
Found on a nice family walk fitting our day's exercise break from lockdown. In good condition with plenty of room for swaps. Tftc
Found!! Book is now papier-mache and unreadable. Box has a crack in the corner which is letting water in. We replaced book, now inside ziplock bag, wiped it out and tried to clean it up best as possible. Hopefully good for a few more years.
Found, log absolutely needs to be replaced though. I've replaced the zip lock bag for the moment.
Log was soaking wet and impossible to sign. Found with sophiescout and Aussiepuschaks this morning. TFTC
A nice quick find but the log was too wet to sign, Aussiepuschaks and I used our stamps but Jemalong&family could not sign with a pen as not only the log but also the contents were wet and growing mold. Liked the size of the cache though and a very nice place TFTC
Out for some caches today and decided to hit this section of Canberra, full circuit was 7Km with easy walking. The log was totally soaked and I was unable to sign the log
I headed this way to go for an exercise walk and to grab this cache. I parked and entered the reserve. On my way I noticed that there were lots of fungal fruiting bodies, including fly agarics, saffron milk caps and boletes. Once at GZ I spotted the hide and had CIH. There was water in the container and the log was soaked, it should be replaced. I emptied out the container and left the log open on a rock and took a few photos of the fungi nearby. I was able to sign with a water-proof pen before replacing all. On my return I saw some of the cattle grazing and also a flock of red-browed finches. I walked 4.9km. TFTC.
Found during a lovely Valentine's Day walk. Unfortunately the cache lid was open and it was completely waterlogged. Log book ruined.
So disappointing - the cache was in a fantastic location but by the time I got there the log was ruined by rain.
Contents were discarded so I tried to salvage what I could - it was an epic cache though. Tftc

This is a great area to walk with the dog. I had always reserved it as such (well we have cachwd here before in 2012) and when this winter Wilma felt good and Hoppy as always keen for a walk we set off despite the cold weather. We came in three tranches before we had finally walked all path in this area. Good walks and nice caching.
This was our second walk and this time we made a real dent into the cache trails around here. (Still had to adjust my expectations half way through but they weren't quite realistic)
Again the sun was out and it looked rather nice outside but we came prepared this time with proper clothes and when the weather turned on us we were fine and could still go on. Hoppy loves it out here.
Thank you Sol de lune for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Nice series a fav point from me.
Cache in good condition.
Found with Kittykatch and barb2e on a cold and windy day out enjoying the sunshine. Great day for a walk. TFTC Sol de Lune
