Find # 14465Out on a big drive, picking up odd caches in out of the way places, driving in some awesome bush areas and the odd walk to keep the legs moving. From home, it was then Bendigo, Toolleen, Heathcote, Lancefield, Baynton, Redesdale, Sedgwick, Mandurang (centre of Vic) then Kangaroo Flat for Munchies before making my way back Home. 27 physical and 1 complete Ad Lab for the day to keep the numbers moving. Most caches were relative logical finds but later in the day I got a couple of tougher hides that chewed up the daylight. Interesting little detour. Due to all the fallen trees around, I had to park 70m up the road. Thankfully cache was still all in place. TFTC Twibills

A nice drive through the countryside to get to this one. I must recommend Burke and Wills Track to my hubby for motorcycling. All in good condition with the cache. TN, left a pathtag. TFTC
A few nights in Bendigo with +Wife and EveTheStaffy. It is the perfect opportunity to add some more finds and do a bit of exploring. Hello possum. Thanks for the cache.
I signed this one a few days ago but forgot to log it. Sorry. I was back in Lancefield for a Doctor's apt & took this road back towards Kyneton. During the Black Saturday Bushfires I was heavily pregnant & living at Cobaw. We were very relieved when the wind change came through, just before the fire hit the Cobaw Ranges. It wasn't good news for those on this side of the range though....... it must've been awful for you & your family. Many thanks for the cache. I'm intriqued to know how the original was placed.
Nice easy find, took a travel bug and left some swag. Cache is in the obvious spot, I've just concealed it a little better than it was when I found it. Tftc
Little possum hollow found in a safe condition. Lots of sheep around to accompany our journey. TFTC!
A trip to check out some of the awesome places in Victoria and grab some old caches. TFTC.
A nice oscillated cache. Must get. Arrived and managed to turn caravan around. Looked on both sides of the road for a while but didn't spot it. No internet so no description, hint or logs. Quit and left. 5 km down the road and internet is back. No DNFs so returned. Manouvoured caravan around again and then a quick find in a forehead slapping spot.

Found after having lunch in Heathcote. Found after a short search the cache is in good shape. TFTC.
No knights or possums guarding this cache so a quick find again by Geowife. Zip lock bag replaced.

On a wet and windy day, decided to find some caches with DocNWitchjy on the way home.
Hmmm, my phone gps seems to be a fair way out today, maybe thats why i have been having some trouble finding caches today. Must be the wild wind. Anyway, i managed to find this one quickly so that makes me happier.
Found it. Entry made in book. I didn't eat the Bertie beetle but someone else did.
Tried a couple times to get this one , always look on the wrong side of the road haha finally got it
Great location on a beautiful stretch of farmland. Also had a chat with Twibills father who came to check on me. I must’ve looked suspicious
Heading home from work for the long weekend so thought I would drop by this one. All looking good TFTC
Must say that I had no idea of the song by the same name. We live and learn. Whilst we search one side of the road, OHC looked up and spotted it on the other side. We made sure it wasn't as obvious before we left. Thanks for the cache.

Noting this to be the next on our road trip today, I looked up the Muse song and played it through Spotify as we searched. While searching on one side of the road, I looked up and spotted the cache on the other side. Doh!
Interesting story too!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, Twibills

I really like driving around these parts.
A unique landscape, lots of magpie, granite outcrops and quiet roads.
No possums today. Thanks for the hide.

I have been wandering around the area on my way to the St Arnaud Mega event collecting mostly B & W caches but couldn't ignore this one close by. Its log now bears my name. Tftc TNLN
GPS was way off with this one at least for me anyway.. so following the clue I got it in the end. Thank you for this find.. all looks to be in good order and condition

Found with Exportswede. Was sitting in the open in the culvert, so it seems the animal of the hint has been busy. Replaced it as best I could guess given the coords and the spots around the place, so it may need replacing. Took shoehorn/monkey, left sweatband and poker chip. TFTC!

Having a base in Kyneton for a few days, we had a very cold day of caching in an anticlockwise loop - Sidonia, Tooborac, Heathcote, Redesdale and return.
Won the dual and logged a smiley.
Thanks to 'Twibills' for the hunt and cache placement

Suscoe was heading homewards today from Bendigo via some caches we wanted to visit between the Calder and the McIvor / Northern Highways as well as a stop in Melbourne to sort out a virtual that we had been interested in.
So it was an early start to proceedings and thankfully a mild morning to head off in.
We saw some wonderful countryside around the east of Bendigo, the Lake Eppalock region, Redesdale, The Mount Macedon area and down the way to Sunbury and finally the laneways and arcades of the Big Smoke.
Thanks to Twibills for this hide.
A quick find for us as a few spots of rain arrived.

Found today on my way down to Melbourne for a few days. This had been bugging me for quite a while, whenever I was travelling along the McIvor Highway this always showed up on my GPS. It is good to have it found now.
Thanks for the cache Twibills.

I somehow missed logging this whole day out with Cybergran V and her Muggle Hubby. Oops
Our penultimate cache for the day as we made our return journey from Kynton (and surrounds). [^]

Whilst in the area chasing B&W GA caches, this popped up on my Cachly page. Also it was very close to where a dear friend lives, so it was a great opportunity to visit her, and find this cache as well.
Both the Garmin in the car, and my iPad showed the cache to be on the opposite side of the road, so as I was searching there, dalerious found it where it obviously should have been.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our entertainment, and bringing us here to visit our friend.

Taking the road less travelled to our usual holiday destination on the river meant following the camel prints of an ill fated expedition. This was a short detour on the way.
Quickly spotted in the torchlight by zombeefish. Thanks,Twibills.

Heading to the event at Heathcote today and I had a little time on my hands so detoured via here. What a gorgeous long windy road in (from Kyneton). An easy find and I was pleasantly surprised to discover it hadn't been logged since January so this cache will help me fulfill another challenge (one day). Thanks for the lovely drive.
A storm wrecked the original intention of this hide. We gathered some supplies to fix it up but when brainstorming at GZ decided on a (hopefully) better hide. Should be a little bit more of a challenge now, coordinates still accurate.
Found this cache today. I was chasing isolated caches (at least 2 km distant from other caches) for a New Zealand challenge cache I am doing currently and this was the next cache I found today. As I was driving up here I almost had an accident with a kangaroo and ran over another one that was in the middle of the road so i was quite shaken up by the time I got to this cache. I parked nearby and initially looked on the wrong side of the road but then found the correct location. The cache was soon found and the log signed. I then continued onward after that.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found it! May need some maintenance as the clue is somewhat irrelevant as per last logged.
Very pretty scenery... tftc

TFTC! The hint seemed irrelevant so I'm not sure it is in the original position, but it's very near anyway. Cheers!
No mobile coverage to find out what to look for with this one so had to use our geo heads to guess where this one was. Very well disguised
Found it. Was a bit displaced so easy to find... we put it back to it's original spot when done
Easily found but it is obviously no longer placed where it appears it originally was and it is now just a drive-by. Thanks Twibills for the cache.
Heading home from Bendigo hunting some caches as I went and this was the last one. Took the 1km detour from Burke and Wills track, parked right at GZ and found the cache quickly in the rapidly fading light. Thanks to twibills for this one.
Found on the way through from a business outing. And the what do you know, on the quiet side road, the property owner, who seemed to be quite friendly in the end.. we had an interesting chat and wish you all the best. Cheers.
This had Sully1 and I on the other side of the road, and when we widened our search, it turned into a quick find in the logical spot. Sadly the fishing line has been broken and the cache was at the base of the tree.
Thanks Twibills, I've just returned from 5 weeks in Nepal, and loved the reminder.

Found with Bogonghazy on our long weekend assault of Castlemaine and surrounds. My GPS wasn't co-operating here, but widened the search, and Bingo. Thanks to twibills for the cache.
My annual run from Balkebah West before the Thomson family reunion meant I just had to grab this one, TFTC

It's not where it's supposed to be but hidden from casual observers still. Enjoying the drive. Thanks.
I know Knight's products well. Once upon a time I was very fond of their Reisling, had a peppery taste I remember. Long time since I have been home this way. A nice diversion and an easy find as the cache is no longer in situ.
Thanks
Thanks
I think the hint no longer applies!
Not sure where it was before I found it but obviously not where it is now.

Found by DotG, Was going to a job I'm doing in the Cobaw area only to find a locked gate so I thought I'd pick this one up on the way home. After a little bit of arrow chasing at GZ I took the hint, GPS settled on an area very close to where I parked the van. I spotted something unusual, but it was broken and the caches host had fallen to the roadside (I nearly drove over it as it turned out). I like these creative hides. I have re-hidden at ground level in an obvious but hidden to mugglers place, co-ords should still lead to it. Will contact CO of condition. Still gets a fav from DotG. SL TNLN TFTC.
Found by Roma and Max.
Congratulations on your first hide and a lovely country location to place it.
Even though we have found similar hides this one of yours did take some observation to pin down.
Thank you Twibills, well done and cheers,
