I had a very early appointment in town then afterwards met up with Dr Owl and Andy Colombia for a trip to Victor Harbor.
A fun day, 16 finds: 2 of them were webcams , 3 were earthcaches, 1 was a multi, 2 were unknown caches and I cleaned out Granite Island all in one day
Since the car was elsewhere, I had time to wander by here and take the required picture..since the webcam is sadly not functional at this time.
There's nothing left of the place that used to consume so much time for many of the younger generations
Thanks for the chance to log this webcam and to show the changes that time and new construction bring.

Doing some running around the city today we decided to grab a quick selfie at this one. Construction is in full swing all around GZ, probably the best view we have had yet of the new hospital. Thanks Freddo for keeping this one going

Even though this is not technically a webcam now, it's nice to log this very rare type of cache. TFTC!
I've been meaning to do this cache for a very long time but with the link not working decided to opt for alternative technologies. Thanks for the opportunity to log a find on a rare Webcam Cache Freddo!
At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking year through the world. Most of the time I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be taken, as it will make the challenge so much easier.
My current part of the journey is the tenth day of a roadtrip from Margaret River to Nimbin and I'll definitely try to collect a lot of boxes on my way.
Now, that I'm driving trough areas, where people are living and there are more caches I had to make a sad realization - I can't get them all
So I only hunt for the ones, that are very old.. Or are having a lot of fav points... Or are just right next to the street....
All these virtuals and webcams were the main reason for me, to come to Adelaide.
Unfortunately, all the webcams were down, but I visited all the places and captured myself.
Thanks a lot, for keeping these grandfathered caches active!
TFTC and greetings from Germany

A quick visit to GZ early in the morning showed a lot of construction work still going on. Took a selfie for prosperity. TFTC
Thanks for the cache here, my last for Adelaide, I tried to get at least one of each type, but ran out of time for a puzzle (solved quite a few) and earth and whereigo . See you next time Adelaide

Over in Adelaide for work and came in on the Sunday arvo so had a few hours free to wonder around the cbd.
I had a webcam on my must do list and I ended up with two. Both cams were down when I checked the website but since I am only here for a day, I decided to follow others and take a token selfie.
If this isn't ok, please. Let me know.
Thanks for letting me finally get this elusive icon Freddo. No longer available in Perth

Heard on the news that this spot is going very soon. What a shame. Hope they create a new space for these young people to do their thing. Thanks for the opportunity to still claim this one.....

Mr TiedyeSmileys has walked through quite a few webs in the last few days on the way to finding some caches and sometimes wears 'cams' at work so does that count?
We didn't think our E-cycles would do too good here today so just stood on the side lines and took our selfie

Over in Mount Barker with Tyred n Cranky for our annual holidays to follow the TDU.
After packing up and heading into the big city for the final Stage to the 2015 TDU, as normal we walk around the race course but this year we took a detour to grab this Web Cam cache.
At Gz I could not get the web page working on my phone so we done what previous finders had and took a photo near GZ.

Staying in Mount Barker, South Australia for our annual holidays to follow the Tour Down Under Cycling Race.
Well our holidays are nearing an end. We have packed up, left Mount Barker and headed into Adelaide to watch the last Stage before heading back to our home town of St.Arnaud. Victoria.
As we were walking around the racing track area prior to the start we decided to take a detour to grab another Web Cam cache to add to our list of caches with a difference.
Photo taken with the three of us at the spot. See photo on FUF009's log.

We decided to visit town again before leaving for Newcastle tomorrow so we could complete a few more caches despite the heat! There were a few kids about in the park. This is the second Webcam cache that we have found. We read past logs and realised that the webcam isn't working so we too took a selfie at GZ (sorry, I'm a bit tired and worse for wear today due to the heat!).

Thanks for the cache!! Found this one this am and took a selfie before heading off to Kangaroo Island for a couple of days.
I tried to get the website to work for half an hour without success. Eventually I looked at past logs on my phone and saw that everyone was just taking a selfie so I did the same. Thanks for the "cache" Freddo.

Found with Redgremlin but the camera and the link do not appear to be working...so we took a photo of each other with the webcam on!!
The link for the camera no longer seems to work properly, so we copied previous finders methods with a local photo.

in Adelaide for the week for a uni course and thought I would take a stroll before dinner. I've been sitting on 599 finds for a while now and have been trying to find a special cache for that 600th. a web cache fitted the bill... shame the site doesn't work obligatory picture taken and then off the find some dinner. tftc
Triciac2 and I have spent the last 3 weeks driving from Perth to Adelaide, and a grand adventure it was However, today I am on my own in Adelaide [:P} Wahoo!!!! Time to grab a few of the more unusual sorts of caches [^]
A few bmx riders were in the bowl, but they didn't mind working around me, so I stood in the middle and got my photo. TFTC, Freddo.

Quick walk from my hotel to make my second SA find.....as others have done, I took a quick (selfconcious) selfie with the webcam TFTC
On our trip through Australia we arrived at Kangoroo Island after visiting Sydney, Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians. After a really scary ride to our hotel (our ferry arrived at 7pm and we had to drive all over the island to our hotel and through the darkness with really a lot of wallabies and possums on the street) we enjoyed the next morning with Seal Bay and Flinders Chase National Park. For sure we also visited Admiral's Arch and the Remarkable Rocks, two really impressive places. Back on the mainland we had one day at Adelaide. On our way through the city, we passed the skatepark, but the webcam wasn't working. So we took a selfie and post ist with the log.

On our walk through Adelaide CBD we noticed the three webcam caches on the map and decided to visit them one after another and planned our walk correspondingly.
This was turned out to become a selfmade webcam but a nice place and lots of fun taking pictures here.

This was our second trip to Australia and it was as amazing as last year!
On our last day we went through Adelaide for shopping and caching
It was quite hard to find the right places for each webcam in Adelaide.
So this one was more like a selfie

We have done as others have done and made our way to GZ and took a photo with the web camera in the background. I do hope the City of Adelaide crank up the cameras again. We love webcams and are disappointed that there are not opportunities to create more of them. Thanks for bringing us to this spot early this morning Freddo. Only 4 users in the area. We were impressed with the 2 new large buildings being built nearby.
Thanks for this webcam. Very cool skate park. Camera/site not working so we took a photo. Thanks Freddo.
Found it today when I nipped out from manning the stand at the convention centre. Web cam not working so here is a selfie. Tftc
Webcam apparently not working so I had to take my own photo. Thanks for bringing me up to this area early on a Sunday morning.
I got to location and could see camera so tired all links on here and at site for webcam but looks to be inactivated. So did as everyone else and took a shot myself. Many thanks for webcam cache. So fun to do these.
I have found this one together with my dad "schwabenheini".
GZ was surrounded by fence, we have taken our own foto.

Klettercache and me are making a 5 week holiday in Australia and our route leads us from Sydney via Brisbane to Cairns. From Cairns, we are going to take a flight to Adelaide and from this city in Southern Australia we will continue our trip by train through the Nullarbor Plain towards Perth, where we will fly back to Germany.
This is the fourth week of our holidays which will bring us from Cairns to Adelaide where we are going to stay another 4 nights. Initially, we intended to leave Cairns earlier but Jet Star has cancelled the flight and so we extended our stay in Cairns and shortened our travels around Adelaide.
Today, we stayed in the near vincinity of Adelaide and only made a small trip to the beautiful beaches West of the city. As there was not so much driving needed today, there was some time to find some of the nice caches lying along the beaches. This was one of the caches that we could find today.
Not only the webcam was not working today. Also there was a fence around GZ and it was impossible to get to the final coordinates in a legal way. We anyway made a foto at a distance to GZ of about 10m and I hope this is acceptable for the cache owner. It is attached to this log.
Thanks to the owner for keeping and maintaining the cache.

Despite the typical problems such as being a foreign traveler without mobile connectivity and the website listed for this cache not working... I also found GZ to be closed for something listed as "deep excavation". Nonetheless, I did what other folks have done and took my own photo (photos actually, see that attached). It looks like a great skate park (if only I were younger). Thanks for the fun. Greetings from Pennsylvania USA!
Not sure how to know if my photo was taken so a kid took one of me. Freddie please let me know how I find out if one was taken... Can I list it as a "found"? Cheers
Came, found a park and my last cache for Adelaide. Took the pic like everyone else and love this town. Will come back in the future with the family. TFTWC.
Visiting here late at night so had the place to myself. The webcam seems inaccessible so I hope this photo is ok.
I've been eyeing this one off for some time... I had been working up the road at SAHMRI but never made it down here unfortunately. Today I made everything right, as we were here for the Mega and not work! I'm glad this one is still running despite the technical difficulties. Thanks Freddo

Suscoe's 2nd find of 12 different cache types in one day in the very good company of Phetlern and Bushfire.
We left Murray Bridge before the sun rise and had a terrific day out.
The photo was taken, will upload when the computer recovers soon but we feature in the Phetlern photo.

Up before daylight and off to Adelaide with suscoe and Phetlern to grab some caches that are not available in Murray Bridge and trying to gain twelve different types of caches in one day which before today there were only 39 cachers who have achieved this honour in Australia so will be interesting to see the total in a few days.
After breakfast it was down to this location with no skaters in attendance but my camera still had all my photos of Europe loaded so will have to rely on Phetlern's photo of the group. I am the old bugger.
Thanks Freddo for placing this cache.

A early morning dash to Adelaide before a big day back in Murray Bridge saw us here just after sunrise this morning, trying to boost our icon numbers as high as they could go . Amazed to see someone out this early and in the cold skating - it's obviously a popular spot. Thanks for allowing the photo and TFTC, Freddo the Frog! =^.^=
I am over from New Zealand for Oz Mega 2014 and today joined forces with fellow kiwis Yorkshirekiwi83, Cats&Dragons, Slieschke, Alpenmilch80 and Funkymunkyzone under the team name of "NZ Fun." Our goal for today was to achieve 12 cache types in a single day, so we started in Adelaide to pick up some of the unique cache types there, then made our way back to Murray Bridge for the afternoon. See Funkymunkyzone's log for our group photos. TFTC!
La Kedi and I made a pre-dawn start today in order to try for 12 cache types in one day. It was a LONG day! Couldn't believe there was already one kid skating here. Thanks Freddo
New day, new goal for the “NZ Fun” Team which included Yorkshirekiwi83, Cats&Dragons, Slieschke, Vistra, Funkymunkyzone and me. The 20th of April was all about getting 12 unique caches types or even going beyond the goal and doubling up on 10 of them.
A new cache type added this morning and one step closer to the goal creating funny pictures at this webcam cache. My team mates already uploaded those pictures below . TFTC

0845 I had caught up with pprass a few times, and this was one where it was helpful to get the appropriate photo so as to log the #4 different Type of cache found in one day. It was a nice day for an outing to Adelaide, and I was surprised at how quiet it could be for a capital city.

Well, today was going to be a massive day, the plan was to try and get 12 cache types in one day. Those involved in this little mission are myself, Spladem, Riddell & Phillip. We would start gathering nearby caches in the morning, then head to Adelaide for the others required. Cache types we were after were: Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Letterbox, Whereigo, Event, Mega Event, CITO Event, Virtual, Webcam, Earthcache and finally the new kid on the block, the Lab Cache.
Cache type #10 for the day. No skaters at this time of the night, photo with me in the red t-shirt.

The group of New Zealand cachers who have been signing as NZFUN (slieschke, funkymonkeyzone, cats and dragons, alpenmilch80, vistra and myself) were sat at an event in Auckland about a month before heading over here and decided that we could get 12 types of caches on 1 day, but why not make it more of a challenge and go for 2 of as many types as possible, with that goal in mind we headed into Adelaide from Murray Bridge first thing this morning to collect as many types as we could that were not near our camps.
Had fun taking photos at location, with many poses tried. Thanks for the cache here.

Visited with alpenmilch80, Cats&Dragons, funkymunkyzone, vistra and yorkshirekiwi83 finding 12 cache types in one day. Signed as NZ Fun.
It was too early for the sk8rs, they must have all been eating their Easter eggs. We got up to hijinks instead!
Thanks!

Out and about with Haveanez for a days caching whilst attending the Mega event.
This my first webcam cache, although not really a webcam because the cameras not working but close enough.

First cache in our Mega Challenge, 12 types in a day including a LAB cache!
Missed this one last time we were here! No skaters in the park today, taken photo like everyone else recently!

Edit I logged through the App and the date was wrong! Oops!

With the dwindling numbers of webcam caches this cache was definitely on our hit list.
Took the time to get here from the Mega so we could nab this one.
The skaters were out in force and wondered what we were doing as we entered and grabbed the pic.
It was like a mini flashmob for us. Glad we took the time and appreciate the smiley.
Thanks again Freddo for keeping this one active. Gets a fav from me.

#5566 We headed to the city to try and complete a number of different cache types in one day. We had our local SNAFU gang with us enjoying the sites and sounds of the big smoke (although not so easy to find car parking for several vehicles within walking distance). Nevertheless we made it to the skate park where the local muggleteens were in their element on skateboards and bikes. Dad looked on enviously although his knees just ached at the thought of it . Tried to get the webcam link operational but it seems there is a glitch - as such we took a selfie and hoped this would satisfy the CO's requirements. Sent an email to the CO to ensure a photo was sufficient to log this webcam and got the OK (cheers for that!). Our thanks to Freddo for the fun, this is cache type #6 for the day. Cheers [^]
Found while in SA for the Oz Mega 2014.
We decided to spend a day in Adelaide getting some caches with different icons.
Off we trot to the skate park admittedly not reading the cache listing first.
On arrival we noticed that the cam wasn't working and hasn't been for some time now, so we opted for the group selfie
Not sure what the muggle skaters though when we all rocked up, took the photo and left lol , they were looking a little bamboozled by it all.
Thanks for the opportunity to gain a smilie and a unique icon. Not many of these left now which is a pity!
Thanks for the fun 'Freddo'

Found while out caching in Adelaide with Skullracing, Troobloo, Coruze, Bulletproof4, The lost wanderers and the three field mice. The skaters looked on oddly as we all got down and took a photo! The confused expression on their faces were priceless! TFTC Freddo
Heading to the Mega but first a couple of days in Adelaide
Thanks Freddo for maintaining these types of caches. Hopefully the 'real' webcam will be operational sometime soon.

I took the approach of bringing me own webcam to site and take my own photo! Smile!
The placed was quite busy and it wasn't necessarily teenagers on show!
Found while traveling around Adelaide and surrounds before heading down to Murray Bridge for the OZ MEGA event!
Thanks for the Cache! Freddo

#2126 - 13:20; Day 5 of Sol de lune and LuckyL10n's great big SA Road Trip was now well underway as we worked to clear a number of caches off our Adelaide 'to do' list. Having read the previous logs, checked websites etc, we were resigned to the fact that we would be taking a happy snap with webcam substitute in order to log this find. We made our way to GZ where there was plenty of activity, unlike Central Markets . Took the required snaps and we were on our way again. TFTC Freddo
Parked just up the road and wandered over to a full park. Grabbed our photo's and moved on again just as quick.
Thanks for the webcam....
Thanks for the webcam....
While in Adelaide we wanted to see some of the sights as seen through the official eyes of webcams and make ourselves seen for a short period of time. Unfortunately, this webcam is out of action at the moment, so we had to create our own temporary virtual webcam (if you've blinked you've missed it) to take the requested picture. We hope this is acceptable to the CO.
Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the fun.
A few bikers and skaters in attendance today. Refilled my water bottle at the fountain. Thanks for a nice walk around the streets collecting a few virts cams trads and ECs!!
Found with geospyder on a nice walk around Adelaide during one of our port stops on our 18 day cruise on the Celebrity Solstice. Our last cache before enjoying a pint and heading back to the ship. tftc!!
Visiting from the high desert of Northern Nevada, USA. Web cam not working but have included a picture of me in the area. Note that we are all looking to the left of the picture. There was a bike tire that "exploded" when he hit the ground. Thanks for the hide.
Not sure what to do with these, but other comments said that cam was broken and that they just took a photo. Therefore, I did the same thing. TFTC - Find #3
Made a concerted effort to come find this webcam cache. As other posters have done recently, I took a pic with myself and webcam, hope this is ok There are none of these in Sydney (that I know of), so glad to be able to add this cache variety to my 'found list'. TFTC!
I checked out the Adelaide Council website before heading down to this cache and found that the web cameras where not available. Hope this photo at GZ is sufficient. Great idea - these are non-existant in Sydney.

I had the pleasure of staying in Adelaide for 1 week to attend conference at Convention Centre.
I was really looking forward to seeing your web caches as we don't have any in Brisbane.
There were a few guys riding bikes on the ramps, but they didn't notice me.
Found at 10:15 pm.
Thanks Freddo.

I liked Adelaide very much, you have a very pretty town. I will be back for a holiday with the geokids another time.
