It has finally come time to archive this series as the council is not going to keep the walk maintained and it has been diverted to no longer going in a link.

When I arrived here the hiding place seemed pretty obvious, but there was someone sitting in a car not far away, apparently watching me! So I went and got 3A and by the time I got back he was gone, leaving me for a quick find in the second place that I didn't look!
We tackled this series as part of a Geelong (and Ballarat) group assault on Bacchus Marsh.
While some members headed off track to climb a peak, I walked back to the car along the rest of the trail.
Like #5, I originally missed this one on my own as I couldn't look for too long on my own as there were muggles around, but returning later with a group effort the log was found easily (it's always easy afterwards ).
This now completed the series - thanks for the caches and showing us this great location we wouldn't otherwise have known about, sorceysal. The trail and stream were looking stunning at this time of the year.

This was find number 34 on a huge day of caching spent in and around Bacchus Marsh. We started out in Lara with an early morning flash mob event and then hit the road, caching our way towards The Marsh where we added a couple of the Ballarat crew to our number. And so with Na'wal, Frog_Lady, ThePacman, The_Tritonz, Roads75, Wozzle68, ST37E, DAB and Jacko83 we drove, walked, waded, scrambled and slid our way to a total for me of 36 caches.
This was the final find to finish off this great little series as the light was beginning to fade.
Thanks sourceysal !

A group trip including Frog_Lady, Buckleysbabe, the Pacman, the Tritonz, Roads75, Wozzle68, ST37E, DAB, Jacko83. It was a fantastic day that we had traveling from Geelong into Bacchus Marsh. Some very clever hides were found, plenty of laughs and great company.

Out & about today cleaning up a few caches that I hadn't grabbed yet... Found this one after a round of golf & a pleasant stroll to GZ... After splashing around in the water for a few minutes, I too thought that it had been muggled until I stood up & had another look...
Made the grab, signed log & replaced...
Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here...

A Saturday morning . A river walk. Absolutely no one about. Off we go...
A very enjoyable series. A chance to stretch your legs without having to hop over boulders.
This took longer than I expected. I thought it had been muggled till I abandoned my preconceptions and looked elsewhere.
Thanks and cheers!

On a visit to Bacchus Marsh, we were able to make time to seek out a few caches. Just a short distance from where we had lunch, this neat little cache was soon in hand.

This was next closest to #5 at the golf club, and turns out to be one end of the walking path. What? Path closed? We'll just see how far we can get. But find this one first. Mrs George found it first. TFTC.
Nearly hit my head on it while searching for it

A quick find today sorceysal, after not logging a find for 2 months, I have gone beserk this last 3 weeks or so, I thought it was about time I finished this series..... thank you sorceysal for the cache & the nice walk.
Grabbed on an evening outing with my dog. Laughed as soon as I saw this one about how people (in general) just don't see what is right there unless they are looking for it. TNLN. TFTC sorceysal

Out finding a few local caches with GeoHusband. This is a great walk along a beautiful river. Be careful of the condition of the track at the beginning. Lots of muggles, hint was very helpful.
Was a bit worried we'd be seen, it is a bit public but all we disturbed was the dog
Found by The Empire @ 12:55pm
Find number 14 of 27 today. I deployed my pretty capable mountain bike for the trek this afternoon, glad I did as it made everything pretty easy, especially the ride back to the car. All of the cache were found in the series, some taking longer than others. I little run in with some stinging nettle but that's just a another caching day for me in Spring! This was the last of the series for me, I have already picked up the other ones that were closer to roads etc. My thanks to sorceysal for the cache, and the series.

Found on a days caching with LumpyJRB who was visiting from Katherine in the Northern Territory.
The sign said the track was closed. Oh well I thought, just add another star to the terrain difficulty LOL. I really enjoyed this little series. I liked the variety of hides and effort put in. TFTC.

Found on another legendary TDC run, joined again by Poynts95, which was fantastic. Our travels took us to many different areas, as our caching runs usually do... The weather was indifferent, if not a bit cold, but we didn't care, it was just great to be out caching. We had a great night, lots of laughs, and good stories. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

Found on a TDC run, lots of laughs and good times had while out finding caches. The weather was a bit chilly but you have to expect that this time of year. Thanks sorceysal for the cache.
Out caching again with the TDC in the Melbourne are. I took advantage of another trip to Melbourne with Blacklegend and went out for a great nights caching in and around the Melbourne area. Great to catch up with the guys again. Had a great night and found lots of caches. Thanks to all cache owners for their hides.

This cache was found during todays TDC Monday cache run. We were joined by Poynts95 and we all had a great time travelling around and finding the caches we went to. Our travels took us around the northern and western outskirts of Melbourne, through Werribee and on through Melbourne to the eastern suburbs where we finished up, a little bit later than we expected. It was cold, but not too cold and we did cop a few showers but nothing to damping the nights fun.
Many thanks to the CO's for placing the caches we found and we had a great time.
When I first saw the caches in the series I thought 'I've found these' but soon realised these were all new and had been placed in between the ones I'd found previously. This is a nice walk and we had a great time chatting and laughing as we made our way to each nicely hidden cache. Thanks sorceysal.

Having been on this path before, we returned to collect the new caches. Thanks.

On a very cold and sometimes wet night, I was out with The Demolition Crew and Poynts95 collecting caches. The travels took us to the northwest of Melbourne and back to the foothills of the Dandenongs. A long night of caching with good friends. Perfect! Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts in placing and maintaining their caches.

Found with S 4 Sammy on a nice walk around the Bacchus Marsh Golf Course on Easter Saturday, found on my 3rd look, I'm not sure why it took 3 quick attempts as the third time it practically slapped me in the face

It's Torment Your Daughter Day, er, parent-teacher interviews, so Miss Teenager and I have the pleasure of each other's company. As her idea off a good time is with her nose in a novel, she may as well be in the passenger seat of the car as lounging around the house. So, let's start on the great number of hides in Bacchus Marsh.
If the teenager thought she was just going to laze in the passenger seat of the car all day, she was dreaming. I needed a bit of a leg stretch, which meant guess who would be accompanying me. This, after all, is the reason we've come this way.
Ten caches in a four klick loop? Perfect for a fine sunny day.
To the canine chorus from the surrounding back yards, we took the last section of path at a gentle pace before reaching the street. Between the nature of the hide and the distraction of fielding a tech support phone call at GZ, this took a bit of finding, and prompted a facepalm when I finally spotted it. Nicely played.

Finally, my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave had returned from a trip out west so it was time for another caching run, this time in Lerderderg State Park, hopefully to grab a FTF and a D / T Combo that both Dave and I had not yet been able to get. The weather forecast was looking good with a max around 25, so Dave picked me up from my place for an early start.
Another nice quick one, these hides are starting to become familiar.
Thanks again to sorceysal for the cache. TNLN.

Having spent the morning in Lerderderg State Park hunting some high terrain caches with Ahomburg, we still had some time to hunt for some local caches before making the drive back to HQ. After refueling and having lunch had a local Fish n' Chip shop, spent the following 2 hours walking around the local river and golf course collecting a number of good caches. By now the weather was ideal with temperature around 25 but it felt warmer then that and glad I had the sunscreen on.
Another quick find as we powered around the golf course this afternoon, doing this nice series. Enjoyed the hunt. TFTC sorceysal

Trust gordo to find it first, thought his name looked strangely written on the log book. His idea was better than a muddy rock like I had to use on the other side of Pykes weir.
Pulled up and should have waved to him from GZ. Nice hide and a great idea to add extra caches to this series too. Perfectly hidden.

Well this is a big day for me..
We are buying a house just up the road, settlement occurs 2pm. I drive up here this morning to do an inspection with the builder. Everything is coming together nicely.
I couldn't resist the opportunity to get another ftf on the lerdy links cache series, I think I have monopolized them a bit, but hey, someone's gotta do it!!
I forgot to mention I didn't have a pen/cil with me, didn't need to spill blood, managed to scratch my name with a stick and some mud.
Doing this edit from my new balcony, 7am, can almost see gz from here!!
Thanks for the hide.
Will be in touch.
Cheers gordo
