This is a ripper spot and a great idea for a cache hide. Thanks for allowing us to log a find barbbowman.
Once again, it was time to strip off for a cache. No bathers? No problems. High tide? No problems. In we trotted. Shoes, undies... McLookers eyes may never recover. I think this is an excellent spot to being Amber to play. I am a bit of a mean mum, and hoping my geopuppy, Manfred, won’t learn to swim as we have a dam I can’t fence off! Thanks for placing the cache barbbowman, and allowing us to log even though it’s missing. A favourite point for the location. It was great fun!
Our last cache for the day, it’s closing in on four pm & the tide is on the turn. My designated Tree hopper (TGG) jumped into the branches after a short wade. We sighted the carabiner & away we went, now to escape before it rains.... or will it
Last time l came here l had an arm in plaster and couldn't get the cache. No such impediment today. Muggle65 pointed out the cache and a retrieval was made. Very fun cache although the wade out was undertaken with great care. Lots of rocks. Thank you so much for placing this one
We tried this one years ago, at least twice, but never got the beast.
Today was different. Wading over, a little search, and bingo.

An early morning assault on this one while the tide was low. Such a pretty time of day to be here. TFTC barbbowman
Couldn't resist DisSister's offer to take me out to this one. We chose early in the morning for a low tide and had success in finding the cache. TFTC
Difficulty was a 1, but had to climb really high to get it. Moved it a bit lower because I don't think it was meant to be that high
First cache of the day with krcamber. Up the tree she went like a legend! She threw the prize down for me to sign and I got it back to her after a couple of tries. Love the spot. TFTC, Barbbowman
First stop on today’s adventures with Swearah! What a great cache to start our day. We timed it perfectly so didn’t get wet feet. A quick scurry up and team work helped with getting the log signed and replaced. TFTC!
Found with TrickyT late this afternoon. Tricky sent me over to nab this one while he made secure our other forms of travel. This one proved a little challenging. Can see why it has so many stars. Had to swim out through the shark infested waters here and around the tree for some time before clambering up to see if I could spot the thing. I could see Tricky in the distance not too worried at all of my predicament. I climbed and climbed, Quite some metres before securing the find and placing our names in the book. I quickly retraced my steps down and wandered safely back to Tricky. (the tide must have gone out very quick while I was up here).
Thanks Barbbowman for placing the cache in a beautiful area for us to enjoy.

We looked at this GZ as we set off this morning when the tide was still in. Decided to leave till the return trip as low tide made the access a bit easier. Luckily I also had a handy gadget to get this one called Stairman1. He made short work of the find and all is good. Thanks barbbowman
I had this as a target cache for today to help with a couple of challenges.
Arriving at gz at the perfect time, I made my way over and climbed said tree. This was a massive achievement for me as I usually give these a miss when I'm on my own. Was extremely happy with my achievement once my feet were back on the ground.

This is the first time that I have been here and found that I could keep my shoes dry but I couldn't spot the cache and didn't want to attempt the climb without having any idea where to go. Maybe if I was 20 years younger.
Was here yesterday but didn't get till log till now. I do so love a tree climb and a bit of bonus rock hopping to boot. With wet feet and smiles of our face it was good to grab this one TFTC
I was out today chasing a few target caches, cleaning up some blue faces and a few traditional’s as I would go past.
I had to leave amber here last time as she was wallowing in the waters of Moreton Bay. However today she was wanting to play, she let me climb up and let me grab the prize that awaited. With very little people around it was an easy grab, sign and run. Cache is all dry and returned as found.
Thanks for maintaining this series and your hard work is appreciated. Thanks for the cache.

So after a morning completing a Wherigo I mentioned to TeamARF that I need tree climbs to try and conquer my fears as had balked at the previous one . Thus we stopped by here on our way home . I got wet up to the ankles and climbed up the first part only to not be able to see the cache so out he waded! There it is !!! But much higher than I felt I could go. But he was wet and full of encouragement so up and up it seemed I went. God bless you for the carabiner attachment Barb!! Tftc
After the King Tide went out we came back to find our 17th of the day. Worth the climb for the views alone. TFTC.
I was out walking after work picking up three caches. Nice walk around Brighton. 1 traditional and 2 multi.
Thank you for bringing me here.

This cache has been a bit of a nemesis cache for me. I came here once years ago when we did a bike ride along monster lane and could not find it. Then every time I have driven past here I have looked at this tree and the tide was against me. Today I was out collecting the traditional challenge cache and on the way there once again the tide was against me but by the time I returned , yippee. There was just a little water to tread through and once at gz I spotted this cache straight away. I really enjoy a tree climb and this one was so good as the view from up was so nice. so I took my time signing the log book as boy that would be bad if I dropped it but I didn't and all is good with this cache. Thanks for all the fun. my dog would love a swim here and there were plenty of people walking their dogs here today. Giving this a FP for all the fun. THankyou
Out and about today on a reconnaissance trip....”casing” the area as one does when seeking out a few geocaches by this particular CO! .
I remember spotting the area of this hide a year or so ago when we came for a bike ride here, however we were just not dressed for the occasion. Today with our ropes and heavy duty climbing gear, harnesses and carabiners, support crew and belayers we soon had this one in hand. Mrs Domsky did the honours. Mr Domsky signed,

A day out with geo friends and a watchful eye on the tides resulted in perfect timing for a tree climb. Well spotted from the ground and then a good retrival of the cache. We were quizzed by a local as to what we were doing at the tree and after explaining the game to him, he was happy and said he has seen others prior to us so now he is a happy chappie

Out with geofriends picking up targetted caches and this was one of mine. Timed our arrival for low tide which made it easy to get to and no wet feet. Climbing duties to Snickersallan who was up there in a shot. Log signed and back to the ground in no time. Glad to have another one for my D/T grid.

This afternoon I decided to head out and attempt to do some of the Monster Lane caches. Had a great afternoon hunting down the caches whilst riding my scooter.
End of the line! What a way to finish my trip with a tree climb. The tide was out which made getting this cache so much easier. Now to head back and finish up one I couldn’t find earlier.

My first D1T4 cache!! Amazing to see the tide come in here so quickly too. Within 20 minutes the tree was floating. TFTC
Found it and had a great time mucking about with the geokid.
We were lucky to get out here at low tide and could walk to GZ. Both of us clambered up, but the geokid lost her nerve so I went in for the find.
What a great way to make memories with my kids. Thanks Barb!

Thanks to our geo friends! Probably our third attempt! Thinking we could without ladder super high and awesome
Tide was out, so it was the opportune time to look. Geo grandson spotted it, and directed geo granddaughter to the place. She fearlessly climbed up to get it. Geo grandma signed and the relay for the cache started for its safe return. No children were injured in this operation! TFTC
Hoorah! Been waiting to do this namesake cache since February! Finally the stars aligned and GeoSon was able to climb and retrieve for me!
Out for a bike ride with the geokids, thought we would tackle some caches between Bald Hills and Brighton. This was the final one for the day, and boy did we leave the hardest till last!
Took a little while to spy this one, thankfully tide was low and we were able to walk all around the tree (shoes are a good idea). Once spied, it was a matter of reaching it - no volunteers, so up I go! A bit hairy, I have to admit.
Such a nice spot, we then spent the next half hour wandering out on the sandbars at low tide, with kids checking out the sea life (crabs and whatnot). Thanks for all the awesome caches today, barbbowman!

Oh boy what an Epic venture that was. We had been soaked in a downpour of rain and Mark asked if I wanted to back to get this one now the tide was right and I said ok if he was going to climb. Off to GZ and up, up, up be went then disaster struck. We couldn't open the cache so down he came with cache in hand and as we were in my car there was no tools as he seems to acquire every tool I buy. That may change now. I had to ask a fisherman for help as he was in his work ute, cache opened and we struggled for the next 20 mins to improvise a way of securing it where we found it. Message sent to CO and cache replaced the best way we could but I so pleased to have a Smilie there to fill a space in my D/T grid. TFTC
spent a while climbing around the tree and looking for this one but couldn’t spot it. thanks anyway

What a beaut spot for a cache!
Today we were on a mission to find 25 caches with unique D/Ts and this cache was on our list.
As the day was wearing on (and we were wearing out) we made our way to GZ. The water ankle deep when we arrived so had no trouble paddling across. If fact it was a pleasure to cool the feet. The biggest challenge here was spotting the wee thing. So glad when we saw it glinting in the sun.

What an adventure! We had planned to visit Amber this afternoon when the tide was at least half way out so that geopooch Billy could chase his ball and have a run. It got to 3.30 pm and the weather looked a bit dodgy, although there wasn’t much activity on the BOM. So off we went.
We pulled up in the car park and there was only one car, perfect for stealthy Geocaching. We got the dog out and it started to spit, then three more cars arrived - a wedding party. No probs, Billy is a good decoy for distracting muggles. After Bill had had a lovely swim we headed over to Amber. Geohubby took one for the team and up he went. We couldn’t see the cache, but once Rob was fairly high up he spied the prize. He reached out and...dropped the cache amongst the rocks, shells and mangrove roots Thankfully after 10 min of frantic searching I found what was missing, log intact. Phew, I don’t think I would have lived that one down TFTC bb and Billy says thanks for his run

If the blob tries to climb that skinny branch the blob would snap that branch. The blob would also be surprised if all those names were actually on the log.
FastEd drove our tinny right up to GZ on this one, and the tide made the lower branches absolutely the perfect height to climb onto without even getting wet feet! I did disturb a beatiful little red crab that was roosting (?) in the tree, though. Sorry, little buddy! Ascended a few, searching, searching, peering around in every nook and cranny. Started wondering if it was lower, and in water danger, but then realised oh no, quite the opposite!! Spotted the wee thing up high - at least today's high tide made it a good day if one were to fall out of said tree! TFTC, barbbowman. =^.^=
Arrived without realising the need for tidal information...Gorgeous spot! We will be back
I think it took me twice as long to get back to earth as it did to find the little critter.
Out with geobuddy E:) today and started with this one as we checked the tides and it was best to do this one first unless we wanted to have a swim aswell. After a lil searching and by this time getting a sore neck from looking up I saw it and E:) was up there in a flash. This one def had teamwork involved what a great way to start the day. TFTC
Out and about collecting smileys with geobuddy Rhobocacher today. We were meant to do this last Sunday but glad we postponed it. Much lovelier weather and less muggles in sight.
Such a beautiful tree! Thankful that we consulted the tide for this one. Took us awhile to spot this tiny Amber. It's like a diamond in a haystack but Eagle Eyed RBC saw it from below so I volunteered to go up.
It was so hard to get the log out, I thought we needed the tweezers which was in my car parked nearby. Dropped the cache to RBC but before I could put my shoes on she signed the log! Oh well, must be because she has manicured nails! But it was nice to go up the tree again.
TFTC barbbowman. All good with this cache. Lovely place you have here. Thanks for showing me.

Out for a quick caching adventure with MarsupialMoose ( my daughter ). My last day before heading back to Canada. Oh! The weather will be so MUCH cooler there.
This was the first hunt of this day, the tide was too high, so we keep going to other caches. Returned to this cache hoping the tide was going out. It was and we make a muddy trip over. Had very little time due to a work commitment. Looked up for maybe five minutes without seeing the cache.
May try to return later today.
Thank you for this cache, barbowman.

TFTC...18/9/17. Out with Tough Mothers bennyboppers, mnance101 and her geokids. None of us could reach it despite seeing it enticingly dangling well above the high water mark.
Out caching with Remsjw, Bennyboppers and my kids mazza151 and pinkypie05. We saw the cache but my nerves got the better of me. Will try again another day
We decided to park the car here so that we could give this one a go, and then go for a walk for a few Monster Lane ones we haven't gotten to a bit further up. Al is the one to climb as he is much taller than Em at 183cm. He decided once almost up there that he wasn't comfortable with climbing any higher because he couldn't see a safe way to get high enough to reach it, as well as be able to get it opened and signed as well. So we've decided to give this one a miss. It seems as though it's been put up higher since previous logs mention that it was reachable from the ground, but being up higher makes more sense with the current terrain rating. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful park though. The tree is wonderful!

Vegan Cachers had suggested Brighton Park as a meeting point for a paddle that I had planned so we met up here with nikid1 and KerriMG. This cache had been on my radar some time ago when I was chasing my first D/T loop but it had since dropped off my radar. As the tide was still out, I decided to have a look before we headed off on our nautical adventure.
With nikid1 having found this one before, we had an idea of what and where to look but could not locate the cache. Mr VC and I got up in the tree and had a look around but nikid1 insisted that she didn't remember climbing the tree and that the cache should be down low. In the end, we decided that the search was cutting into valuable paddling time so we gave up the search but, before we headed off, I shot off a message to the CO asking for a hint.
As luck would have it, I received a reply from the CO, as our paddle was coming to an end, saying that the cache was up high. After loading the kayak back on the car, I decided to come and have another look. It was now dark so I donned my headlamp. I left all other electronics in the car as the tide had also come in and, unlike the dry walk this afternoon, the water was now up to my thighs.
As soon as I got to the tree, I climbed the first few branches disturbing a crab and a spide (at separate levels). I looked around and then up and spotted the cache.
Oh wow. That really is high. I wasn't sure how I was going to reach it. There weren't too many branches and those that were there didn't look too thick. I managed to get high enough to reach it, at full stretch. Then I had to struggle getting the log out. I eventually managed and signed our names with very shaking hands. However, when I tried to return the cache, I found that I couldn't reach. At this point, I made the mistake of looking down. I was really high up. I thought about climbing down and just sending the CO a message but then I found that I was able to pull myself up enough to get a knee on the next fork and then I could finally reach and returned the cache.
I was never happier to have my feet back on dry, or in this case, very wet, ground. And that is coming from someone who has a bit of a name for nasty tree climb caches. I think this was scarier than anything that I have placed but that could be due to the fatigue of a long paddle, along with the wet shoes and the limited vision of my headlamp.
