No luck at the other nearby cache and this was as elusive, round and round but couldn't it turn it up
Parked the car nearby here for my big day of trekking for remote caches. Had a look for this one before i set off, no luck so had another go upon my return. But GPS was all over the shop, tried following the written clues but couldn't narrow it down despite being confident of my south and west! Sure its there somewhere! Maybe try another day. TFTC.
My geopartner and I headed to the country with some freestyle caches along the way.
Boom quick find. Dried it out a bit but is okay to sign.
Thanks to Paul_the_Hippy for the placement, fun and adventure.

Took a Monday drive up to Acheron gap. Found the cache in good condition Went on to look for Acheron North, phone reception bad, I will have to come back another day regards from Victor and Carol
Found the cache with KatiePlayz after realizing we were looking on the wrong south. Tftc!
One of just a few I found for our trip. Was thankful for the description of the cache location or I'd probably have another DNF.
Thanks
Thanks
Replaced cache and rite in the rain paper so all is perfect. Now you just have to work out where it flows when you get out of the car desperate for a pee.
Down for a funeral and made a detour to dirty the hire car, to check this one out. Its in worse condition then I thought it would, but still added some paper and tried to dry it out as best as I could, but fully expect the next person will say that its wet. Hoping the geocaching fairies will help out with this one and if not I will be back here later in the year to fully replace it. Enabling for now.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
It looks like this cache needs your attention in some way please, as one or more seekers have indicated in their logs that there is an issue with the placement.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Day Road Trip: Home-Healesville-MtDonnaBuang- **[AcheronWay]** -StFillans-Buxton-CathederalRangeSP-Taggerty-Rubicon-Home
A mountain saddle by any other name but it takes CO "PaultheHippy" to actually quantify this so that I, a neophyte, actually realise what this is!
(You have no idea what I am talking about do you? *Think: topographic maps or cartography, if you will, and how it relates to the actual terrain!* Sigh! Forget it. Go back to your iPhone, pouting & selfies.)

Wetjala takes some beating to some of these caches so yet again he found this one.

Out for a day of caching and sightseeing with Wetjala and Mrs Biggles in an area away from the bushfires. After travelling along the Donna Buang Road we turned onto the Acheron Way and this was the seventh of many caches for the day. Wetjala was ahead of the pack on this occasion and he soon made the find with the help of the information. Again the log was very wet but we were still able to sign our names. TFTC.
Soaking wet, but able to sign thanks to the paper used. Again, great informative cache. Thanks for taking us - S_38 and me - to this spot.
On my way back from holiday in NL with Lekker_Ding we camped and cached our way around Warburton and Marysville and had some great experiences and found some great caches. Thanks for hiding this one
You know, this Yarra vs Murray, er, rivalry here never occurred to me. I didn't get beyond "naww, pretty place" at the scene. This made for a relatively quick driveby, thanks to the extensive hint. Some moisture in the container but the log is withstanding it well. Thanks Paul_the_Hippy!

Easter Sunday and looking for a great place for a drive in the mountains. Beautiful scenery and a cache or two... today's trip ticked all the boxes!

When planning this assault geoD had thought to make his way up from the south., but obviously had no idea of this whole catchment area thing. So the long way round was taken and a short search was had after resorting to the hint.

Thanks Paul the Hippy for a reason to stop at the Gap. We always enjoy learning from your information and the places that your caches bring us to. Found with no muggles in sight.
Out and about on a country caching trip, stopping for a few in the Yarra Valley as we drive through on a beautiful day.
We found this one fairly easy, logged our presence here and continued on to the next cache.
Thanks Paul the Hippy for this placement.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area with mcsee&petal today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Thanks, a piece of barbed wire hindered find. Unable to remove it so take take.
A hop skip and a jump across the gap and a totally different path for a water droplet. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Beautiful area - grabbed whilst traversing through. Thanks for the cache here, much appreciated. Love this part of the world.
While passing through the area with Jacko03 we spotted this cache on our radar and had to add our names to the log.
With the detailed description we soon found the cache.
Thanks Paul the Hippy for showing us this great part of the world.

Out for few caches with friend Craft26 and the goekids.

I must say, tiny canisters, virtually buried, with a rock on top, hidden under a rotting log is not my idea of a good cache, but a find is a find. Thanks Paul.
#1728 - B lead the merry brigade around in circles until he decided to actually read the description ...duh. So the gang quickly found given the right information. All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour. Thanks Paul the Hippy for the time and effort for this cache.
I think this was my favourite of the two Acheron Gap caches. Is the area really patrolled? I see they have even blocked off the sides to prevent motorbikes getting in. Are people that really desperate to get in. There's so many great open trails around here why would you bother? Yeah, now I kind-of want to go in. What's UP there?!
I found this one today while chasing ° down the road. I figured grab a few caches let him get a bit further in front will mean less dust. I was very appreciative of the hint as it saved a fair bit of guessing as the GPS had me everywhere. TFTH
Out and about with bush buddy
We were fascinated by a skeleton near by was it a kangaroo ? Thanks

Found @ 8:25am, find # 3190.
Is was the start of another great days caching out in the bush with Biggles1024, with a mix of transportation to get us to the various locations and GZ's. ( car, bike, foot ).
I think that my GPSr got out on the wrong side of bed this morning as it didn't want to play the game, while Mark was heading to GZ and then finding the cache, my GPSr was thinking it was still 60 metres away.
Thanks to Paul the Hippy for placing this cache.

Find #1135
Another trip to Warburton and beyond with my caching partner, Stemicmitsar. Our transportation varied from car to bikes to good old Shank's Pony. The day dawned with the promise of fine weather and it was fine for all but the briefest of periods.
This was the first of the caches we attempted together and it was a quick find thanks the explicit instructions in the cache description. The CO is right about GPS reception in this area. Ours were all over the place but that is to be expected in this type of terrain.

This one proved a very easy find armed with the location description. The GPS stayed in the car for this one. There are signs of some very recent bulldozer action on a number of the tracks leading off from the gap but the cache has not been affected.
Left nothing and took a good chainsaw spanner / screwdriver found on the road next to the nearby gravel piles.
Thanks Paul

After reading a post on one of the geocaching Face Book groups about late logs, I did a Geosphere to GSAK export, looks like I forgot to log quiet a few caches, this is one of them. Sorry for the delay. Thanks Paul_the_Hippy for the cache.
Found at 1:16 PM GAFF1 in the company of RebelActs at a distance of 7 metres. Every time we see one of these green gates we shudder - they are usually shut and it means we have to get out and walk. However in this instance we were smiling from ear to ear as our GPSr said to search just a short distance away.
We were looking for a substantial rock, but then noticed "the" rock and the tiny cache.
Thanks Paul_the_Hippy.

Went looking with taurus1955, but it was a wet, miserable day and I didn't need much encouragement to head back to the car.
Tried very hard to locate this cache but the weather was lousy and the trees and ferns all around us were soaking wet. I had very wet feet by this time.

Today's weather looked ideal for another run this time thru another area of the Warburton region. The target today was Mt Ritchie and a particular cache with a rare D/T combo for project 81. Started early (7am) being pick up by Ahomburg and after grabbing a much needed coffee and supplies in town we were ready to start the run. Today's run resulted in 22 finds and 2 years worth of unlovness. another epic run and big km's clocked on foot.
On route to track 15 and spotted these 2 caches. This was the first found and initially didn't read the cache details and luckly I did as I was attempting to head into a thick section of bush which is not required. After reading the description details the cache was found and today was about 18m west of where GZ was for me. A nice find. A nice area too, thanks for bringing me here. TFTC Paul the Hippy

Today was my final training run (walk) for the Oxfam Trailwalker event that I was taking part in next Friday as part of team "Nightcaching Australia" and who better to do it with then my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave for some walking, caching including some unloved caches. I headed out early picking up dave, then heading straight to Warburton where we grabbed coffee and baked goods from the bakery before heading for our first cache.
This was another spot I had visited in the past, not sure if it was cache related or not. It took some time to locate this one, when we eventually used the hint, the cache was found soon after. It seemed to be 15 - 20m out for us today.
Thanks to Paul the Hippy for the cache, TNLN.

*FTF* Having seen so many caches get published down here it was just too good a change to try our hand at an FTF or two (or twelve in the end I think...). We were briefly slightly directionally challenged in the hunt for this one but I managed to spot it without too much trouble. A good day out.
East. West. Yes. Eventually. When you look in the right place the cache is there!! One of our party got his east and west slightly mixed. Possibly?? Maybe?? FTF #7
