Muggle daughter was yelling where to look from the car - came up with the goodies well protected (triple bagged) one passing car was a little disappointed, we pulled over as she took comfort having company and seemed a little uncertain about the road ahead TFTC
Couldnt find after over 2 years and a lot of growth. Now under big rock waste height 1m off the ground you put your hand hand down behind split rocks. New coords to be updated but you should see the rock.

On our way home from an allowable lockdown ramble at Ben Cairn and made a quick stop to listen to a lyrebird calling just above GZ - utter magic But as for head height - seriously!?! Glad there was a height increasing device in the car
I found it thanks Paul the hippie, I should say Paul the very very tall hippie, head height, my word. I went for a drive up to Ben Cairn this morning of mother's Day and was able to pick up your cache on the way back. Log book is in good condition thanks to some drying crystals which I doing their work nicely. Hope your ankle is feeling better, regards from Victor.

Ducked out for a quick drive to hopefully pick up 1 degree angle in my 360 degrees of caching from home, the last degree.
I don't think this was head height for you Paul, it was way above my head and I'm a short arse too
Quick find, just had to work out a way to get it down and then back up again. One of natures pokers helped a lot.
**Thanks for placing this cache Paul_the_Hippy**

We're out for a drive on this gorgeous back road we've never been down before. Just the kind of scenery we love. Thanks for bringing us to this area.

Day Road Trip: Home- **Healesville-MtDonnaBuang** -[AcheronWay]-StFillans-Buxton-CathederalRangeSP-Taggerty-Rubicon-Home
I can well understand why CO PtH likes this road although I doubt he likes “the road” per se but rather the ecology and botanical aspects of the abundant flora that dominate the area. Mountain Ash or Eucalyptus regnans (meaning reigning if my internet sourced education is correct) are certainly a magnificent tree by any measure and I can see why the timber industry wants to get their sweaty, blistered mitts onto these trees given the super-foot (old school measurement) price these massive straight timbers would command from the market. I hope they remain untouched for the sake of our country and future generations but I have zero faith in the ability of our political class to shrug off influential lobbyists (i.e. the timber industry) when bags of money in the guise of political donations are within reach of their sticky, chubby fingers! It would take no more than a stroke of the pen from the minister responsible and the hills would then be alive with the sound of chainsaws mere moments later. *Me, a cynic? Whatever gives you that impression?* Take a run up Royston Rd south of Rubicon and you’ll see what I mean! (Watch out for log trucks though.)
Thanks (again) to PtH for the stirring up some of my dormant grey matter and, ahem, expanding my marginal high school level of vocabulary!

Out for a day of caching and sightseeing with Wetjala and Mrs Biggles in an area away from the bushfires. This was the second of many caches for the day. Again the GPS had us all over the place on both sides of the road but with the help of the hint and Mr Pooky widening the search, he soon spotted something that was not quite right a little out of his reach being short but he soon had the log in hand and signed. Today I headed out with biggles1024 to first of all attend the Yarra Expedition part 9 and then head off in search of other cache where ever they maybe.
With the event now over, everyone had hit the road to find a cache or two.
By now we had set off on our own trail of Caches to find, finding a spot to stop wasn’t easy but soon I was looking for the cache as Mark had already found this one.
My GPS was pointing to the low side of the road but Mark soon set me straight letting me know that it was in fact on the high side which made it a lot easier to find, the log was signed and we were on our way.
**Thanks to Paul_the_Hippy for placing this cache.**

Slipscache and I arrived and wondered if we wouldn't find it. We looked from the road with much difficulty. Where could the cache be? I tried to get an aerial view, and here in lied the answer. In the shadow of a mighty tree, the cache was found. I opened up the cache and signed the log. While doing so, I could hear the marvelous calls of birds across the range. As I put away the cache, the clip noise echoed across the valley. Thanks for the top cache Paul!

**Traditional Cache Find #2116**
I headed to Warburton and Mount Donna Buang in search of unloved caches. I discovered only last week that this section of road had been reopened. Just in time for it to be closed again for the snow season no doubt. [8)] I searched high and low for this cache but couldn't spot it even with the hint. I explored the low side of the road to no avail but as I climbed back onto the road, I looked up and thought I spotted something plastic. I investigated and it was the cache. Huzzah! There was water in the container but the CO had thoughtfully used water proof paper for the log which I had no trouble signing. I shook as much water as possible from the pages of the log and placed it in a zip lock bag with some desiccant.

Easter Sunday and looking for a great place for a drive in the mountains. Beautiful scenery and a cache or two... today's trip ticked all the boxes!
Saw the comment the comment from the CO that this one was missing and a replacement was needed.
Black sistima now in place.

Not going to get to this cache for a while to check it. I have no problem if someone wants to put a throw down out, just mention it in your record if you do.
On a day's adventure with ahomburg in the Wharburton and surrounds area. The initial impetus for the run was a bit of cache maintenance by ahomburg and I asked whether I could come along. A simple maintenance trip morphed into a bit of an unloved hunt for me for purposes of a challenge that I'm VERY fitfully working towards.
This would've been a nice addition to the tally but after a search around by the both of us we had to stop as a car was approaching and there was simply nowhere to park that wouldn't block the road. Another time perhaps...

While helping out Adriaan and his troops participating in OXFAM , Lukie1987 and I had a few hours to waste waiting for the team to reach the next checkpoint so we had a nice little drive up to the hills to do some maintenance and find some great caches...
Lukie and I took a little while to find this but not too long....A little unloved here too but we sorted that

Out with 88andy88 while waiting for adrain to come to his next checkpoint we thought we'd go find a few TFTC.
I am guessing this is a series of caches better done on foot or on a pushbike Parking for this one again was a bit tricky. Normally it probably wouldn't pose an issue but today with the volume of traffic it was a bit of a pain. Cache was easy to spot sitting up on it's perch uncovered. It looked like recent rock movement had occurred so I placed a few more around it as I exited to protect it from the upcoming winter. TFTH
Great weather for a trip to Ben Cairn to clear up some of the caches along the road to Donna'. Like Paul, I like this track and have travelled along it on many occasions. The trees, ferns and all sorts of vegetation, the occasional glimpses of a view, the occasional furry friend and all the birds make each trip memorable. Thanks Paul.
Finding the cache was just a matter of reading the description and following instructions.

some lovely cool summer weather great for a drive up around donna buang collecting caches on the way. beautiful scenery. at one cache the ranger stopped to see if we were ok, told us that the best time to travel this road is in the early morning, the wild life are very active, lyrebirds every where, must try it some time. well hidden but a quick find for us thanks paul
Mrs Crackers joined Alansee and The Drovers for a days caching through the hills up to Mt Donna Buang via Healseville and then home via Warrandyte.
We saw some fantastic scenery and found some good caches.
The GPSr was a bit flakey here but with the hint in the cache description we were soon able to locate the cache and add our names to the log whilst admiring the view.
Thanks again for the cache.

Found with Team Crackers and The Drovers today, and as per the description. It was a great day for caching.
Received an invite from Alansee - a drive into the high country for some sightseeing and caching.
Mrs Crackers from Team Crackers joined us, on this great day out.
We visited some very pretty places, and found a good variety of caches.
This cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Paul_the_Hippy, for us and others to find.

A great drive up the track happy to find this one after having zero success on the bend! TFTC
They shore are tall trees nice one with hole in bottom near by thanks for this hide
On New Years Day had nobody to play with, so decided to go on a nice solo drive up here and grab a few caches. What a fabulous road this is! Only grabbed a few, though, before the weather turned horrible. When I reached Donna Buang it was 9C and pouring rain: yuck! T4TC, Paul!
Just noticed I had forgoten to log these, was looking at the map and then noticed they were still unfound. I had a great day with pprass doing some caches in what was my playground for most of my life. Thanks for the cache.
Found at 10:22 AM GAFF1 in the company of RebelActs. Drove past GZ a bit and had to walk back. GPSr was not co-operating, but we found a likely hiding spot and located the cache.
These trees are very similar to the grey gums that are in the Monbulk area.
Thanks Paul_the_Hippy.

We found this cache today at 3:40pm as the 17th of 26 on our Donna Buang bound Saturday. Two lyrebirds ran in front of the car on route to this cache. Going slow enough to easily avoid. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A
Found while caching around Healesville on my day off. Very familiar with this timber as I have a wood heater.
Found this today on a geobuddy trip, loving up here, bit cool but nothing a jacket doesn't fix. TFTC.
A nice quick park and grab on our to Mt Doona Buang today, Thanks again Paul the Hippy for the cache.
The mountain ash certainly is a majestic tree. I love being out here amongst them and enjoying the tranquility. Thanks for the cache and bringing us out here.
Found this cache as part of a caching run with with Spiffy-, E10107 and the geowife and child. I love these big trees.
*FTF* It was a lazy Sunday morning when the notifications for this nice little trail started to appear. So, after a couple of calls and messages around we got a little group together and headed off. This was find number 1. Not too hard to find with the help of the description.
Got a call about 12.00. Did I want to come on an FTF hunt on Acheron Way. Well of course!!!
We passed a mad mountain biker on the way up - rather do it our way than his! However he was making good time as he passed us again a couple of caches up the road!!! FTF#1
