Cache notebook absolutely soaked despite being in two plastic bags. Pretty hard to sign. Tried to cover up as much as I could. Lovely views. TFTC
Thanks for hiding this cache Bitsprayer I appreciate it. Thankfully we found it after the last dnf. There was also a dead walleby on the track Today is day two of our Waimate trip. We were away for 2nights . We left work on Friday.
Biked up the big easy and then struggled a bit to find a way down that wasnt too steep. Ended up going down the road. Found a couple of caches along this way tho before turning around.Great views from up hereTFTC
A good test of how many rocks two people can flip, great wee cache on a sunny day. TFTC
With Karma Reprint. Thought I heard some birds twittering but it was something quite different! Great to get this one. Thanks.
A nice quick find thanks. Cache is in good condition, replaced the plastic bag to aid its longevity. Almost 3 years with no find, (possibly 4).
Found on a sunny trip to South Canterbury. The waether is supposed to go down hill tomorrow. We shall see!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Is this still here? We over turned all the rocks. And at gz there were no rocks. A lovely walk nonetheless.
A wee long weekend family holiday in Oamaru over we were now heading for home via Waimate and a couple interesting walks. After a spot of lunch at the botanic gardens we headed out here to find ourselves a waterfall and a horse on the hill. Walked along here a bit and enjoyed the air and view. Cheers.
Came for a walk along here in the late afternoon, a very quick find with good accurate coordinates. Beautiful red sky colours as the sun was setting, and dead calm weather. Very enjoyable with the fantastic views. Signed log, TFTC
A quick easy find after a short walk down from the horse. Very windy here today. TFTC
It's windy at the top today. Took some searching but obvious really. Tftc will be interesting to see what happens to the top of the hills in years to come.
road trip for the day to put more smiles in waimo with the kids ( they weren't given a choice).
finally made it back to the top of the hill to grab the last few caches this was a relatively quick find and an easier walk compared to the track on the other side of the track tftc

A slightly downhill 4WD track with great views and great company and a string of caches - what's not to like? Very glad to see the new fence around the bush on the Waimate side, with the wallaby-proof mesh on the bottom half. Wallabies are fine in Australia, but they wreak havoc in the bush here.
I'm still in Waimate picking up a few more caches. Today is a time for some hikes. After meeting up with Team Daywalk at the previous cache it was decided that we would combine forces to attack the caches down the hill from this one to my cachemobile which was left at the carpark at SH82.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Very nice to be walking along the tops, great views, fresh air, caches! A lot of trees have been felled around gz, but the cache is all safe and sound. TFTC!!

Only went a wee way along the track and found 2 of the caches as it was very, very windy!!! )
found with axllal today, nice day out caching in the wimo area, cheers for this one.
Heaps of wind blown trees here....we followed our GPS into the mess, then went back to where we first "looked".
Some stage the chain saw will need to work here, but cache will be fine.
We wonder if this is not seeing visits as tree maze looks worse than it is.....quite straight forward really.
Cheers

Drove up to the start of the link track carefully following wheel tracks in the snow. Was very glad it was after lunch for the ice in the wheel tracks had had time to melt, otherwise I don't think I would have made it. I was certainly glad that I met no other cars coming the other way. I couldn't find the 1st cache on the link track (The Link Seat) as all the rocks were under snow, so I pressed on along the track to this cache. Fortunately this one's rock was poking above the snow so it was a quick find. T4TC
As I carried on following the needle I had feeling I had been this way before but the track certainly didn't continue then.
Thanks

*FTF* Got to this one only a few minutes after the first cache and had a nice quick find. There are not too many of these features that you can get to very easily. TFTC
