No sign of cache, maybe because of recent landscaping works? Cache owner please check.
Also, new verge gardens mean even a replaced cache would lead to garden destruction. Something to consider.

Great view at night. The co ordinates are correct. Got a bit overzealous and ended up taking the title a bit too literally. Tfth.
Have never been here before, what an amazing place to live - what do you have to do to be able to afford a house here. Was a little perplexed standing at GZ when geo-son said "What about here", and I wisely said "Nah, wouldn't be there", and guess what, it was there!!. TFTC.
Early April caching ride on the geobikes around the river.
Found it on the second visit because there were a couple of people and machines working at GZ at the first time we got here today. Quick find and awesome views. TFTH

Quite surprised to find this in perhaps one of the few spots it could have been. Reread the clue and said ,Of course. Great hide! TFTC
Great view from here. Look like the ground will be landscaped when the apartment building across the road is finished.
Our first cache of the day, a stop on the way to Sunday Markets further down this street. A quick find, thanks to a good hint, put in a new log strip. TFTC!
Out with m4yb to check out the Mosman park Men's Shed for Moi, and we decided to grab a few on and after the visit. we racked our brains for a bit but then noticed an item that fitted the bill and tried to retrieve the log, but all just messy bits of paper, so she replaced with a new log strip.
Lovely view so thanks for this cache malandrea

Found the cache but it was half full of Sand and I couldn't extract the log. I Can send you a message with a description of what I found if you want to verify my find. Let me know.
Mum & Dad took us to visit the WWII Tunnels today & this cache was found on the way... TFTC malandrea
Headed out on this beautiful day to visit the WWII tunnels in North Fremantle & stopped to visit this cache on the way... I discounted the spot at first as when searching discovered the biggest centipede I had ever seen Searching through the rubbish scattered around the area, I was ready to move on when Jase decided to look "there" as well... Sure enough, he discovered the cache after getting rid of the centipede & digging a little as the cache was buried in an ant nest
TFTC malandrea This one needs a little TLC as it is in poor shape & the log needs replacing too.

TFTC - great view and staircase!
Log is soaked and needs replacing (and some ant spray)

Took a few minutes to track this one down as the builders had parked their cars almost right on top of it. Signed the log and returned it to it's hide. TFTC.
Decided to find some caches in the local vicinity with adam111316 after running an errand.
With the new houses and whatnot being built nearby we couldn't find the staircase and decided to stop searching pretty quickly. Many tradies hanging around, didn't want to stick around too long.

First find ever after reading all the comments and the clue I eventually found it and I think someone called the cops on me XD
Found on the way to the Cottesloe event. An easy find in a very interesting new area. We were intrigued as to which new homes would lose their views when the ones in front get built. TFTC
Sorry about the delay in logging this find. Been away on a trip. Found this one and a couple of others while on our way from Fremantle to Perth with Janale Girls. TFTH
Out today on a puzzle run while heading north for another bout of babysitting, taking a very circular route past as many blue question marks as possible. This was another slight detour... couldn't pass by here without checking out these stairs.
And then it was a quick find of the cache, whilst overlooking a splendid view.
Thanks for the cache malandrea.

Thanks for the cache malandrea.
You wouldn't want to slip under the fence but the views were good. A quick find here as well.
Thanks malandrea for the cache.
Thanks malandrea for the cache.
Strangely there is an old stairway going downhill as well as the tower to heaven. Great views now, but the new tower will be hideous - visible from many ocean and river viewpoints as a blight on the landscape. Great clue. Thanks.
Just dropped geowife off to work so doing some caches on my way home. Nice view. Does seem an odd spot for the stairs. TFTC.
I'm saddened no one knows why the stairs are there. They are to show people interested in buying whatever is being constructed the view they can expect.
Very strange- in more ways than one. Don't know how it stays dry.

To quote from "Hogans Heros" Very interesting! But very strange. I would be quite interested to learn of the purpose of this structure. Thanks for bringing us here malandrea. I'll perhaps lay awake tonight thinking about this one.

What a great staircase! I was quite disappointed to find out that I couldn't ascend it as the area was fenced off with a new development commencing soon. Still, a nice view across the river from here. This was my find number 22 of 30 on my epic bike ride around the northern suburbs. TFTC malandrea
TFTC. Out caching today to pickup the last couple of duck 43 caches that have been recently published. Made a detour to pick this one up. Thanks
Decided to get a last day of caching in with skippy 46 before i go to bali in the morning. Had another successful day with 26 finds and no DNFS. Most caches were easy finds with a few that took a bit of searching and a couple of sneaky hides to make it a bit more interesting. This was our first stop and a quick park and grab TFTC
On a blustery winter day, Ooh Yeh and I had a successful day of caching. Was a bit concerned when we arrived at the staircase to see it was all fenced of, but the GPS showed us that we need not worry. We crossed the road to make a quick find, signed the log, admired the view then raced back to the car as the wind was freezing cold.
Have to wonder WHY??? and WHAT FOR???

Found @ 13:04!
Find #06 on a caching day on foot in North Fremantle to Cottesloe!
Arrived at GZ and got concerned that the apparent damage to whatever used to be there took the cache with it... On reading the hint my worries disappeared as I quickly spotted the hide!
Had to wait for a few muggle-couples to enter the nearby building before exposing the cache. Container was a bit squashed and the log was damp, but both still OK.
Nice views from here - shame the fence was in the way and the 'stairway to heaven' was inaccessible...

Ridden this way many times but not taken any notice of the stairway! Enjoying a coffee in Freo at the half way point of a beautiful ride when I noticed this one so took it in on my way home up the coast. Not many places to look so it was a quick find. TFTC
