This was very disappoointing, as when we arrived at GZ we were confronted by a tree which had been cut down. The stump had started sprouting again , but the rest was simply a lot of sawn logs lying on gthe ground. We did move and check under most of the logs in case the container had survived, but did not find anything of interest.
Suggest the CO might want to check this one.

After a fantastic walk around the water finding some caches and having a phat time with my wife we could see the road ahead (although we still had a walk back over the hill to the car). One more cache on the loop and I could see the tree climb attribute. Well I squealed like a little princess that's just broken another diamond ring. Let me at it.
In the past my wife would lecture me about having too much fun climbing trees but in recent time that has stopped. Instead she just asks if my life insurance is up to date and then says go for it. This wasn't an overly difficult climb and my wife didn't even bat an eyelid when I pointed out where the cache was.
It was a great way to finish the walk and by this time I was well and truly over the camouflage game we had been playing. tftc

Last time I was in this area, I didn't attempt this cache. Today, was time to change that. I have been working on my fear of heights, which, at times, has had me frozen in fear. Today, I was determined to conquer it. I made my way to GZ and spotted the cache. "Gulp!" OK, I know how to go about this. Soon, I was reaching for the cache. That's when the I began to shake. I managed to sign the log I was shaking so much, I am not sure if I managed to get the lid back on the container properly, but, I was shaking too much. I made my way back to terra firma and let my breathing settle. I know that this cache would be a walk in the park for many, but for me, this was a major effort. TFTC
Today is Em's birthday so she requested that we go for a walk here and grab a few caches along the way.
Em decided that she would make this one her first tree climb as it was pretty straightforward and not too high off the ground at all. The logbook was full so we replaced it with a spare one we had on us. Thanks for a memorable end to the day. A FP for this one.

After chatting with heather 321 I told her about the series closeby but today the area was full of smoke as there was a bushfire burning on the other side of the lake, and being ashmatic we chose to finish them off another day. We chose this one instead for my daily cache. Heather321 tried climbing but she just wasnt tall enough to reach so me being a little taller gave it a go. Yey I can reach but only just.... found when I was outting it back I needed to rethink my footing and balance as I needed two hands to replace. TFTC
After inhaling smoke at the start of walk and deciding to come back again another day we noticed this one right by the side of the road.
Climbed up and found it just out of reach for me, so RhoBoCacher climbed up and her being a bit taller than me, it was just in her reach. So she passed down to sign and then when returning it found a better position to balance

Decided to head out here this morning for a walk. Oh to be an inch taller. But reach it I did. Putting it back was harder but it always is. TFTC
Nice quick easy find, although my phone was telling me to go one way, my geo instincts were saying it was where it was.
Being near for the challenge cache the T rating got our interest so we headed over. The task at hand was soon sized up and the container spotted. Up we went and completed the signing duties. TFTC.
The final cache for our hunt today this one was spotted easily from the pathway. Climbing to it however was slightly more trying Then the extracting of the log lead to me dropping the logbook out Fortunately hubby was able to find it and pass it back to me while I dodged an inquisitive wasp Logbook was signed and returned with no further issues.
Cache was found on the 2nd of April 2017 at 2.12pm. It was find #310. Thanks for the cache the_eths. All was well with this cache and logbook Thank you for a lovely family stroll through the park taking just over 3 hours to complete and 3.5 hours return (via the road)

Another cache find while out with geocaching friends today. We've had such a fun day and found most of the caches we've looked for, so we are feeling accomplished. Thanks for your part in our enjoyable day geocaching today the_eths, by placing this cache for us to find. Cheers!
We are out chasing some challenges and doing extras along the way. Like this one. TFTC
Out for the day caching with friends in an area of Brisbane that none of us had really cached in. Founds lots of interesting caches and wonderful parks. Thanks to all the COs for placing their caches here.
Out and about in the area caching with geo friends today and to our surprise this was an easy and safe tree to climb with a nice spot to sign the log book. Thanks the eths and TFTC

Today we decided to clear up a few solved puzzles that were still sitting on our 'to find' list.
Of course we aren't going to just drive by the trads! Lol ...
Nice quick find.
A pleasant little adventure to get the heart pumping.
The log is full & needs replacing.
Sorry, nothing suitable on board today.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Spotted GZ quickly and there's the cache. A bit of a challenge for someone vertically challenged. Lots of fun though.
We enjoyed the walk and the views.
Very quiet today and enjoyed climbing the tree.

I had just found the nearby challenge so decided to pick up this cache too. Finding the cache was easy, reaching it wasn't too hard. But....I dropped the cache! I saw it fall and went down to find it. I found a log which turned out to be the original log which must have been dropped several finders before. I searched and searched and searched and eventually found the cache. Relieved I climbed back up and reattached it. TFTC
The Dez half had to scale the heights to find this little chap. Nice hide. TFTC
Dez did her finest monkey impression here, soon had hands on the cache and passed to those below. TNLNSL, TFTC
I wasn't really expecting to go geocaching today. We had planned a walk around Lake Samsonvale and I thought I would just check the app to see if there were any in the area, expecting to find maybe one or two traditional pop up. It was a lovely surprise to find so many on such a glorious walk. This one was easy to spot, but not to get too! We had some fun climbing up but unfortunately there was no log in the cache. I looked on the ground to see if it had been dropped but we couldn't find it anywhere. I put some paper in their so that people can sign the log but there is no clue in the cache for this one.
After reading the hint I was happy to send menstrieben up there to find the cache. All good, I could have climbed up there! Tftc
Having an awesome day with my boys we've dedicated an hour to chase few caches around. Thank you for bringing us here!
Quick climb and fine with Phil Serenity. Both of us climbed and signed. Log book full. We aint no sissies
After completing a 6 hour walk this morning I rang home to check in. Things were not happy on the school assignment front, so I was advised to stay out longer to avoid exacerbating the growing tension at home. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth I duly sought out some other caches in the area. After waiting for some other walkers to pass by I quickly made my way up to GZ and added my name to the log. TFTC
We gave it a go ... yes. Done. Squeezed our names in a really full logbook which needs replacement, but we had not this size. Sorry. Tftc.
Having spent the early morning at the Look before you Leap Event, we then teamed up with Jabak123 to find a few caches in the area. We had a very enjoyable walk along the tracks and had a great chat along the way.
Thank you the_eths for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Last cache of the day. This was fun. Great walk and great caches. Greetings from Finland.
Found this cache as the first of ten as we did the dam fine walk series and a few others. Nice to find a tree climb that was reasonable and needed no uncommon equipment. Found the cache quick and enjoyed this little hide. TFTC
1762 - Well the storm was getting closer and I knew I was going to get a little damp. I left the umbrella in the geo mobile, as when I left it looked like it wasn't going to rain for a few hours. I had left only about an hour and a half ago and the storm had come up behind me through the trees, so I couldn't see how much rain was in it. On my way to this one I could see that it was raining very heavily at Bullocky Rest and I was thankful that it wasn't raining that hard here. As I approached where I needed to be, the rain started to get heavier so I took shelter under the tree. The it got even more heavier and I was quickly soaking wet. The track running down to ground zero quickly turned into a "river" and the rain showed no sign of relenting. So I decided that I might as well crab the cache and get out of here. I did it as quickly as I could so the log didn't end up as wet as I was, then I was on my way back to the car through the heavy rain. After just a few minutes it started to ease up, but it didn't matter as I couldn't have gotten any wetter. Thanks for this great trail of caches here the_eths, I enjoyed it even though I got drenched. And I will be back to claim "The Finale" when I work out what I have done wrong with my calculations!
Now what this cache required me to do was within my capabilities but I was concerned if someone saw me what they would think about a grown man doing this activity. All good though as I had it signed quickly and returned to its hiding spot. Thank you the eths for bringing me to this lovely little walking track. TFTC
Oh no. Maybe i should leave this for another day. With my ankle feeling tender, i didn't think i could accomplish this one.
Can i climb up there? I can see the prize, just dangling there.
I can do this....i think. It's ha4d clombing when you're disadvantaged, sore ankle and NOT tall.
Well, here goes. Managed to get to an appropriate height and then had an image of my mangled mess of broken bones laying at the base, waiting to be found.
Don't worry....up and down, and a smilie.
Signed and returned. Tftc and the wonderful trail.
Will be back another day to finish.

Hot day, but kids really wanted to go geocaching. Haven't yet attempted any of the geocaches around the Forgan Cove area, so thought we would start with this one. A fairly straight-forward find - kids didn't want to attempt the tree climb, so looks like it was up to me! Nice spot for the cache "the eths", thank you!
We actually walked right past this one on the way back to the car after doing the Dam Fine Walk series. Once in the car we drove back close to here and managed to make a quick find. We were grateful it wasn't as high up as we had thought it might be and the climb was fairly easy. TNLNSL TFTC
Well I started the day by climbing a tree! Not the first time and nor the last tree that I will be climbing!
Joined up with Gunnie69 to go forth and find us 25 different D/T combinations in the one day! Sounds easy doesn't it! We decided go the north side of town as that offered us the best combinations, as they were the furthest from our respective homes!
Thanks the_eths for the efforts of putting out the cache and making it an enjoyable day!

All the years I have been caching with Ghostgums, he is used to dispatching yours truly for these types of caches but today, it was time to turn the tables and send in the big guns... First cache of the day on Operation "Mix it up", we were on a mission to secure at least 25 different D/T combinations and qualify for the challenge cache over in the wetlands.
Ghostgums headed in to grab the log from the container we spotted from terra firma. The mission was swift and he was back on dry land before we knew it.
Thanks for a challenging start to the day.
Cheers Eths.

Today I had a 2 hour window to get some caches while Miss11 enjoyed a trail ride. Grandma was with me, so I took the opportunity to look for this one. We walked over to GZ and I looked up. Phew, I think I can do this. The tree had lots of friendly branches that were great for my short legs and up I went. I managed to grab the log and sign it, much to Grandma's amusement. I love a tree climb, especially one that I can manage. TFTC, loved it!
had such a lovely walk around the dam.

I was on a bike caching adventure today while visiting from Canberra. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to have a bike in the park but there didn't seem to be any rules against it. I clambered up to this one while thinking of the various members of my staff who are around my age (early 50s) who have injured themselves doing stupid things. I was stupid, but it got me a smiley face. TFTC
The weather has been so beautiful and it was no exception on this lovely Tuesday. We successfully found this cache while completing this series which is one of the nicest we have ever done. We also took the opportunity to find some of the other caches in the locality. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Some finds challenged us while others were found quite quickly - a good combination. Thanks to the_eths.
Killing some time in area whilst playing taxi for daughter and granddaughter attending party. Enjoyed this climb for a cache. another on my map as well. TFTC
[Blue]# 11918[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another fine Autumn day for caching around the suburbs.
After the CITO I made my way north back towards camp.
This was a little different but not too difficult thankfully.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.
Thanks for the cache the_eths,

My daughter and I have been planning to bring her dogs up here for a walk and do this series for the last week and today we finally got here.
This has been a very up and down trail! Two I found but couldn't retrieve the logs and 2 others we walked right past as we were chatting and forgot to watch the GPS! Rather than go back each time I decided to do them when I come back to finish the series.
The muggle daughter made the climb to get this one.
