I am in Dunedin early to attend the Mega next weekend so in the meantime Im getting caches when I can. This cache was found in good condition.
Added more paper if the numbys roll it up properly. Building site is taking shape. TFTC
Such a cool hide! This is my sixth cache find and the first of its kind. Log needs replacing as its very damp and fragile but relatively easy to find after the hint was given!Found with Amarana11
I located a few caches today near Dunedin and on the Otago Peninsula whilst en route to Portobello for the night. This one was a quick find! #7360. TFTC.
The big mission of today day was to break my record of most finds in 1 day. I started in the morning from Larnach Castle, after spending the night there. Unfortunately, the weather was really bad for part of the day but I persisted nonetheless, going on a geocaching hunt through the wind and rain, on my bike! After going down Highcliff Road into the city, I spent a lot of time in the city centre, ticking off all adventure labs there. Then through the botanical gardens and onto the steepest street in the world, which I managed to ride all the way up in 3 'stints' . To finish off I grabbed some more tradies at the waterfront and just before midnight I called it a night. I'm not sure if I broke the record yet, since I'm only logging all finds at the moment .Btw, sorry to all CO's, I did not manage to actually sign all logs, since my fingers were sometimes so cold, I had no strength to open some tight containers. Rest assured, I actually found all containers and enjoyed the full day hunt a lot! Also sorry for this generic log for all caches, making it a little bit easier for myself, since I found so many. All finds were relatively easy, mostly because of the hints, thanks for that. All DNF's were either taking too much time so I had to move on, or were very probably missing. Many thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining! FP's rewarded for the ones I especially enjoyed!
On our way to an adv lab and spotted green dot. Had to stop and find you. Signed log on edge as very full. Thanks for the cache Hall-way.
Found on our outing along Highcliff Rd today. Great view, TFTC. The logbook is completely full, and needs another page. I added on the back of the original log.
Looking for a Blue switch [S](https://www.geocaching.com/souvenir/?guid=bd067848-0611-4c34-81c4-99580a77d75a)ouvenir trad to fill the grid. Wandered down the slope from the parking space and frisked the hint in the grass. Yeah! these are always good camo caches, even if they leak a little, they still stump novices. Whilst the eclectic collection of logs are a little damp without a baggy, the bison holds them in check. SL, returned the cache back in the hide and back to the wagon to find a safe turn around area. #10,403. I was making my way back along the ridgeline after finding the CANZ cache. Some awesome views of the harbour from up here. Decided to stop for several on my way back to the accommodation. Parked close by and walked back to GZ. A short scramble down the bank and the cache was in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced the container where found. Thanks Hall-way for hiding it here.
Quick stop here this morning on the way back from the sandfly bay. Amazing views out the harbour. Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache
I headed out for a quick sortie on the Peninsula - loved the views driving along here.
I had been here before, but had clearly wimped out at the 1st hurdle. Quick find today, thank you Hall-way.

Reluctantly I am going to do a cut and paste for most of my logs today. Lytteltonwitch, Geomum007 and I had a very busy day. Most logs were signed in full some were initials. We had a FANTASTIC day, walked our wee socks off and tomorrow - home time, has come around too fast. Thanks to all the cache owners for making this Dunedin stay so memorable.
Great views from up here. Tried a couple of places and then found what seemed like a likely place. Very good cache - could easily have missed it. TFTC.
Out and about today for some caching. Had our family xmas a few days ago before we left home so today was just us. Decided to hit central Dunedin today as figured there would be less people around. The only people we did seem to hit was a couple of Chinese tour groups.
Just wandering the streets of Dunedin now stopping off at caches we have solved or we like the sound of. Once the GPS settled down we made a quick find. tftc

I went for an early morning drive along Highcliff road this morning. Thankfully this was a quick grab as it the wind was bitterly cold. That said it was only 6:15 in the morning. TFTC
Had to wait for a cyclist struggling up the hill before making a dash. Great views up here. Love this road.
Just love this road, can never tire of its beauty
A quick stop, time to take a picture, and sign the log.
Thanks for the hide Hall-way, loving Dunedin today

Found this on the way to visit Larnachs castle, log was full but we put in an extra piece of paper. TFTC
Stopped to pick this cache up on the way to Larnachs castle, the log book was full but have added a piece of paper to keep it going for a while longer. TFTC
Great container, haven’t seen something like this since caching in England. Found with Yah Aight but log book is full so will need replacing
I had to sit it out while a walker went past - actually I was surprised at just how many there were walking along this road this afternoon. I found a perfect little spot for a micro but no cache there. Searched in a few other likely spots and thought it must be missing. But then I saw it - whew. TFTC # 13,630
My second-last stop, and my last find, on my little mini-hunt today. It took me a few minutes to find a muggle-free window, so as suggested I took the camera out and played around with the panorama function. Once that was done, I sneaked on down the bank and retrieved the cache. I hadn't seen a hide like this for some time and certainly not many since leaving Melbourne. Cheers!
Out from Australia with Kittykatch and Smittengranny chasing old caches. But also needed some missing dates. Glad to pick this one up and the cow was happy for a chat as well. TFTC
Apologies for generic log but it was a huge day today travelling with Kittykatch and Joolay. It was a highly successful day managing to find lots of interesting and old caches, of which this was one, helping our Jasmer and D/T grid along nicely thank you. TFTC SL
Found on an early morning cache run and stopped in here to pick up a few caches close to the hotel. TFTC
Down in dunnas for the weekend "caching up" with kjr.
After a morning walk down to bolder beach and back up paradise track.
Heading home grabbing a few png's on the way tftc

Cache # 4,124 - a trickier hide than we were expecting, but CelloJoss and I tracked it down in the end. After sitting on some thistles (ouch!). Nice hide, nice spot. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Another quick stop by the side of the road for the lovely views. As usual, long grass was my enemy and this one was a little difficult until I figured out what “under” actually meant. Wasn’t expecting this sort of cache here... so that’s nice. TFTC!
During our one day stay in Dunedin, we also found and logged some caches. Thanks and greetings!

Day three of my long, long weekend in Otago and Southland and I’m loving every moment of it. Woke this morning in my Airbnb in Winton to the sound of rain so I was a little downcast thinking I was back to wet shoes and socks for the day. However, my fears were misjudged as the day was crisp and clear. Left Winton with a good impression and more than I arrived (pre-arrival all I knew that the only woman hanged in New Zealand, Minnie Dean, came from here).
Have made my way through to my Airbnb near Ocean Grove and now I'm on the hunt for dinner, but I see there's a couple of caches nearby and I'm still 3 short of my target of 50 for the day. So its a small detour in the wrong direction and the cache is quickly in hand. TFTC

A quick find en route to the Paradise/Buskin tracks with U.N.C.L.E, in an effort to blow out some school holiday cobwebs. TFTC.
Out for a Sunday drive with my Mum and was her first time geocaching. Our last one as we headed back to town and a nice quick find. TFTC
Da hier schon länger keiner mehr gesucht hat, war alles zugewachsen.
Also hatte sich die Dose sehr sehr gut getarnt.
ABer wir haben sie trotzdem gefunden.
Greetings from Germany!

Number 11 of 34 found around the area today whilst on a day caching off the beautiful Golden Princess and number 11 of 76 found in our 6 days caching around NZ.
We had hired a car for the day today and travelled from Port Chalmers, to Dunedin and out to Larnach Castle, caching our way there and back.
We picked this up on the way into the castle and it was a nice easy find with a view worthy of a photo.
Thanks for the cache.
G'day from Australia!

On my mission to reach 2000 before the end of the year, so glad to have something nearby to attempt after work.
Yay finally got this one I've drived passed several times. Almost missed it as I moved the container out the way during hunt d'oh. But second time realised my mistake and soon had log in hand.

The last cache we thought would be the last for the day...but oh no...here is another quick one. TFTC
Well had to get out and enjoy the sunshine so decided to go for a few which had previously been DNFs. En route I came across this one and decided there wasn't too much traffic so I could afford to have a go.
For some reason the GPS was jumping around at this spot, so I decided to leave this for another day. Now I've seen some other pics I think I know where to look next time.

The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
Decided that after dinner to head up the penninsula. Quick find
Thanks for the cache.

Cache number 100 for todays total of 115
Cache 223 of my total of 288 for this epic trip!

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
Quick find and sign whilst on an evenings caching drive along the peninsula. Cheers.

A quick find thanks.
Canterbury show weekend and time for our annual road trip to some place with plenty of boxes to find. One player short this year as PurdiePurdie got a better offer over the Tasman, (no not another MEGA).
TheWanglers, Team Gaters and I took off at 4:45am for Dunedin for a weekend of fun frivolity and finds. The plan was to get as many as we could, while still having a good old time, which we managed in abundance. Logs were generally signed kaTT, which actually should read ka pai, but I can not seem to get pi as a symbol.
A great time was had by all.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Managed to squeeze our rather large vehicle just off the road alongside GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Seen a few of these hides so didn't have any problems with this one and the road remained quiet until we moved on. TFTC.
Harder to find the parking than the cache. Thanks.

Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our trip to the Otago Peninsula and Taiaroa Head. We had a lot of nice views from several places and ... good caches!
