nice easy one. But the access is a bit tricky. I could see this cache from the road if I looked carefully.
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
We chose an awkward way to get to it but in the end it was an easy find. Thanks Firnsy
Out for a few smile in the manning lake bushland
Nice view from this one, by the the look at some of theses houses across the road there definitely seems safe water to the south

Came out today out with the Italian Geo-Stallion to grab this little fellow. Found quickly. SL TFTH
I was looking for a good series to complete today that would allow me to find my 500th, and decided that the Manning Park caches would be the ones to go for. I borrowed my dad's Garmin eTrex 20 GPS during the week, and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to try it out. Headed along a bit of a dead end, but didn't take long to find the trail I needed. Jumped the fence (or more like walked over it) and quickly made the find. Must not have been my day - dropped the log and had to scramble around and find it, before then dropping the bottom half of the nano, where it fell into the scrub. Was relieved to have put the cache back in it's spot before heading off for the next one. TFTC.
Headed out to find a few caches today & our destination was Manning Park. After walking the circuit, we returned to our car & proceeded to this cache We found a suitable spot to park & over the fence we went... (One can only hope that it was not other cachers who did this to said fence )... Cache was quickly found & I guess there is no meaning to the word stealth here as the traffic never stopped! I imagine the passing traffic thought we were crazy getting blown away on the side of a hill looking at some random blue structure

nice easy find today. lots of cars going past, probably wondering why i was there looking so hard at the details of this monument... nice view from here anyway. TFTH
Walked in from the Davilak Track. A good walk for a *cool* day
So that's what a cardinal mark is !

Changed the log a week or two ago and forgot to log the maintenance ... good to go!
This series has been on my radar for some time now and today was the day for a stroll around these paths. Most of the caches were easy to find due to spot on coordinates and there was a nice variety of containers and terrain.
It was still pretty early so there were not too many vehicles about. Luckily the cache was in the first place I looked . TFTC firnsy

On he way home from the event in freo, I decided to grab a couple of caches.
Parked up not far from GZ and wandered up.
Over the fence and straight to GZ where I found the cache quickly.
I took the last place on the log so a new one is needs.

Great view, another tripping adventure for me and fun rolling the log while IQO played tourist to distract any muggles looking our way. TFTC Firnsy.
A happy hop, skip and a stumble to this one.I got to enjoy the outlook as Gypsy Roaming rolled up the log.

Out for an early morning walk / bike ride in Manning Park. My first time in the area and was quite surprised by how hilly and rocky the area is. I had to leave the bike some few hundred metres away from GZ and I took the most difficult route of all, along the cliffline. While risking a nasty tumble down the steep embankment and getting carved up by the prickly bushes and sharp, twiggy branches, I admired the magnificent structure that I was slowly approaching. Once I reached the fenceline I was fine, a nice easy find in the end. Cheers firnsy
With a cool day forecasted, we decided to do a couple of small trails in the area.
We started with the Manning Bushland Trail, which was an easy walk with good
views of the surrounding area. They were all well hidden and in good condition.
Thanks for the hunt today, firnsy.

I knew there was a cache here while driving past I had geo son in the car with me so decided to make him jump out and find it. Think it took him longer to sign the log then to actually find it. Seemed to be waiting forever for him. TFTH
So we're again off the Manning Bushland trail but still on firnsy's caches.
Took the easy option at the fence as it has already been pushed down. Had a quick find here, enjoyed the view and headed towards the lookout.

Well, having almost completed the series on the nearby hills we just couldn't resist sprinting down for this one while so close. Quick find after just a little steeple chasing activity.

Not sure where we were supposed to park for this one but we drove up on the verge, walked up the sand dune and climbed over the fence to get this smiley. Thanks firnsy.
After dropping the geo-men nearby to Manning Bushland #1, Mrs iluvtrekking and I parked the car on the side of the road and hoofed it up the hill, over the fence and to gz to grab the nano in the rain.
GSAGC # 552. Gale force winds and pelting rain (with no effective shelter) rendered writing in this log a real challenge [B)] And this is why we love Geocaching so much TFTH.
[:(!] Went for a six hour caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GC37DH1 ( K & C 043 - Manning Machinery Madness) and then walked the circuit of Manning Park, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

BUT I ALREADY LOOKED THERE!!!
Why does the Geodaughter have the eyes of an eagle today!
After taking the wrong way (once again trying to outsmart the amazing Firnsy) and having me Geodaughter laugh at me for falling over bushes, we eventually arrived at GZ. I swear I looked where she looked....but nooooo. I failed. As per the great TV Show...thank god your here!
Great spot for a cache.

Enjoyed walk series and extra 2 = 9 caches in Manning area. Start at Manning Bushland Trail #1 - approx over 2 and half hours to comeplete all 9 caches - plenty of time - took photos etc... Long walk but take a time no rush.... found nano and signed the log at 12:56pm. Thanks firnsy
I did find this cache - after climbing over about 2 fences which someone had very conveniently lowered Interesting perspective looking at the scenery from this big blue thing. SL TFTC Firnsy - on, on more fence "climbing" to continue
Driving past we espied some likely looking characters hanging around GZ, turnerd out to be quantor and teamNZ. Nice to meet up with other cachers. Found together and logged. THNX firnsy
Found it together with Team NZ and came across FlyingPlatipus who helped out finding it. Lots of cars driving by... TFTC
Quick find on the way home from a day jam packed full of adventure. Went to the Maldives and the Celestial South Pole, not to mention finding the Stairway to Heaven and Exclamation Point. Glad to find Safe Water South for safe passage on the homeward run. Thanks firnsy
Thanks again Firnsy jimmytherat & I are enjoying your nano's on our visit from the South!
Arrived to find Keego already here. Opened car door and Jazl sprinted to the Cloaking device.
I ran after her and saw Keego at the blue object. Keego had the cache in hand so we signed the log and departed. No gnomes here.
Thanks Firnsy

While working in the area we decided to scout this one out this one out a quick search and the beasty was found. As I started to sign the log AmstradKid and Jazl arrived. There were no signs of Gnomes here, SL TFTC firnsy
Out for the day with ooh yeh on a wet n wild day of caching.
Windy windy windy, which didn't help our GPS but we guessed it was "the object".
We did have a moment tho when trying to get over the fence I ended up flat on my back....felt a tiny bit stupid lying there with the traffic zipping past below us with ooh yeh laughing her head off.

Out with skippy 46 to do a bit of caching, the weather wasnt the best windy and quite cool. This was our first stop and we just about got blown away when we got out the car. Not sure if we did this the easy way or the hard way but we went over a broken fence and landed on our backsides with all the traffic going past proberly wondering what we are doing on the ground at the top of the hill. Once the GPS settled it was a quick find. TFTC firnsy

In Fremantle for a meeting, decided to get out afterwards to grab some caches. These had been on my to do list for quite some time, so it is nice to clear them from my bucket list.
[8] [8] I have always considered this a likely spot for a cache, and nice to see that another cacher thought so as well. A quick find, the log was signed and the cache returned to its resting spot [:o)]
Thanks firnsy for the cache. [^]

Seen this big blue sculpture many times from the road, now I had a reason to get a closer look at it Thanks Firnsy for the Hide with a nice scenery view. SL
I run over to this one after getting the one in Manning Park. I have been driving past this one for a while and it will be good to not have the car GPS 'bing' at this point any more.

After the other new cache we relocated near to the listed coordinates of this one but found no sculpture and then understood the disabling of the cache. Decided to go to the sculpture nearby and had a look but didn't find anything. Came back this morning and, in the daylight, found the cache right where I thought it should have been last night. Cannot understand how we missed it last night. Still found a blank log though so was happy.
Thanks firnsy for the cache.
