Had a good look around but the area seems to have been cleaned up recently which our local muggle friends confirmed was the case.
Like those before us this cache appears missing as the 'Tree' mentioned in the hint is nothing more than a stump now.
Had a quick scrummage around but can see a lot of trees have been cleared from here

DNF as it appears the hiding place may have been chopped down. Could the cache owner please check? Hopefully we are wrong! Thanks
The junior members of thecoxcrew had to get a blanket badge from the Mount so we figured we'd go to the tourist centre at the Blue Lake then do a quick(?) lap before heading off. Managed to score a few caches on the way, including some more of the Mountopoly series. Happy days!! TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found! After having a great lunch at the Blue Lake, this was the next on your list. Parking wasn't easy but had enough road to pull over without another muggle car passing us and the geo wife found this one quite quickly.

I flew into Melbourne on Sunday, rented a vehicle and am driving to Oz Mega in Murray Bridge. Of course I am trying to find some caches along the way.
Today, Wednesday, is is my third day of caching in Australia. This is my first caching trip south of the Equator, so I am finally getting some S's to go with all my N's. And this is my first caching trip east of the Prime Meridian, so I am finally getting some E's to go with all my W's. (My trips to Europe and Asia were before I took up geocaching.) Thanks for the cache. This cache is my find number one (1) for the day, and find number nineteen thousand three hundred ninety six (19396) overall.
May all your days bring you more smiles than frowns . May your year 2014 be better than your year 2013 was.
Cache on!

After spending the night in Millicent to finish the Going on a Troll Hunt series we were now heading to Portland grabbing a few caches along the way,
This was our last cache for the day after completing the nearby earth cache and at first thought that we may have had a steep slippery descent when we spotted a much easier way to gz.
The cache was soon found and our name added to the log.
Thanks guys, we will be back to finish this series.

Waited for a break in the people walking around the lake, we ran down and quickly signed the log. Tftc
We found this cache on a short walk around the blue lake. Unfortunately it was only a short visit in Mount Gambier. It would make fun to complete the full map.

Working at Mount Gambier Hospital this week, so after work had to do some caches in the area, and what better place than around the Blue Lake. Down the stairs and nice find under the bark.
Quick find We went for swim in the little blue lake after that one and it was absolutly amazing.

Visiting Mogni so it was a quick drive around for some early morning caches before breakfast. The Geowidow wanted to walk around the lake later, so we drove around collecting the caches so it wouldn't be necessary to stop later!
Quickly found. Thanks SA SA Geocachers.

We stayed for one day in Mount Gambier. It was a pitty that we haden't got enough time to do the whole game. It was very fun to search the special creative caches and we got surprised. Thank you for hide and greetings from Switzerland.

#477 for us, found today on my big caching trip home from Robe to Jan Juc. I had made the trek to Robe to watch juc_jr#1 competing in her first Surfboat carnival, which was the Australian Surfboat Rowers League Youth Stampede. Having bolted over to Robe, mostly in darkness on Friday, the Sunday trip home was time to dawdle along, enjoy the scenery and grab some more smileys while juc_jr#1 travelled home in another vehicle with her crew. 5 and a half hours to get over, almost 12 to get home
After grabbing the clues for the nearby earthcache and having to beat a hasty retreat from the swarm of bees, this was a nice quick walk and an unusual find. No live red-backs in residence today, just a cache log, which now has one more mark. The cache is now more securely fastened closed too.
Great effort for this hide, well done !
Thanks for the cache SE SA Geocachers, although it was the only one in the series I will get to this trip, but we will be back...lakes, craters and hundreds of caches...what's not to love in Mt Gambier !

Cache found on the Joy of SECS tour with four-fun, Freddo, thewhitedoggang and Team Waldron. There were a stack of boxes to find so we pushed on. We even had a quick round of Mountopoly and a couple of Powertrails to add to the fun. The weather was cool and sometimes icy so wet boots were the order of the day.
Thanks to SE_SA_Geocachers and clear skies from TeamAstro.
A 3 day caching expedition with Freddo, Astro, WhiteDogGang an Four Fun.
Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
The mozzies were full on at times and it rained most of the first day.

Day 15 of August Challenge, Thursday's are a little crazy after school as the geo kiddies have hip hop. So I decided to head to this one on my own just before lunch. Should have worn my running clothes, could have jogged around the blue lake. Quick and easy find today. TFTC
Fairly easy find once we were in the right location. iPhone played up a bit on this one; I'm guessing from being on the side of the mountain. Having a good night cache. #7 for the night TFTC. (Found at 1:06 AM)

One of 13 Mountopoly caches I found on a shopping and caching trip to the Mount today.
Luckily a quick park and grab as the dog in a nearby yard was busy telling everyone within 400 metres that we were there
Thanks

Visiting the Mount once again and this trip was mainly for a friendly game of Mountopoly. We had heard some good things about this series, and it didn't disappoint. TFTC SE SA Geocachers.
Mr M took the easy way down and then realized he was too far down. Never mind, the cache was soon in hand. Oh.... now we have to go back 1 space.

Dug around the wrong side, then I spotted the clue! Bull- dog was going nuts... Wonder what the owner is thinking
Thank you to the teams from Mountopoly for making me so welcome,
Thanks for taking me out caching and for dinner.
Doing a spot of night caching at the mount.
Got to go out with some of the Mountopoly crew and later had a fun run round town with Team Scoobster.
