The gate closest was locked so we had to go the long garden-bashing way. Found it down low (others suggested it was high?) 1 swap
My first Tasmanian GC! Finally back visiting family in my home state after being locked out for so long from NSW. A quiet time and easy find - would never have known the history. TFTC!
Thanks for the cache Hilberts.
Spending a couple of days in the north of the state with RLD4963 and the two GeoGSP's. Our main reason for this trip was to visit the lavendar farm at 'peak lavendar' - it was an added bonus that we could take the doggoes. Before heading back to our accommodation, we decided to grab a few caches in the St Leonards area. This was a nice quick find at GZ.

We had our wedding reception here 34 years and 362 days ago on Tuesday. Pity about the deterioration of the place now. TFTC.
Quick find. Rain and wind kicking in. Time to get home. Big mooning exploring new local area
Found it really enjoyed finding our first treasure! Great spot! Just tricky enough to make it excited!
Thank you for making us stop here and giving some history to this place. A pity the grand residence cannot to be seen from the road. Found a great cafe round the corner as well. 2 wins here for the day. Tftc.
An easy find even though it is night now.
Log was damp but not wet.
TFTC Hilberts!

Hi Hilberts , many thanks for the cache, found with my great mate AlbyDangles (a previous finder here).
Today we'd headed north under the pretence of collecting a piece of furniture; but of course we were geocaching, and may I say, a great day out with fantastic company.
Back in Launnie after a side trip to Mount Barrow ended in disappointment, thwarted by nasty nasty weather, we still had more than an hour to fill in pre-furniture, so we targetted a few caches in Norwood and Punchbowl; and this one made a nice en-route driveby.
Thanks for the reason to stop here.
Cheers, EPs.

Found on the way from Mt. Field NP to Pioneer during my motorcycle holiday on this marvelous island.
The little cover helped as I searched by torch light. It took longer to get my hands on the cache than it took me to find it.
Easy find. Lots of little treasures there. Also a laminated travel bug card from Rockhampton. Unfortunately log details have been washed away. Left it there for others to find.
Tftgc found alien and left fake playing $2coin. Big love from doyouknowher and mattjet93
Tassie Trip Day 194 - It was a day of just going here there and around to see what we could see it was a target to get another of the old caches in Tassie and we need a item for the caravan to allow some more flexibility in campsites so from one side of Launceston to the other we collect a few caches and had a great day out.
Arriving at the GZ a quick search soon revealed the cache and all was in good condition and the log signed with everything returned to where it was retrieved from.
Thanks Hilberts for this quick park and grab

I had no idea Fysh was one of the founders of Qantas, quick find and off we go, thanks for the info and cache.
Out and about with the Rat and Goose for a caching weekend.

Thank you for the cache. Maggie the great GeoWestie caching with Carer and Angus88.
Today we decided to visit family in Launceston and turned off the Midland Highway just past Conara to gather a few caches in the Deddington/Blessington/White Hills area and this was one we found. A great view and a very pleasant rural drive into St Leonards. All good at GZ. TFTC
Goose had already found this one so he left me to it, it took me a couple of searches before I found what I was looking for and I soon added my name to the logbook.
All the time I was here from reading the listing I was thinking about Hudson Fysh who I had never heard of before, I was thinking what an odd name and it reminded me of another odd name I had come across while caching.
Morton Figg is the name I speak of but it is know to only a small band of geocachers with only 25 cachers finding the full meaning of his tale.
Thanks for the cache.
Myself and goose of gooseandegg planned a trip North into the badlands to get some caches to help with our hidden creatures finds, early start for a Saturday with me picking Goose up at around 7 O'clock even with a couple of stops along the way we made good time which helped us to clock up 42 finds on the Saturday and 24 on the Sunday before heading back to the civilised South, getting back in my drive at just gone 6pm with 580kms under my belt, 66 caches in 35 hours while not a bad haul is less than 2 an hour, I must try harder next time!

Hello Hilberts thank you for the cache.
I made a quick find while a muggle was waiting for the bus, signed the log while sitting on the wall.
I wanted to find some caches so I could get some Hidden Creatures souvenirs that I can proudly display on my profile page that no one will see.
I travelled up from Hobart for this search.

Nice drive by cache. My 6 yr old loved finding a little treasure. Cache was damp but still signed
Reading the cache notes explained why I was here today
Another link in the QANTAS story [^]
Outside Hudson's olde digs,
I quickly dug up this cache
Not a drive-by,
more of a 'FIFO' cache [:o)]

Luckily we were here in the early morning so we could go about stealth business without observation. Tftc. Left I love you hair tie and brooch. First cache off the boat from Melbourne.
Hi there Hilberts.
We cached around Launceston today - and found your cache **"Flying Fysh"** at 9:57:00 AM. (This brings our total find count to 18408).
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 9 caches (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

One last find for the evening before grabbing dinner (will if you're game enough to call KFC dinner). I should have taken my torch with me as it was very dark but I didn't want to upset anyone in the house across the road. I ended up using my phone for light and that was enough for me to see the cache. I took it back to the car to sign and when I went back to replace it the phone was still in the car so I did it by feel. I am pretty sure it's all hidden securely again. Thanks Hilberts for the cache and info on Hudson Fysh. The egg used to work for Qantas but we didn't know the family home was right here.
Tftc fairly easy find took nee gf and her 10yo son hunting and he was loving it!
