Extensive search with clare007 and hevwalker ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, no joy!! The area has been mowed .... hope it wasn't caught up with that!!
Another Mountopoly, another cache. Community Chest was always exciting to land on, more often than not it meant getting money from the bank, wish life worked that way too.
Coming down for the cache and no other reason today, plenty of caravans on the main road today!!!!
Thanks SE SA Geocachers for the cache, and a childhood memory or two of school holidays spent playing monopoly. TFTC LNTNSL

Suscoe headed out early today as our time in Mount Gambier is quickly disappearing.
It was a very foggy start to the day but as time went by the blue sky gently emerged and a splendid day was had by us.
45 cache finds in total which was a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed all the finds.
This is a terrific location for geocaching and we have loved our time in the Mount.
All good here today.
Thanks to the SE SA Geocachers for placing this cache here.

Our last day at Mount Gambier, before heading east, to catch up with muggle friends.
After completing the Shades series, we picked up a few other in the area.
Almost gave up on this one, but widened our search and made the find.
Signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, SE_SA_Geocachers, for us and others to find.

Staying in the Mount for the weekend. So started the day with the typical tour of all the garage sales. Even managed to pick up a few bargains to appease the caching widow back home. [^] That done it was time for mogni and I do get on with some cache hunting.
Looked for this one for a long time before finally finding it. Looked at fence to see there was a marker clearly telling me where to look. Stupid me looking at the GPS instead. Thanks SE SA Geocachers.

We are staying at Beachport for a 4 night camping trip with Earthlight & muggle friends, no electricity as we are camping in the national park, it has been a fantastic time spending time down this way finding caches along the way, another quick and easy find for us today : ) TFTC
Walked over this area for around 10 minutes before I eventually located.
Found with 3LG.
TFTC and loved the horse in the paddock.
A fav point for the horse today.

Staying in Mt Gambier for a few days of relaxation with the hubby and geokids (age 4 & 6). Naturally I had to pick up a few caches in this cache filled town! This afternoon I left the kids and hubby swimming and did some solo caching! This should've been a quick find but I walked over and over it for far too long! Finally cache in hand and logbook signed. Many thanks
dont know why we havent done this one before
as we have done the cache just down the road.
oh well quickly spotted and signed.
out for a full on day of geocaching with hevwalker12.

We were concerned when we arrived at this location because a slasher had been through the roadside grass. We hunted around for a few minutes and much to our surprise, we located the cache. It was only a little battered but it was still intact and the contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache and series SE_SA_Geocachers.
After a dnf at the rda cache, would try another on way home at what I though would be a quick stop and find based on other logs. Nope, gps reading 0 metres and still not finding it till I went A over T cause I had been standing on it and slipped off when I went to step back. Needless to say WE FOUND IT and I left to finding some bandaids.
Oh no !!
Not Mountopoly again !! [:o]
I was never any good at this game
So while I drove me 'iron' around the mount this morning (oh why couldn't it be the sports car ?), I ended up here in the 'burbs.
This must be Old Kent Road
There was a dog !!
A bluey [:o]
I sat in the car for a while while it annoyed the horses and the horses chased it around the paddock.
Lots a laughs
Of course when I got out of the geomobile the bluey forgot about the horses and came over to meet its new best friend
What a shame it had not been trained a bit better
"Where's the cache hidden ?" I asked.
No hints given, but my right leg got a good humpin' [:o]
OK !! Blue .... nuff's nuff .... where's the cache ?
Oh !! There
Good dog .... STOP that !!
Shoo ... go annoy the horses while I sign the logbook
Well that was fun

Last one before embarking on a long trip home. Had to rely on the mobile for this one and it was waaaaay off! After a bit of a search the juniors came up with the find (again!!) Since this one is right around the corner from the airport we decided to drop Pinky Pie Races here. Hopefully someone will have time before their flight to pick her up so she can continue on her journey to the Sydney Opera House. TNSL. TFTC and contributing to an enjoyable trip to the SE.
This cache was found on Tema Danden and Geo_nan's impromptu geocaching day. This cache was the first one that Geo_Nan actually found without my assistance for the day!
TFTC Guys,
Team Danden are at it again!

A quick grab of a cache that was very exposed. Didn't want to cover it completely but tried to make it a little less obvious. Thanks, with only a day and a half in Mount Gambier we can't do all in this series but will save what information we do get for our next visit.
A quick find for us here today
The first of the Mountopoly series for us as we drove down from Naracoorte after attending the BLEII and through Penola

Number 2 of 12 for the day.
Found with Boo and Boomba in tow.
Nice and easy find. Thought it may have been in the little hut across the road but the GPS never lies.

Our game rules aren't being followed on this game, we all jump out of the car & look around. Its now a race to see who finds first. Were not following the board game now either. We search the map of Mount Gambier and do a circle from home to home. This GZ had my phone going up & down the fence line. Put phone away, looking looking, saying hello to a friendly visitor on the other side of the fence (horse) & there it was, geomum to find this one. TFTC
Nice find by little-miss... Took a baby-doll and left a mirror ball necklace. TFTC
Quick find after visiting nearby airport. Thanks again and the first of my Chest finds!!
Got this one just on dark. Geodad got snagged and ripped his jeans so looks like shopping tomorrow
Aussie M & M were visiting from Adelaide... I told them how good this series was.... So we were trying to finish all of the series
Thanks to all who made this series so good

Visiting the Mount once again and this trip was mainly for a friendly game of Mountopoly. We had heard some good things about this series, and it didn't disappoint. TFTC SE SA Geocachers.
We stopped for afternoon tea as there seemed to be a lot of muggle action along the road. Eventually Mr M made the find and won 2nd prize in a beauty contest.

I stopped the car right next to GZ, and started to have a look around.
Then I heard a voice from across the paddock "Have you found it yet?"
I thought 'what the heck', I said "no not yet". The person on the other side of
the paddock was none other than "GOSHAZ". Had a bit of a chat with goshaz
then found the cache and I left a TB "Alvin".
