It was just one of those nights...
You know those nights where you picture yourself relaxing on the couch after a long week at work, and yet you somehow find yourself exploring an unfamiliar region in the dark with inadequate torches and no clear plan?!
Just another Friday really, lol.
In the company of BendSinister, we investigated, found and maintained a number of caches in these parts tonight. And when we were about to part ways, the recurring mantra of "just one more" returned. So we ventured from the convenient car park over to this point of interest. It took a minute for me to get the thrust of things here, but after some intuition and intention the smiley was mine.
The log had become a mish mash of damp scraps so BendSinister reached into his component pouch for a handy dandy new logbook, and now the cache is as good as new.
Thanks so much, jithi5. This is another very well conceived cache which is most satisfying to find.
Cheers.

I recommended this one while in the vicinity with the Welder, not realising it was disabled. It was all intact and in pretty good condition. Inserted a new dry temporary logsheet in sealed bag. [Late note (10/11) because the Welder has not yet logged a 'found' log conveying the same. ]
I am happy to adopt this if the CO is no longer playing. I live locally and am always in the Langwarrin Flora and fauna so easily able to keep up maintenance.
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention
Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook. Unfortunately, there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log for this cache, which leads one to the contention that the cache container is no longer weather proof.
I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; ***"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."*** see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance ) and here's how; [Temporarily Disable and Enable,](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) also check out this Blog: [Helpful Tips To Keep In Mind As A Geocache Owner.](http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/)
Please respond to this situation by **14th October** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Out night caching with geoturtle, Jascat, 4bait, mark9375 & papillon 4506. During our travels we found this one. Another great hide of yours in this series. TFTC
Found with Geoturtle37, Jascat, MazzaG, 4bait and Mark9375. Jascat organised a group outing for a few night caches and we picked up this one along the way. This one was a quick and easy find and we were soon on our way again. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Out this evening to grab a couple of night caches with Jascat, MazzaG, 4bait and Mark9375. Had found a couple of caches nearby, and after disturbing a couple on what appeared to be a clandestine meeting and being questioned by an even dodgier guy, located this cache. I left the others to sign this as we were a little concerned about the dodgy guy, so I went back to the cars. Found GZ and signed the log. Thanks for the cache.
Found after completing the night cache with papillon4506, mazza-g, 4bait and Mark9375. We did get stooped by a stranger in the carpark asking if we had found any treasure: He looked to be setting up camp for the night.
Knew what i had to do but had to wait for a quiet time! So awesomely constructed. Log very damp tho.
No screwdriver just a screw cap which we screwed back but log is water logged . Great cache
We had an idea of what needed to be done from reading the cache page and with a bit of balancing soon had the cache in hand. A well constructed arrangement. The log was soon extracted and our name added before dismounting. TFTC. A favourite point from us.
After attempting this one in the past and learning that at the time it was missing, I was happy to see that this cache was up and going and I would be able to finally reclaim this smiley. As I thought last time the cache was exactly where I expected it to be. The cache was quickly collected and signed..... but the swag had scattered everywhere, as that was collected and returned to the cache. Just saying that the log is a bit damp, not to bad but it might want to be checked out in the future. Anyways thanks for the cache and little walk.
I intended to attempt this cache first once I got on the trail but there were some muggles in the carpark across the rd and figured I'll try on the way back. Extracted the cache ok this time and took it to a quieter area to sign the log. In good condition. Returned safely. Happy to finally log this one. Never seen so much PVC piping in my life! I guess not much else would be suitable though.
Thanks for keeping the cache going jithi5.

A nice easy find thanks to hints and previous logs. Was nice to get to use my Swiss army knife my husband got as a present for me recently too. The amount of times I would of driven right past this cache in my lifetime!
Co-ords good and found most likely site. Improvised to get to cache and gradually removed it to log find. All back safe. Well constructed and clever cache
Saw that this had been found recently and was keen to check it out assuming it had been replaced. Jumped up but couldn't get the cap off, tugged at the knot but didn't budge. Should've brought the tyre crowbar along for a bit of leveridge. Will return.
After noticing that Jithi5 had done maintenance on another cache near this one, I was passing thru and I stopped to take a look.
As soon as I arrived I noticed something that was different in the location where I thought the cache may have been last time.
Replacement Geocache found and signed, with lots of swaps available.
Thanks for another great cache and for getting this one up and running again Jithi5

Edit - Not sure how the "Needs Maintenance" flag gets turned off, but this has been performed now.

Suspect I found the location where the cache is supposed to be, but it looks damaged and doesn't look like I am able to get to the log.
Always appreciate the work jithi5 has put into all of his caches, and am sorry that it looks like this one has been damaged.

First visit to this area. Had hoped to see this cache with so many favorite points but having climbed up found nothing. Thank you CO for all the hard work it takes to maintain caches. I know its disappointing when things keep going wrong. Sad I missed this one.
Really disapointed to see this was stolen... please please please do not archive your other caches! There is still hope!
I think I found where the cache was meant to be and then read the log. It should be disabled if it's not there.....
Thanks!

Well... what can I say.
I received an email from a cacher that has informed me that some thieving mongrel cacher has stolen this cache!
Topped off with the re-validation of my 2nd version of Napoleons Pandora, all with in 2 weeks.
Not much to say except I will be pulling all my caches from this site and taking no further part with this once enjoyable game as this has been happening all to often.
If anyone wants to take them all over, then in box me.
Ian.

Found the cache and removed the fastener, but could not open. Tried tapping and turning (with pliers) but no luck. Not sure if you count this as a find seeing as we didn't sign the log? Great hide!
Have been out a fixed the issue.
I have taken away the whole pin idea as some people just still could perform a simple task!!!
The cache is now connected to the lid via string. This way, even if the cache falls free, it is still attached so anyone can still retrieve it.
Hopeful, this new idea isn't beyond that small minority of people that can't follow even the simplest of instructions.

Found this but there was not a pin, screw or whatever thru the container. We replaced it with a twig but unfortunately when replacing in its home we think the container fell down. Sorry....
Find #2084
On the way back from a couple of lunchtime finds this one was near to where I had left the car so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to check this out too. I had a suspicion where it was likely to be and once the coast was clear of both cars and pedestrians I did the necessary. All I can is this again was the excellent work I have come to expect in this series. I was careful to return all as intended as I could see the risk in this one! Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for another great cache jithi5. A favourite point coming your way.

Out for a late afternoon/night ride, this was my final cache for the night and my favourite.

Ninja skills required for this on on a wet and slippery summers night! Very enjoyable. Made sure pin was back in place. Tftc.
Found this fantastic hide today. Not used to doing acrobatics to make the find but was fun. Although I didn't need a screwdriver, I made sure that it was reassembled and tested when I left it. A favourite from me. TFTC.
Found while in the area trying to complete the nearby Multi. Fortunately I had a suitable tool with me (BorisB) and the log was signed. What a unique version of this type of hide. Tftc
Good spot put it back in didn't take a screwdriver but the screw wasn't on properly anyway so we got it.
This one was a lot of fun, we were very creative in our way to get to the cache. Made Geopartners day, she decided it was worthy of a favourite point and to be the first cache we dropped our pathtag in. TFTC
Over on holiday and attending the Melbourne Mega collecting caches along the way.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

We pulled into the car park and came straight over to this one. After a bit of a clamber we managed to reach this one and get the log signed. I was extra careful to return the pin and the screw before putting the cache back into its spot.

long weekend and thought we'd find some caches on foot, walked about 5.8kms over all today in the Langwarrin park.. what a lovely place.
Didn't have a screw driver but wait we picked up a multi tool earlier in another cache... soon had it opened and signed...
thanks jithi5

A neat hide, not a muggle in sight today. We found it after an expedition in the Flora and Fauna park, which showed up as being a little nest of green boxes on our geo-map of the Mornington Peninsula.
Feedback to CO:- This one requires a "Special"Tool". It would be useful if the Attribute was used, as not all seekers read the fineprint.
Our thanks to jithi5 for bringing us here.

I remember looking at this last time I visited the reserve and although I was almost certain I understood what was going on, I let it be. Partly because of activity in the carpark and partly because I've had wrist problems that have precluded certain manoeuvres. The former didn't apply today so it was surely time to test the state of my wrists. All was well, so I finally saw the blessed thing. It was worth the anticipation! Have to admit that the stick currently serving as a pin worried me a little but it did seem fairly sturdy. Thanks jithi5!!
Even though The Rusty's are some years younger than me I am in better physical condition - at least on this one day!! As I don't have a dodgy back I did the required moves to access this cache. And I reckon I styled my descent pretty well! It took ages to extract the log as we tried with keys but then I remembered I had a Swiss army knife with a screwdriver in the car nearby. Used a stick as a pin. Loved the sly hints in the title!
Hera was onto this one while I was still aimlessly wandering around following my crazy compass needle. Her hunch turned out to be correct and she found the cache after displaying some moves that would have put a stripper to shame! I think she's been secretly practicing at home (she's going to kill me when she reads this!!!!!!!!!!). Hera raced back to the car to grab the tool to open the cache but upon unscrewing the screw we wondered how that kept the lid on as it didn't go THROUGH anything. That was when we realised that the pin is missing. We signed our names and put the cache back together MacGyver-style with a stick in place of where the pin goes. The next cacher will just need to poke the stick out with another stick.
A great design that I've not seen before. Fave point from me for originality. I really enjoyed this cache. Thank you

Fun cache loved the hint, didn't have a Phillips head so used a key instead. Screw back in position
Eventuall!! No pin so used a stick as dont want to be the one that drops it in!! Screwed it back up too! Awesome thanks!
Clever hide, another straight forward cache for us today TFTC

Loved this one and all your efforts thanks jithi5. Fav point from Cheeky Wink & GeoPuppy ;c) Visited twice on the 1st visit I was introducing Friends to the Fun of Geocaching but I didn't have the right tool. I loved watching the kids run in every direction as I read out the description - of course no one listened ;c) Then I repeated the Cache Description & giggling to myself as I knew where it was hidden but waited for the reluctant muggle adult to jump with joy as she discovered this clever hide.
Returned again with TheRobbos3266 & watched again as she wondered about looking for the right spot. Signed log this time as I had a the right tool. Cache all in tact and returned correctly. Thanks heaps

Out caching with Cheeky Wink. Bit of a workout but found it in the end. Lucky we had some tools with us too. All in good order. TFTC jithi5 much fun and very devious.
One of those times where there was a duh I know where it is moment and as I realised where it was along came the muffled. Sigh. Had to wait them out. All good.
Logging a find as I had the cache in hand, although it was unlike me to forget my geokit so I couldn't sign the log. I will return another day finish the job. TFTC!
Awesome cache, the first one of this kind for us, and we didn't forget the pin. TFTC
After reading the description arrived with the required tool retrieved logged and replaced. A fav point added. Thanks jithi5 FTC.
After finishing a lovely mother's day lunch cooked by my sister I was only a few kilometres from this park so dropped in since I lived near here 25 years ago but had never been in here.
Terrible weather today raining on and off but it held off pretty well while I was in this park with only a couple of small showers here and there until near the end when I had to abort the last cache due to a bit of a downpour.
This was a great cache, not too many muggles in the park due to the rain and cold so the search and retrieval ended up being pretty easy after I scanned the area and then new where it was from the description.
The plastic straw "pin" is still working but could probably do with a replacement soon. A favourite from me for my cache of the day.
Thanks jithi5 for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

It appears the pin is missing again. The tube fell from the cap as I removed the cache but fortunately I had a hand on the bottom part and caught it before it fell right in. Looked around for the pin on the ground but could not find. I threaded a plastic straw through the holes and taped the straw to the cache. That will hold it for now and stop the cache falling from the cap.
Last one for the day after doing a ride around the park. Creative hide, much appreciated. Took extra care to return just as found. TFTC

In the area to do the nearby night cache with 88andy88, daznjaneo & hergab69.
Back to the cars and noticed this one across the road. Headed over and knew what needed to be done. One brave one dodged the spiders and soon retrieved the cache.
All signed log. Cheers!
Oh and someone picked up a little something special on their shoe! Lol

Our last one for the night on the way back to our cars for OzHockeyChick , daznjaneo , hergab69 and I.
We had to cross the muggle highway to get to this one and as we had just come from the puppy cache not far away we thought we could smell something but trudged on anyway.
So in true caching spirit and of course bending the law not breaking to find this one we noticed that smell again......daznjaneo had found some puppy evidence and attached it to his shoe for memories sake......he lost some friends for that brief moment.
So after signing the cleverly hidden logbook and replacing it into it's great hide we returned to the car to get daznjaneo's puppy evidence removed and headed home. ( might state that things happen in 3 and daznjaneo has picked up 2 puppy bombs already lol )
TFTC and our night out in the wilderness of langwarrin was finished for the timebeing and noted to return to this great area and continue our quest for more caches.

What a great hide we came across after finishing over the road. Was starting to get dark. The boy had the right idea but struggled TFTC we got it in the end
Soo smart, found it quickly though did it with my newly made geokid friends and my geomum. Hit my head though:(
I've seen similar in England, but nothing like as well constructed as this. Great cache, definitely worth a favourite point. Cache in good condition, thanks.
WE had just completed the Flora & Fauna Reserve caches and decided that this was so close, so we soon had this one logged and returned.
