Had a lay day and after breakfast decided to cache locally for ones I could walk to. This was my first stop on a wide loop of Edithburgh. Cache easily grabbed before continuing on part and f the Yorke trail. Thanks earthlight and X-Trailers for the local caches in Edithburgh.
Great history of your family in the description!! Geez the changes your pop would have seen, these days the most we can see is suburban sprawl taking over areas.Another find along the trip on the York Peninsula, staying in Edithburgh and picking off caches as we travel and explore the coast and towns in between this lovely area. Staying at a house for the week and spending time enjoying the area instead of spending all our time jumping in and out of the car signing logs in generic caches, much more enjoyable. Although we did do some of the trails , well about 5 caches then did the tourist thing then did a few more in a random other spot, definitely not about the numbers for us haha. Thanks earthlight for the cache.
Tftc. Looked for this 6 years ago. Have come back to the York and turned a blue face yellow
Found after dinner. quick find.
Out with the JAMS crew for a weekend down the York's. The JAMS members along this weekend were JJ52, Allister w, Mogni and Sir_spectre. We came to finish off the last of the finish line for all of us and then goto a CITO event i was hosting near Kalpara. JJ52 and Allister W were target some certain cache types for the hard sounvier online bage. After Finishing the fishing line geoart we cached along the coast to Edithburgh and still only got to Edithburgh for dinner. Saturday was a cooler day for power trailing and only 1 snake was sighted, sunday started off cold but soon turned in to nice caching weather. We stopped for lunch in Stansbury on the way home.

The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) crew went on a Yorkes Adventure. There were a few targets for the weekend, including finishing the fishing line, hosting a CITO, clearing a few DNF's and just having some fun.
All caches were left better than we found them.
Thanks

Another weekend away with the JAMS team heading over to Yorkes to finally complete the fishing line along with other random caches that one or another of us had not found. It was a fun couple of days, Saturday was cold and windy along the coast but Sunday was a lovely sunny day with no wind, perfect for caching. After completing the fishing line...yay! we headed towards the coast and picked up a few caches around Port Moorowie before winding our way to Edithburgh where we stayed the night. Sunday morning we drove around Edithburgh then walked from there to Coobowie. After finishing there we headed to Wool Bay to avenge a couple of previous DNF's. Then it was lunch in Stansbury before heading to the CITO near Kulpara. A great weekend and lots of different caches found.
It was getting dark now but we had time for 2 more before heading back to the caravan park.
Thanks for the cache earthlight & The X-trailers.

The three of us were spending some time on Yorke Peninsula, and today we went for a drive around southern Yorke Peninsula.
I'm happy to report that TeenTardis found this cache in the first place he looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache earthlight.

Found this cache after a trip down the York peninsula with hevwalker.
We caught up with a likely bunch for dinner and went out caching after, as you do...
Some of these caches were a bit tricky at night time, but luckily, there were two of us.

Headed to YP with clare007 for a caching weekend which included an evening event...
After the event this evening Clare & I went out into the darkness to collect a few extra caches...
We saw this location during the day...
At night the shadows hid the cache well and it took longer to find...
We did so and put our name in the logbook...
Thanks for sharing your ancestral History earthlight

A quick stop in here before dinner this evening. Cache was easily found and is all good
A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

Spending the long weekend on the Yorke Peninsula. I parked the car in Coobowie and I set off on my bike towards Edithburgh. A great path between the two towns makes for an enjoyable ride and perfect for geocaching. I picked lots of geocaches along the way.
Once at Edithburgh, I explored the town and grabbed a couple more caches south of the city before returning back to Edithburg for some dinner.
One or two were difficult finds, but the vast majority were found without problems. All caches were in good condition.
Thanks for the cache earthlight & The X-trailers.
