### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as one that may need attention. Perhaps it is time for the CO to check on this one please.

I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Your prompt attention to logs that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers. It is generally accepted that 3 consecutive DNF's is reason enough to check, see here: [**Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance )

Please respond to this situation by **17th July** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved.

**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

I took the quick option and parked on the nearby street and enjoyed the short walk to GZ. Once there, and once the GPS settled down, the cache was quickly found.

The log book was moist, but not too bad. Thanks for the cache.

Out with Cathlud for the day with the goal of collecting a few caches and solved puzzles in the area. When we first arrived in the area we took a second look at the terrain rating and thought that it did not match the descent. Then thankfully we spotted the steps! Much easier access. Lots of rubbish around here at the moment. The log was soaking wet and needs maintenance. TFTC.

Out for a day geocaching with jeckleberryandtedd.
We were enjoying our little walk beside the creek until the GPS indicated that we needed to go down the bank. Based on the terrain rating we thought that the GPS was incorrect until we saw the nicely constructed steps. At the bottom we found a few piles of rubbish that we didn't want to examine and then spotted the cache a short distance away. I was very impressed by the decoration on the cache. TFTC

Out on a 10k clean up run starting on the northern boundary and this was the 8th found today on this cold winters day. Not a sole around perfect.
Nice area for a cache too, first time here.

I tried this one years ago and I don't know why I didn't get back here sooner,
quite an easy find this time, last time there was rubbish dumped around this spot.
you may want to change your hint, yellow fingers are green now,

Off for a walk along a track you wouldn't know was there had trouble locating a start point but once i did it was lovely. passed many beautiful houses along the way - don't think anyone lives in them...very quiet even on this glorious day . Found the starting point of the hunt but had trouble locating the cache. Retreated to th steps to sit and look at previous logs and then to just soak up the surroundings, looked around and hey what is that !!! out in the open !!! yes the cache. Signed log and replaced but think CO might need to visit to replace where it should have been hidden. I have replaced in a hiding spot but of cours not sure if this is original position . TFTC

25-Feb-16
Found it by accident as I live very close, knew a little about geocaching, but I have no idea how it is still there as the little creek floods like no tomorrow after rains. Maybe the box could go around the trail (from the top of the steps keep following the path) and then it is higher ground, just a thought.

Smile

Thanks for your message RyanLundie.

This particular cache has survived many floods and has been positioned carefully (as mentioned in the description). You're best to just enjoy the game and not question the placement of caches by those who've been at it for some time.

There's several other caches along this path, stretching all the way to Quambee Reserve. I hope you enjoy Geocaching. The area is riddled with fun hides.

I spent far too long looking for this a couple of weeks ago with no success. Today I was back in the area with Geoturtle37 so we decided to have another look. In less than 2 minutes Geoturtle37 had spotted the cache just outside of my previous search area. It just goes to show, two heads are better than one. Smile Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

A nice sunny day to go out and find a handful of caches in our local area.
This was number three on the list, a nice walk to GZ and a short search had the cache in hand, nice hide dropped of TB.

Oh man. I lifted rocks moved fallen logs. Poked the ground. Climbed up and down the slope. The hunt made no sense what so ever. Only when I climbed back up the stairs did the hint make sense. But I assume it was only to locate ground zero. Bummer!

Met another cacher, 4evatinks, while searching. GPS was a little vague but the cache was found and we all signed the log. This was the first time we had met someone during our searches and it was nice to be able to chat for a few minutes.

This was my last one i was aiming for today. Had wandered across from sweet piggy. As i was walking i noticed a couple walk off into the bush and thought "i wonder if they are caching" my gps took me past them but then swung back so we introduced ourselves and continued the hunt. lynjoh located the cache and we all signed the log. They were heading to sweet piggy so we wandered off together and chatted along the way.

Beware if you are aiming for this one. There is a big hill if you park in green point road so take care. Tftc.

Out on an early morning trip with the younger geo-boy. We have done the first quambee caches so trying to finish the series. We enjoyed the quiet walk along the creek and saw an awesome green and red rosella. Had a little trouble finding the cache, but re-checked our coordinates and thee it was. Picked up the track able thanks

Had to go out today to get the 15 year geocaching badge, so took my daughter to a few local caches we hadn't found yet. This is a nice little secluded area I never knew about before! Took a little bit of finding but not too hard. Thanks for the cache. Dropped the Breast Cancer Travel Bug.

Suscoe was enjoying a wander in the Ringwood suburbs today on a cloudy but pleasant late Autumn day.
The rain kept away but the clouds were heavy at times.
This was our 15th find of 22 for the day.
All was quiet here today as suscoe investigated the Basement.
After an extended search the cache was found a few metres away from where the GPS was saying to go.
Thanks to toxiemite & s-bomb for showing us this spot.

10.20am Out for a morning of caching. Having parked some 400 metres away I enjoyed the shady walk to GZ. Pretty obvious which direction is needed to go but needed to widen my search to kick the goal. A bit of rubbish about here.
Thanks for the cache toxiemite & s-bomb

Wider search finally located it! Filled in log.

08-Jan-14
Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee, Lochb and pprass (signed as ABMP), at 1450. A pleasant walk in from the road. The hint became clearer once we arrived near GZ, but really only gave general directional guidance. We had to widen our search a fair bit before pprass finally found the cache. David has a similar outfit to Freddy's, and caused something of a stir around the campfire at last year's Midwest Geobash. Our thanks to toxiemite & s-bomb.

08-Jan-14
Found in the company of Maccamob, pprass, and Lochb on a most enjoyable day caching. This one took us a few minutes but once the search was widened far enough it was an easy find.

08-Jan-14
Found at 2:53 PM GAFF3 (although the hint was as useful as a screen door in a submarine!) in the company of Alansee, lochb and maccamob. We were all looking in ever increasing circles until the cache was finally found in a very unassuming spot. When we saw the picture on the inside of the lid, maccamob then recounted how he was accused in the USA of looking like Freddy when he wore a red and black hooped shirt and his Cattleman Akubra Big Grin
Thanks toxiemite & s-bomb.

30-Nov-13
I headed out with my two boys today for a day of caching around. We mainly cached in the north eastern suburbs through Ringwood to Bundoora, picking up a variety of cache hides and a number of puzzles I had solved that I could finally get out and find. We ended up with thirty finds for the day, including a 'nemesis' cache which I was had to finally have found. The weather was great and the three of us had a great day.
This had turned into a 'nemesis' cache for me after several visits to the area and no luck each time. The boys explored while I searched for the cache. Starting at the top of the embankment I worked my way down to the bottom where I quickly spotted a likely hiding spot and there it was. It certainly wasn't at that location the last times I came here but glad to finally sign this one off. I'm assuming now the hint indicates the yellow poles then head down the stairs.
Thanks.

Tftc. Took a while to work out where to park. Got it after a couple wrong turns. Big_beno.

25-Oct-13
Came, looked but didn't have any success. I think I had the Hint worked out but it didn't help.

17-Oct-13
The clue doesn't make any sense,
It should be at the poles, but my gps had me down the steps and near garbage bags.
I really wasn't keen to search through rubbish.
I search around for a while with no luck.
[:x]

25-Sep-13
Walked over here from the Pony Club and football oval, found the yellow fingers and walked down, but not sure that put me much closer to the cache. I didn't understand how where I was standing would be safe from flood-waters and neither the Garmin or Android wanted to settle, but both were quite sure that GZ was low down. I searched around until it got dark before giving up on this one.

24-Sep-13
Third one on this morning's assault on our personal 4K mark. It took a while to find this one and just as I was about to PAF the Linears, I spotted the hide at 11:05.

Like so many others before us, we had absolutely no idea what the hint meant and wondered whether it's worth actually having it there in the first place. [?]

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks toxiemite & s-bomb.

24-Aug-13
This was the one we were building up to, so we took the advice for a close access and arrived near GZ. The hint did not make much sense and we wandered around kicking rubble for a while. Taking a wider perspective the cache was spotted at 17:25, safe and sound. TFTC

24-Aug-13
Nice walk in this little hidden gem ... Approached GZ and spotted cache from a distance, very exposed. Signed that log and then spotted another cache very close, signed that log too (is there meant to be 2?). TFTC

31-Jul-13
Spent almost an hour here and ended up leaving without finding the cache. The clue made no sense to me so was no help. The cache page is out of date as the cache seems to have been relocated since first published and I couldn't say how many times I went up and down those stairs. Will be back some time.

30-Jul-13
Tftc doing it with a broken finger is not as easy oh well. Was a lot easyer to find in the daylight Smile

28-Jul-13
Second find of the day!

24-Jul-13
I found this cache today at 4:55pm as the 2nd of 6 on a quickfire hour on the way home. Not being sure of the best access point, I started at Little John Road and followed the path down across the little creek and along the main path. Although I spotted a couple of closer access points, I was glad that I took the way in that I did and I really enjoyed the walk through the mini bushland and it was just what I needed after a busy day in the office. Once again, a really strange hint though and if I was relying on it to assist to find the cache, it would have led me well away from where the cache actually is. My favourite cache of the evening. Thanks from D B-A.

This was a bit confusing. Found a large cache just sitting out in the open about 10m off the coordinates so we signed that, then noticed a nice new much smaller cache a bit higher up so signed that one as well. TFTC's.

14-Jul-13
Thanks for that Spiffy... looks like the old cache has been retrieved (was thought to have been swept away in recent flooding). That's great news. We will get down there as soon as we can to make sure everything's hunky dory. Sorry for the confusion. =)

14-Jul-13
Found this one while out with Spiffy-. Had us scratching around for a while, but I finally saw it just lying there. All nice and dry. I put a small rock covering 505 of it so it could still be seen but would not wash away.
Then Spiffy noticed another cache just a couple of metres away in the tree. So we signed that one too!
Little confused with this cache. Took the trackable

12-Jul-13
it was tricky cos I didn't understand the clue. but it was easily findable cos nothing hid it.you need to put something on it to be a good hiding spot. and there was a cache above it and I did not notice it in the map.[?]

12-Jul-13
AshlehDuckeh, thanks for your log note. If you read previous notes you will see that this cache was recently swept away by flooding waters and that a proper camouflage is on it's way. Im a busy person and will get it done when time permits. Also, the hint makes perfect sense when you figure it out! Not much point being easy!

It must not be that easy spent 30mins with my partner and did not find it I hope it's not moved

28-Jun-13
Took the quick grab parking option, but it wasn't to be
GPS kept pointing me below recent flood debris mark. Groundcover mudded and no joy.
Hope it wasn't washed away?!!!

28-Jun-13
Thank you to the last visitor. We quickly checked up on the cache and is has definitely been swept away.
The waters had risen far higher than we've seen before.

We have replaced it with a brand new container, hidden at the same GZ, where it can NEVER be touched by rising waters. This has been a quick fix and the cache is easily visible to a geocaching-eye... we will return over the next few days to add an effective camouflage for a trickier hunt.

10-Apr-13
Found with dad. Back dating my logs now that I have my own account.

10-Apr-13
Unless I am missing the whole point of this cache, this one needs maintenance. There is no cache, just a single piece of paper from the log book.

10-Apr-13
Well Geo-son and I looked around every where. We turned over rocks, we frisked through ferns and we shoved our hands and fingers into every hole we could find. But nothing. Just as we were about to give up, in some form of frustration I turned over a piece of paper and low and behold, I found it! Well I found the log-sheet anyway (see pic). So I am claiming this as a find as I signed the log sheet (even though I didn't find the cache). I put the log sheet back in the most obvious hole that I am guessing the cache was in (given the clue). The CO might want to check on this one quickly as a log-sheet out here by it-self will not last long without a cache of some sort to protect it.

10-Apr-13
Thanks for the heads-up. How frustrating, particularly with a cache like this. I will check on it this afternoon. There SHOULD BE a water-tight plastic container with log book and trinkets inside. Will report back shortly.
