Find No. 1854. Found at 3.10pm.
Went for a drive in the geoute over to Myers Flat area to grab a few caches. Took geodog Penny with us and FUF009 came along for the day as well.
Nearly walked away with a DNF on this one but after a second look over the area we found it so very deeply hidden. Because of the hiding spot we guess it has been under water as the cache is waterlogged and log book soaking wet which we were unable to sign. Left a piece of paper with out names on it. This one definately needs maintenance.

We had fun today finding the last of Litoria raniformis which made our total finds 400
Unfortunately could not find. Searched for a while, few car tracks leading in and out of the spot though
Thanks for a great cache the first for our weekend of caching. Log signed. TFTC
Again, Geocache Boy did the honours in finding this clever little cache with me this afternoon.

Tftc. A lot of traffic here today, considering it's a dirt road!! I had s few options of hidey holes but found the right one after a few minutes. It's so so dry around.
Out looking at a Neilborough garage sale. Quick and easy find. Thanks. Took nothing, left $50
Was happy to get off the main road to look for this one and others in the area. Froggy was found fairly quickly after a short search. TFTC!
team T I N S out for a full day caching the Bendigo area. the PPT and a lot of other caches around the area. another cute hide tftc
It was road trip time and three days traveling and caching was quickly planned. An early morning start and the first location was Mt Buller. From Mt Buller I headed to Bookham in NSW and stayed there the night before hitting the Endangered Species series of caches, starting early the next morning. Heading South West I stopped at Gundagai to visit a 'dog', continued through Walla Walla and Urana before crashing just out of Berrigan. The third day I continued west to Echuca then south through Bendigo and the final stretch for home.
The weather was good on day one but later that night it started to rain and continued for the next two days. Needless to say I did get quite wet on occasions, and some of the country roads I followed where no place for a 2WD, the Prado would slip and slide but luckily kept moving forward. By then end of the trip there was another 1800 km on the clock, 239 cache finds, 2 DNFs and 5 FTF's just to top it off. Thanks to all the CO's for the caches I found and the places they brought me to.
Found the cache after a short search. Thanks for the hide.

Is there a rule that this has to be done in order? Of course there isn't, thank goodness, because I hopped all around the place to attack this series. It was a bit warm out, but not so warm that I felt I would croak.
Anyway, the caches seemed to leap out at me so there was nothing for me to really growl about, which is good.
When frog hunting it is useful to have a very long stick. With a warmish day I was expecting snakes to be out. After all, if I were a snake I would be out on a day like this...
With the frog soon found it was into the Quark mobile and off I trot.

We had a concerned local pull over to offer some assistance while looking for this cache who thought we might be in some trouble or lost. TFTC we swapped a gold bracelet for a thong keyring
Find # 1878 @ 1153 H
Being on holidays what a better way to spent a day than planning a caching day and to head north of Bendigo.
This ended up being a day of 42 finds, way over what I expected and almost 400ks travelled (a lot of back tracking and some getting lost in the bush, But the GPSr did say there was a road there!)
Seeing the obvious I was sure to have this in hand in no time but alas it was not to be, after a quick check of the GPSr I soon discovered I was about 5m form the hide. Always trust the GPSr first.

Rule #1 - trust your GPS. I was misled by false assumptions and geotrails heading in wrong directions before I returned to rule #1 where I found your cache.
Good placement!

Suscoe's 13th find of 36 for today as we headed out to the North West and North in the great company of our mate Bushfire.
This was to be a full day of wandering about clearing up many caches together.
We had a great time and enjoyed the terrific country side that we passed through.
Thanks to Casper9 & Miss Mary for this cache and the whole series, great to meet each cache.

Woke up this morning to a very white, cold bleak outlook but I am sure it will improve later.
In Bendigo for a few days to add some smileys on as many mysteries, multi's and a few traditionals. Plus a few cache needed for my A to Z challenge.
The suscoe cachers and the ageing Bushfire have the full range of caching gear with the exception of the kayaks and the wheels to get us to most locations, carrying all the technical gear you could think of.
Lovely area that I have never been to before.
I had to check where #5 was but not out this way.

#638 - Lovely Sunday afternoon collecting a few recent caches. We really enjoyed what we did of this series, we often have these little creatures stop by in our backyard pond and can hear them at night. TfTC guys
We enjoyed cruising round this whole area on this lovely sunny day. Only a couple more left to complete the set. Thanks for bringing us here, Casper9 & Miss Mary, an enjoyable day.
This was our 1st cache find in the caching run & we found it at 11:19
So this now makes our total find count 6345.

We really enjoyed this series. Thanks for putting some thought into the containers, swaps and hides. It's really nice to find caches that aren't empty 200ml Sistemas or Eclipse tins tossed under a bush.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left:Carabiner.
Thanks Casper9 & Miss Mary for the hunt today.

Found at 11.55am.
The last of the series and the last for the day.
I thought it was the 31st today, hence, the 6 Litoria raniformis logs found today each have the wrong date on the log book.
Now it's time to go home, do my logs, and then check my Supercoach team for any late changes, then, beer and footy time. Which establishment will have the pleasure of my custom for today.
Have a great Easter Casper9 & Miss Mary, and thank you for todays frog hunting.
Thanks for the series.

Nice to see a larger container but the guardian has decided to part ways I'm afraid. TFTC

With the growling grass frogs plugged into the GPS'r we set off to track them down. We didn't manage a sequential order but thoroughly enjoyed the well themed series. It was exciting to be among the early finders as we are not really locals any more.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Casper9 & Miss Mary.

I've managed to find caches in this series after I've completed my workday. On a few occasions I have been at work when the ping of a published cache has echoed from my phone and I have been tempted to rush off to attempt a FTF, however I have resisted the temptation. The series is interesting and the caches have proven to be not difficult to locate due to some very good coordinates. Many thanks Casper9 & Miss Mary for taking the time and effort to place this series.
Found by Roma and Max.
Good numbers again here helped us select from several possible niches close to GZ and we soon had this little frog in hand!
Signed the log in the presence of a large mob of kangaroos grazing in the paddock over the road.
Thanks once more Casper9 & Miss Mary.
Cheers,
from Romax.

As soon as I turned the email on and saw this cache just up the road from my house, I launched into action and raced to the GZ. As I neared the location, I saw tyre tracks and realised that I would be too late. You have to get up very early to beat Romax to a cache!
