Thanks to the hint it was quite a quick find for my 7yo daughter after a nice stoll round from the west. A man was kayaking nearby. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
Didn't find it this time, and there were muggles about last time so this was an unsuccessful hunt today, but will be back .
Found @ 11:48am after doing the trial Queanbeyan parkrun (it launches next week)
The colour of the cache blended in well. I dropped off the Devonportd TB.
Thanks justjessie

Had to hunt around a little bit for this, then read the description properly and soon had CIH. The clue says east, but my compass was saying north side of pillar.
Beautiful location as you enter the lakeside from the path, so have included a photo and a Fav point. Cache in good nick.

Thursday 26 January 2017 (Australia Day) - a hot, still, muggy Summer's afternoon in the low thirties. A bike ride and short walks over three hours clocking up a couple of kilometres to find 11 from 12 caches. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC justjessie.
On holidays from Brisbane and staying in Canberra for 4 days. This being our first day, it was time to hit the road around lunch time. I apologise to the CO's for the generic comments, but I can assure you each cache found was great to find, as it brings you to spots where you would not visit. Looked around GZ and in no time it was found.
Visiting from the Gold Coast for 4 days and this afternoon after arriving at the airport we decided to head out this way. Thanks for all the wonderful hides.
We haven't cached for a little while so it took us a little while to find! But feeling good after finding it
I had a happy morning with Bettyboo3747 walking, chatting and oh yes caching in the area. As Monty (my new GPSr) and I still aren't talking the same language, I hauled Little Red Riding Hood (aka my old GPSr ) out of the dark. Unfortunately I forgot to reprogram her (no maps!) No worries we still had fun and mostly were successful - 12 finds and 2DNFs.
After finding a cache across the road we started our wander around the lake. What a beautiful place this is. We were both entranced by the beautiful bridge, the wood ducks and the swans. The cache was a little tricky to find and we reverted to the hint. Bettyboo soon had the cache in hand. After signing duties were completed the cache was returned to its hidey hole.
TFTC abnd the series justjessie.

#11339. Day 9 of our two week Canberra Holiday with Robmc. A morning out caching with Smitten Granny to gather up a few more caches and have a social catch-up. We had a very pleasant walk around the lake and ended up with 12 finds and 2 DNF's for the morning before adjourning for a coffee and snack, and then homeward bound.
We firstly searched on one side and came up with nothing - I looked at the hint and then swapped sides and bingo there was the cache - 9 metres from where the GPSr was saying. Took a TankEngine Pathtag and left one of my Phryne - Mirror pathtags to replace it. On we go.
Thanks justjessie

TFTC found after a quick search. Well hidden and covered but hint tells you where
I came I looked, I didn't find. In my defence it was dark and there were roaming bands of zombies, skeletons etc out for Halloween.
No luck here. I will email you a photograph of the pillar where the GPSr identified as GZ... if the cache was there I doubt it's still in place as there are now bricks etc piled there... had no appetite for pulling them all away with nearby residents out in their gardens on this magnificent sunny day. Returned to our car to realise we'd inadvertently parked in a 'no parking' zone - oops, no wonder we got some filthy looks on arrival!
Found with my mum on a windy winter's day. We continued our lovely walk from #3 to this cache. We spotted plenty of bird life on the lake and the islands. The houses by the lakeside must be nice to live in! We also spotted about a dozen mandarins scattered across the ground near the lake - strange! This cache was nicely hidden - thanks justjessie!
After a lovely dentist appointment we decided a nice stroll was in order.
After getting FTF's many moons ago when this series first got published we thought we should come back out and try to get more of them. Now I think we only have one more to go.
Quick find at GZ although there was no paper in it when we opened it. So we walked back to the car and drove around with a fresh signed piece of paper.

Found with Geo Hubby and pooches. Awesum stunning day out on a mission to get my 800.......
Although there were a few muggles nearby, this was a good one to make a quick grab on. No problems and we enjoyed watching the bird life as we signed the log. Thanks justjessie
Geo-pup sniffed this one out, with a bit of coaxing from me after I had spotted it (But I needed the hint). A couple of curious young muggles on bikes startled me. TFTC justjessie
Out to Jerra to drop off one kid for a sleep over and take 2 back! Needed to finish off the Jerra caches and today was a nice day. Log full and a little wet. All good thanks.
also, log book is chokkers, somehow managed to write on the back page, but it will need a new log in the future
The cache was left very exposed here, so when i rehid it i tried to cover it up with some debris.
I ducked out for a bit of after-work caching therapy tonight. Jerrabomberra is not an area I have reason to visit much in the past, so this was a great way to check it out. I worked the caches around Lake Jerrabomberra for a start. My there are lots of low-flying planes here !
It took a bit of searching to locate this one. My GPSr had me much closer to the water. I had to read the hint to put me right. Tftc justjessie.

When I came past about an hour ago there was I picnic only a few metres away. I decided to get some others and come back. It paid off as no one was there when I got back.
Found on an ACT (and beyond) caching raid with Hoojar over 48hrs. We did some bike riding, plenty of walking and driving, some pouring rain and a bit of heat in the sun.
Quite liked this series of caches- we had a bit of rain but an interesting tour of a spot where I'd only been briefly before.

When steeba suggested a trip to Canberra and Queanbeyan to tackles some more power trails, I could hardly say no! Eventaully our diaries aliigned, and this was to be the weekend. We headed down on Friday evening, and were home again 48 hours later. A great weekend with lots of walking, riding, rain, heat, wind, and caches, lots and lots of caches!
We tackled this series in the rain on an early Sunday morning. At times it poured, and times it teamed, and at times it just rained. We finished the series regardless!
Cheers

Found with HypoHippo3000 on a sunny spring Saturday! A favourite point for showing is this great location. TFTC
Easy find , lots of muggles about but managed to find and return safely and discreetly! TFTC
Out with SecretSquirrel-BJC for a caching morning. Managed to pick up most of the Jerra pathways caches. TFTC
Aaaah!!! Beautiful day!!! Sunny, a nice chill in the air, very little breeze. I have maps and GPX files for a caching expedition by bicycle. Me mate Knightech, his daughter Knightech Jr, and her friend Keels247 decided on a bike ride to do some Jerrabomberra Pathways caches. Bad luck, GeoSchnauzers!!
No 4 of 13 today: The riding was easy, and we found every cache quite easily - after all four sets of eyes are good!!! Thanks for the series. Great day for a bike ride!!
