Took advantage of daylight saving and headed out for a wander around Beechworth. Thanks Bingley3683 for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment.
A super easy find. great for anybody of all ages and abilities. The container is in good shape although does have water in it just a little bit. The logbook is in great health.Thank you for the hide.
Nice quick park and grab after a more challenging multi earlier! We replaced the bag and log book as all were very wet and not able to be written on.

On our way home from the Rutherglen Mega Event. A detour to grab a cool virtual was on the cards for the long way home today and now we were finishing up an adventure lab and heading to a distillery. Thanks for the cache Bingley3683.

On the way to Beechworth to do some of the basketball series, found a few bonus caches on the way. TFTC.
We found just a few caches today together with ilook4geo and each found log had two more names noted on it as a record of our visit. This was a nice easy container to find. Thanks go to Bingley3683 for placing this cache.
Came along with goingplaces2 and located this cache successfully. Signed the log, all was replaced. Job done! TFTC.
Cache was found, the log was a wet mush of paper managed to scratch a sign - needs maintenance
Nice spot on the side of the road. Log book needs to be changed as covered in mould.
Way home and we couldn’t let this one be missed. Needs maintenance wet and mouldy couldn’t sign or swap.
The kookaburras thought it was an absolute joke when I rocked up to this location sprinkled in wattle!! But the joke was on them when the cache was found quickly! Unfortunately the log book is very soggy inside the container. TFTC
A beautiful morning to get outdoors in the sunshine with Bucrog52 and Matho64.

Thought we would go for 5 caches out at the falls on this somewhat chilly winters day, had a feeling we would only get 4 and we were right - another Appleford eluded us! .....
Omg the amount of people we saw when we arrived nearly had us turn away but we quickly assessed our walk in and walk out options, decided to stealthly park and grab the lookout cache and then try different parking spot for next 2 caches (which would take us away from the people and save us a water crossing) before checking out the Appleford cache and then drop by a Bingley p&g on our way home heading home...
Was a great afternoon out even if the geoteen did nearly cause a number of heart attacks near the many high drops!!!
All the finds were great hides that had us exploring a beautiful area close to home. Thanks to all the cache owners for taking the time to share these special places....
** log was very wet on this one, left a new log and put both in ziplock bag

Found with ILookedThere on a day out chasing waterfalls.
The littlest of the ILookedThere team grabbed this one first. [^] Even though it was possibly a job for someone slightly taller.
At least he is light.
TFTC Bingley, this parkngrab was certainly different to anything else of yours tackled this day, but just as appreciated.

We were on a hidden and seldom seen waterfall quest today with dalerious. This cache has been driven past too many times before so this time we had to stop.
ILT Junior found this one.
Thanks for the history Mick.

Found during our week at the Clear Waters MEGA event.
The weather gods certainly turned on some April sunshine for us.
Such an amazing week of caching around Canberra and surrounds.
Thanks to the CO for this hide it is always cool to see where there has been an old pub in the past and what the area might have been like.

Good spot for a cache but took a while to retrieve it due to an obstruction that was wedged but eventually managed to sign the logbook and replace it.

A neat little pull off, couldn’t see the chimney, but someone jammed a rock on top, I have taken a photo with my pen ready for action at GZ.

Quick find today with the geofamily as we made our way to Chiltern for a looksie. Many thanks for the cache.
On a nice spring day out for a drive and have been meaning to grab this one for years .tftc
#3,119 Starting to make our way home from Beechworth. Always enjoy history such as this, well spotted and researched Bingley. Quickly found the cache next to the creek of many names . We then went in search of the chimney which we eventually found, it is more concealed than the cache! TFTC.
Have another weekend in Beechworth where I intend to try and get a few caches, but needed one for the day and this was the quickest one on the way. Quick park and grab though more difficult to extract than it looks. Nice spot and thanks for keeping this one going.
I haven't been caching too much in the last few years, and subsequently I have been very lax in updating my cache logs. I am endeavouring to catch up by uploading my Garmin field note files! Apologies to the cache owners for my tardiness.
This was a quick and easy find. TFTC

Found by Mary & David at 1620. If you listen carefully, you might hear echoes of the sound of bottles and glasses clinking, laughter, and the chatter of those thirsty miners so long ago. Our thanks to Bingley3683.

We really enjoy learning more about the places we visit while geocaching, it was fascinating to read the details of the pub and the creek names. This is one of the caches we found after attending the Chiltern - Yeah Yeah Event.
Our thanks to Bingley3683 for placing this cache.

A day around Beechworth and looking at the various site and an odd cache or two
After stopping at Woolshed Falls we came past here on the way to the caves.
After stopping at Woolshed Falls we came past here on the way to the caves.
A couple of days in Beechworth to see all the sites and pick up a cache or 2
There was nothing to show where the pub used to be other than an odd triangle of land that was not fenced off.

Found with dad (day1976) and ahomburg. We camped nearby at Reedy Creek and awoke in the morning to find we were camped at the location where Aaron Sherrit was shot by the Kellys. Dad told me the story and I can't believe that we camped there!

Road Trip? Hell Yeah, especially to a beautiful area such as Beechworth. Headed out with day1976 and GeoJosiah on a bit of a boys weekend, camping overnight. A second beautiful day in a row, packed up camp and off we went to explore the area, test out the new 4WD and find some more caches.
Day jumped on this one in a matter of seconds.

Found it on a relaxing afternoon caching. I've always liked the drive through this part of the world as picturesque and enjoyable. Thanks for the cache and an enjoyable afternoon.
Dropped the caravan at Chiltern caravan park, and set out to find a few caches.
Not much here to look at anymore, but it's great to learn about local history.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Bingley3683, for us and others to find.

Nice quick pick up on the way home from a drive through the Chiltern Mount Pilot NP. Great little bit of history here. We had to search a bit to find the old chimney in the ivy: it's not too clear which is supporting which these days?
Tftc and little bit of history Bingley.

TFTC. Was there really a Hotel here? Just about all trace is gone. Nice easy drive by .
A nice quick find with my grandad after leaving Beechworth. We made a small visit to Woolshed Falls before finding this cache. It was slightly drizzling when I made the find. Thanks Bingley3683!
#3343 - 15:55; On a caching run around the Beechworth area with fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune including a couple of sections of the rail trail to Wangaratta. After a swing through El Dorado, it was back towards Beechworth and some challenge caches which were on the 'to do' list for the trip. Once they were taken care of, it was time for a couple more in the area as we headed back towards Beechworth. A nice quick find and sign on this one. TFTC Bingley3683
9588 + 1078 = 10666. Found during a trip down to the Beechworth region with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n.
After finishing a big chunk of the E2W and MMRT series we did a few caches around Eldorado then headed back to the Beechworth area. After a couple of Challenge caches we continued up the road for this one. Quick find. We Signed, return the cache, and then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks again Bingley3683 !
