19-Oct-24
We're newbies. Any other hints?

17-Sep-24
Too many muggles, right as the GZ, so we will have to come back another time.

15-Sep-24
Couldn't find today, might come back another day as we don't come here very often. Found some small stalactites though!

25-Jul-24
Omg ew. Out with rougewombat and um watch out for spiders inside and around the cache we accidentally let out a VERY loud scream and almost let the cache drop off the side yikes. Anyways log was saturated so tried not to tear the paper with the pen.

18-May-24
I DNF'd this cache six months ago but today I just walked up and it was in my hand very quickly. I don't know why I missed it last time. After cleaning out the ants nest I was able to sign the log, rehid the cache and be on my way.Thank you baluke for this cache.

27-Apr-24
A nice easy find on a perfect caching day. TFTC

24-Apr-24
TwoEms mused, water creature? One of us thought it looked like a CatDog!We came at night and waited out two muggle pups with flashing police lights on them. We thought they were security guards, as their owner circled them around the premises twice while we pretended to play chess and look way more interested in the sculpture than we ought to be.After the stealthy find, we took a wander down below and found a solar charging station which was more our cup of tea.Thank you for the cacheYes its art, but Angel is way better. The council could spend a few more dollars and at least give this poor Water Creature a bath to sit in, and then maybe wed throw in a few coins and make a wish like we did at the Angels feet when it once lived on water outside the National Gallery of Victoria.

14-Apr-24
Swung by this on the way back to the car after completing the nearby Wherigo. There area was relativity quiet with only a muggle family playing table tennis nearby. The cache was found in good condition after a short feel around. I think this art, who doesn't love good mosaic.

24-Feb-24
Someone moved it quite far from the join but found and moved back to the join. Thanks!

17-Feb-24
bunadoorian and I were in the area for a lunch but had some time up our sleeves. We came here and found many pieces of ART. The one in question was very colourful. We were able to search for the cache without too much trouble. bunadoorian eventually had the cache in hand. TFTC and for bringing us here baluke. I also enjoyed the solar shelters - what a great way for people to charge their devices - especially seeing so many households not that far away are without power still after the storms earlier in the week.

17-Feb-24
Grub62 and I arrived at GZ and the search was on. After a while I tried to see the container from afar but the sun was not in an adventurous place. So back to the standard style of searching. After a short while I managed to find the cache which is a little worn but serviceable. Thanks for providing my 5151st find and TFTC. PS I love the solar shelters provided so you can sit and charge your electronic devices.

Had a long look but not artful enough: David

18-Oct-23
Out this way with the family for the evening. Made an early find on this one during the journey back to town. Quick find thanks to the hint. Nice art work. Thanks for sharing this location baluke #2171

18-Oct-23
This was a quick stop during what I assumed was lunch break, but alas the place was empty, thankfully. A quick find and I was on my way again. I remember the old original council chambers on this site which were pulled down over the Christmas break when no-one (supposedly) was around to notice. That created a real stir within the community.

14-Oct-23
I was in Templestowe overnight to house and dog sit for our niece, and took the opportunity to search out a few caches on the way home. The cold and the intermittent drizzle kept the muggles away, but it still took a surprisingly long time to locate this one. Once the lidless container was found, it remained only to sign the log, and evict the arachnid from inside. TFTC baluke

13-Aug-23
I found your cache and signed the log baluke, thank you so much for placing it.

Thanks CO for placing. Greetings from Singapore

Quick find, pretty quiet out on the plaza this morning. Quite like the artwork, and enjoyed the historical society information plaques on the walk over from the shopping centre. Tftc!

19-Jul-23
Since im not premium, i cant find it using the mobile app, but it shows up on the computer! I remembered the location before hopping off the car to scavenge. It should be art tho...

18-Jul-23

I was lucky to be on the correct level to begin with. Wary of the spider mentioned in an earlier log, I was pleased it was elsewhere tonight.
Thanks for placing the cache baluke.

17-Dec-22
We first thought it was at the bottom, but after a bit we starting searching up top, once we found and opened it, a giant spider jumped out and scared me to death. Good Geocache.

09-Dec-22
Took us a while to find this one searching high and low on both levels. Eventually got there in the end after having a quick squiz at the interesting art

I was in the area and was walking back to the car after completing the nearby Wherigo. I decided to head out and have a look for this one. I was on the wrong level to start with, looking at different types of joins. Then I went upstairs and looked around. this still took me a while and the rain coming down was no help. Finally I found it in an area that did fit the hint,

I quickly signed the log and replaced as found and then headed back to the car just in time before a huge downpour again. Thanks for bringing me here and the hide.

*Cache find # 13121.*

I was needing a few cache finds for today and as I had to venture over this way for other reasons, I made the most of it and found this cache.

With the help of a great hint I was onto this one quickly which was a good thing as there were a lot of muggles leaving the nearby building.

**Thanks to baluke for placing this cache.**

Fairly quick find after checking out the Gallery

29-Jun-22
Ended up coming to Doncaster today to find "Doncaster Hill Walk" (GC9NN9Z) as I needed to find a Wherigo today for the "DotW Challenge Series - Cache types" (GC8F0HA) challenge cache that I am currently working on.

After I completed that Wherigo and found the cache I had a look to see what other caches were in the area. With this one be the next closest cache I headed on over to try and find.

I am definitely no artist and probably will never fully understand art, but I did enjoy checking out the sculpture near GZ. It was definitely neat.

This cache definitely evaded me for quite a long time and after having check several beacons to no luck, I had to resort to checking the hint. Armed with the hint knowledge, it still took be longer to find then I'd like to admit, but eventually the cache was in hand.

The cache container was in ok shape, the lid is missing but everything else is well intact and the logbook was clean and dry. TFTC

27,074. Found with minniek during Day 4 of our Southern Australian meander.

After the excitement and rushed activities of yesterday, we aimed for a more relaxed day today grabbing firstly some Local Government Areas and then some special caches around the City. After our 7-11 Breakfast that we picked up last night, we checked out of our motel and hit the road. A cache in LGA Manningham was next on the agenda, and we chose this one. A quick find by minniek. Signed/Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next cache on our list.

Thanks BaLuke !! Loved the artwork made from old slippery dips !

Fitzy_1965 and I decided to do a bit of a whirlwind holiday visiting family and caching along the way. We did three states in four days. Tiring but so worth it. We are just waiting for Western Australia to open up and then we will be there too!

Day 4 was another jam-packed day before heading home. After getting to our hotel around midnight, a sleep in was in order. Then we targeted some LGA’s before heading into the City for a few virtuals and an earthcache. Then off to the airport before flying back to Sydney and then driving home.

All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise stated. Thanks so much to all CO’s for your hides.

08-Feb-22
Well well, this was a thorn in our side. We have made multiple attempts at this one. On each occasion we we muggled-out and prevented from any serious search. With the cafe being open, a birthday party and others just wandering in the precinct. This time we were uninterrupted and were successful!!! Great to tick it off at an interesting peice of art. Weird and eye opening

We're visiting a friend nearby and grabbed this cache while we were here. I have to admit we're not fans of modern art so we definitely didn't stand around admiring the "Art" but we definitely admired this cache!

I love this artwork - it’s colourful, organic and quirky!

We were here for the 2020 Australia Day citizenship ceremony, and afterwards headed over here to fill a calendar hole. With four of us pouring over the area it wasn’t long before thedoctorswife made the find.

Triumphant, we all headed back to the car.

Managed to catch up with the lovely 4 B Ninja’s for a day of caching.
Car GPSr had us circling around until I decided to just park, and walk to gz. Once at the right level, the cache was soon in hand.
Interesting “art” indeed.

In the hope of catching up with OHC before the school holidays ended, to my surprise we were able to do it sooner than later. We have these wonderful days that our stars aligns this one was our 1st for 2020. We weren't to sure where we were going but the compass took us to the right spot, whether it was up or down. Once we went top, it became apparent this art piece had us at the right spot. Cleverly placed hide and we were lucky to have a quiet Saturday and we were able to sign the logbook fairly quickly. Thank you for maintaining and placing this cache.

#1602 - 11.40pm
I was in Box Hill this afternoon when I decided to sift through some second hand Yu-Gi-Oh cards for the Mini Welders.
It was kind of meditative, as I trawled through boxes and boxes of them. I was in the zone... And I kind of lost track of time - turns out I had been standing for 7 hours non stop and had only moved 2 metres in all that time!!
What reoriented me was that the shop was going to close - but oh nooooo.... still had 2 boxes to sort through!!
Lol.

Anyhow...
I stepped outside and realised I hadn't got my cache for the day. And by the time I got to the car, there was only 45 min left until midnight. I needed something close that (given the hour) wasn't near houses. So this arty cache was perfect.
When I pulled up I was pleased to see I had the scene to myself. I took a moment to reflect on the curious artwork before beginning the hunt. It seemed clear what the game was here, but where???
An initial foray revealed nothing, but that's when a couple of noisy muggles began to loiter over the road at the chemist. It made me reluctant to use torch light so from this point on search was done by feel.
It took a little while but my fingers eventually found what they were looking for.
It was a satisfying discovery to help bring in my birthday. Little did I know I was about to receive a message that was going to colour my next couple of months...
But that's another story.

Thanks so much, Baluke.
All is well here.
