Armed with jandals and a chilly bin, a couple of Aussies headed across the ditch for a 3-week tiki tour, exploring the beauty of New Zealand.DAY 17: Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo. Accidentally dropped the plastic bag and the wind took it away so GT37 had to go chasing after it. Thanks for showing us this special place by placing this cache, jackmat3 tn koe~~
Travelling from Cromwell to Ashburton today and collecting a few caches and ALs along the way. Saw some amazing scenery and ventured along some great roads. Thanks to the COs for placing the caches for us to find.

NZ_B and I are on a road trip to the Geo Toroa Mega and back. I'm also aiming for a multi every day, so it is now titled the "Mega Multi Road Trip." Today is Day 13 from Lake Tekapo to Christchurch. This is one we found on our journey today. Had to stop at this one as the town is my namesake. Thank you for this cache with a great name It's nice to have a trip where, alongside targeted caches, we also take time to find one's on a whim or ones that take a bit longer. We have all day and the caches are calling...
We started our beautiful journey through the South Island in Christchurch. Here we went on a big sightseeing tour and visited lots of caches. We then travelled via Lake Tapeko, Dansey Pass and Moeraki to Dunedin for the MEGA event. In Dunedin we visited the MEGA events and together with many other cachers we found many caches around Dunedin. A few days later, we travelled on through the Catlins to the southernmost part of Bluff. We then visited Te Anau and the tourist town of Queenstown. In Wanaka we went on another sightseeing tour until we reached the west coast via the Haast Pass. We hiked to Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier. We continued along the west coast up to Westport, stopping at various sights along the way. Richmond and Nelson, the sunniest cities, were also on our list.A few days later we reached the east coast again in the wine region of Picton and Blenheim. After a few days, we travelled back to Christchurch via Kaikoura. We visited many geological sites, completed many adventure cahes and found many caches along the way.We travelled almost 3500 km and had so many great experiences. Many thanks to all the ownersTeam sissifalke

We were driving from Fairlie through to Tekapo today, so Mrs nzk stopped for a few caches on the way while Mr nzk took the motorhome on ahead. We were both able to pull off the road here and Mr quickly spotted the cache. All good here, TFTC jackmat3. The nearby art gallery looked interesting but we needed to keep moving.
A nice easy park and grab on our way to Lake Tekapo. Beautiful day for a drive. Tftc
Day 2 on our holiday in New Zealand. On the way from Christchurch to Twizel, we also visited this traditional cache, searched the box, found it, and signed the logbook.

Whilst the old logs are a little damp, the one I signed was all good. Liked the location, waited for the muggkes to walk off. With rebel98, thanks
We finally managed to get away for a week’s holiday after months of lock downs and cancellations to various trips and flights. After landing in Christchurch we headed to Mount Cook to spend a few days exploring the area, doing a few walks and enjoying the dark sky star gazing, as well as exploring lakes and small towns of the Mackenzie country. We also found lots of geocaches which we enjoyed finding. Thank you to all the CO’s for taking the time to place and maintain these caches.
Dropped a TB that really needed to be on its way, love the small towns around the south island! TFTC!

Quick find on my way to meet up with family in Wanaka. Have passed this spot many times but very little traffic today when I came through. Must have all stopped for a Fairlie pie.
Easy find, family went up skiing and I stayed behind for a geocache adventure. I'll hit the mountains tomorrow.
We are taking our cat Coco on a motorhome holiday while we go on caching adventure.

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of a 3 weekend in and around Fairlie.
With 4 DNFs (and just 6 caches looked for), we were pleased to make a quick find here. Left a TB as the cache was a decent size and seems to be found frequently. TFTC.
