The Pink Pig letterbox was stolen. It's replacement Deer letterbox was stolen. No point having this one here any longer.
We didn't have long for a quick search in the wind and rain. No luck for us this time.
The porcine star of this show seems to have been decorated !!
Not for outstanding service to the community,
but possibly for a birthday party ?? [:o]

Anyhoo !!,
after a bit of rooting around in the roadside dirt,

When I found the camo, I found it empty. I checked the ground and found the cache. When I went to put it back, it didn't fit. So I put it in a logical place, but I know not if it was the intended place.
Out and about with 80 degrees having enjoyed a birthday lunch. Oink Oink to you. Nice easy find. Thanks for all your caches BettyBoo3747
when it comes to road side caches this was a great spot for a hide and to be able to discretely sign the log. i loved the pig
This was one of those finds made by my muggle hubby and geo son, while they were on the way back from skiing. It was good that they stopped to stretch their legs and hubby was happy to make this a quick find. Hopefully they will be back again to grab a few more sometime soon. Visited a travel bug while here.
Away for the weekend with omegaman and Happy pants, cleaning up some in the Drouin area, signing the logs under the team name HHO. Decided to stop and grab this last one, as we start to head towards home. Wandered in and grabbed the info that would point us to GZ. We took one look and said OHHHH, they've had some rain. We had just completed a water hazard cache, so it was great when the one that got wet feet last time, put his hand up to strip off and wade into this one. At least he had rubber boots this time, not that they helped out that much.
With much shrieking and gasping, the path was made towards GZ, without him slipping over. It didn't take too long before we all had our signatures in the log book. Eventually after much laughter and photos, the explorer was able to come ashore and empty his boots. This was another great cache, made more enjoyable with the company. Visited a travel bug while here.

I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for placing the cache for us to find.

Certainly no pink pig anywhere about, but still an easy find after I'd plugged across from the rail trail. No pen or pencil, so I logged it by my 'alternative method'.... TFTC!
Shame about the missing letterbox, but that was a fun hide nonetheless. Thanks for bringing us to this gorgeous area and TFTC
We chose a few to pickup on the way home and I decided on this as love the letterbox series.
Unfortunately this fellow was gone
However a smiley is a smiley, cheers and thanks!

Mr Morris headed up the mountain with Robmc to tackle Underworld and found this one along the way.
Oh dear what a shame he[s disappeared. Hope it is for repairs not because he's been pinched.
It was a fun day - thanks BettyBoo3747

Initially confused but all was understood when the cache was located. This is a special find for us as it was a n00th find.
Here we are back in Bright for 12 months this time, so have some serious caching to do. Exploring Bright and beyond, today we traveled along the Alpine Way for some caches. Oink! Thanks BettyBoo
Took a day trip to Bright yesterday from our camp site in Wodonga. Kids had a ball playing in. The river in town, then headed to the rock pools followed by a Caching driveby trip to Beechworth and a lovely meal at the Beechworth Brewery. Thanks for all the fantastic cache locations. TFTC
Holidaying in Bright and took the time to grab a few caches despite the heat. My geodkid joined me. My thong was coming apart eevry few metres but I was able to make the find here. Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache.
Think I'm going blind..... couldn't find the cute letterbox like the pic but we did find the cache which was a tad cute. TFTC
Find Number 1289, found at 13:10
Cute! We stopped here on the way back to Wodonga from Bright. I've enjoyed the few Letterbox Art caches I have done and this was no exception. An FP frpm us.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Walk around then spotted this little piggy. Love views of the hills and trees TFTC
This one had us beat for a while. Not a pink letterbox in sight!
But we finally stumbled upon the connection. Our grandson particularly appreciated the container.
Enjoying the bit of sun that has been appearing from time to time today.

Pork pie pig may not be here, however there is a random patch of trees on the side of a hill, wonder what they'll look like in spring! Tftc With Indianagleeson
Found by Mary & David at 1003. Fancy a pignapping in this part of the world? Obviously a foodie who wanted to add some tender pork to the walnuts. almonds, every type of berry and fish that we have seen while in the area, as well as the breweries. Our thanks to BettyBoo3747.

I left Wangaratta this morning and headed back to Mount Buffalo to spend the day on the mountain.
Over the last couple of days I had passed this cache a few times but never stopped to look for it, today I went passed it again but turned around and went back to it as I wasn't going by again without having a look.
I wandered over to GZ and this one was very easy to see, the log was signed and I was on my way.
Another one in this series down, probably a lot more to go.
**Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache.**

Like the cache container. The letterbox is now a reindeer, we guess they got into the Christmas spirit.
Heading home from a week in stunning Bright with the hubby and geo kids and we (well me) wanted just a few more caches. This was one of them. A nice easy find. Many thanks

The perfect day to be out and about in Bright, in the wonderful company of Suscoe, with the opportunity to share a few caches like this which we had found previously on 16.1.15.
"OH Deer"!! (check our image).
Our thanks to BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache.

Suscoe was out enjoying a delightful day in the very good company of Phetlern.
It was a delightful day to be caching with glorious sunshine, almost no breeze and a top temperature of around 28 degrees.
We saw green pastures, very healthy cattle, impressive mountains and beaut towns that appear along the Great Alpine Road and surrounds.
The diversity of caches was nice to see and we had a few challenging hides to sort out.
It was, all in all, a really good day for us to enjoy with our friends.
Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for this good little cache. We heard the noise too.
We had no idear about the knew idear constructed nearby.
Pretty impressive work, great idear for a replacement by the householder.

Called by today. Replaced O-ring and left new log sheet. Cache all good to be found.
Didn't find a pink pig letter box (just a deer stag letterbox) but found a pink pig cache ! SL TFTC BettyBoo3747
Day seven of our 14 day holiday and our last day in Bright and surrounds, so decided to do a few last caches as we checked out the sights and enjoyed the wonderful sunny weather. Cute cache, very appropriate. Very disappointed we did not get to see the pink pig letter box, but the cache did make up for it and make us laugh. TFTC.
Found with The Empire at 8:37am as we convoyed towards Myrtleford for Breakfast and to drop a vehicle there for the day. The sun was beginning to come out, it had the makings of a wonderful sunny day ahead. Thanks to BB3747 once again.
Found by The Empire with Sully1
A lovely morning in convoy from Bright to Myrtleford, picking up a few caches before breakfast! Probably the coldest morning I've experienced this year, it was great to be out in the fresh air - the grass was very dewey. Thanks for the cache BettyBoo3747

Just getting a bit of pork on our fork before good Friday! the picture of the letter box looks a bit like Alfred Hitchcock to us! Tftc.
A quick and easy drive by while we were in the area. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
I was trying to work out why this cache was called "pretty in pink". Once I found it, it made sense! I was unaware that the letterbox was once also pretty in pink. TFTC.
TFTC. Another letterbox marked off the list. It is a pity that the original letterbox was kidnapped although the replacement box is very impressive. The cache container is a beauty.
Found during a one-week roadtrip, caching around Mt Buffalo and surrounds.
The original letterbox may be gone, but the cache title still makes sense !
Thanks, BettyBoo3747.

Having spent the morning caching at Mt Hotham, we descended the steep grades of the western side of the mountains to cache in the valley. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of an amusing cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. We wondered what the RSPCA would have to say about the method of attachment of the cache container. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.
Long weekend brings us to Bright... This weekend is going to be really REALLY pour weather (did you see what I did there??), so we had alot of opportunities to get out driving in the 4WD in the hills around..
Today we headed out to Brown Brothers In Milawa, grabbing a few caches along the way.
Hubby and kids waited in the car (he is very patient... SOMETIMES) while I darted across the road to grab this cache.. Was unsure of the reference until I found it..LOL
Thanks BettyBoo for placing this cache :)

Last find for the day on our way to Bright after a day of cycling. Love the letterbox nearby. TFTC
Got a little thrown by some of the description saying if leaves fall it will be exposed as I was looking in the wrong tree. Once I read others posts i quickly found it. Not a tree that looses leaves but not a native either. Tftc very cute!
The cache was a quick find but red leader got covered in sap and we had to head into the nearest town to clean up. Tftc.
Only reading description after the find, do I see the correct art is awol. Did see another box further down the road of an arty nature but it drew a long bow to match the name. However the container, as a homage to the original, was found quickly. Got back to the car and realised my arms and clothes had collected a lot of pine sap. Took longer to clean up than find the cache. Series now complete (LBA 26/26)
Initially drove past this one as there was no pink letterbox to be found, but after parking and walking back 100m or so, something pretty in pink was found at 3:10pm.

I loved this one. Pink is truly beautiful no matter what! Thanks for this one. It was a goodie.
This one made me laugh out loud, definitely not what I was expecting. I love your sense of humour
An overnight trip to the region specifically to go caching.
Have one of these items awaiting development into a cache.

#1664 - Early morning find as we commenced our day's cycling as part of our AroundOz challenge. It was cloudy and windy, although it was a tailwind finally. Piggy was well hidden but when we branched out we found the pink. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.
