Another in this series crossed off with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy. Thanks again for placing. Everyone loves a little frog
Found with Grubbs1337, Snowy27 and ITWimdy. ??A great day out with Dad and his mates. Thanks for the cache ??
Well it is that time again for Posums and GemmaSistema to catch up for another fun filled day of caching, laughs, to much walking and to also lets see on where the Geowagon can get us into where maybe it shouldnt go.We met up in Castlemaine and then I became the driver and Gemma the navigator to what we were going to find today. And today was another tour of Bendigo which is a place I really enjoy coming up to.In total 40 caches were found today in a very wide area of Bendigo and the suburbs and a few different types as well.Time to hit the backroads and with the recent rain we would just see how we would go on getting along there. We are following another couple of teams around as we are seeing families logs. Thanks Casper9 & Miss Mary TFTC.
Nice cache arfter dinner with k9team to continue my streak. Today makes day 66. Tftc
Went for a drive with Ghihash tonight to grab a cache, we met some kangaroos at GZ

After a bit of searching we soon found the cache. Container could do with a replace as clip was broken and contents mouldy. Was still able to sign the log as it was dry but has previously been wet. TFTC
Thanks for the cache and hide. Just letting you know the latch on the cache to hold the lid closed is broken.
Good coordinates led to a quick find but as mentioned previously the lid does not clip in securely, may need attention soon TFTC
Starting to look a little weather beaten so i engineered a tiny bit more cover for him. tftc
Nice find thankyou! Log book wet and dirt throughout container, lid doesn't lock down properly.
late log for this cache found with tytaylor19, found on the 26th of january this year! sorry, just going back and logging caches that ive realised that i forgot to log at the time around this area! tftc
Had us puzzled for a while as we had become accustomed to the method of previous hides. Actually spotted the soaked log book on the ground first, then retrieved container and contents. Lid not locking down, but placed back in what we suspect was hidey hole.
Will require CO attention as we were unable to replace log book.

After escaping town for a few days it’s time to head home to get some boring appointments done - car servicing etc. After packing up camp it was off on a slow journey home.
Found this one relatively quickly on this tour of the back country roads.
Thanks Casper9 & Miss Mary for the cache.

Thanks Casper9 & Miss Mary for the cache.
Nice location, I love that al of this series have been a bit different from each other. Container is still nice and dry even after the downpour two days ago. TFTC
This one almost got us but after miserably failing a multi we needed to find some traditionals to recuperate. Lovely area and cache but the lid is busted and doesn’t seal properly however it is still somehow dry. TFTC
We are having a lovely little tour of the backroads in reasonably pleasant weather. Mind you we are well rugged up.
We enjoyed another quick find here.
Unfortunately one of the clips is broken so it doesn’t fasten anymore.
Contents are dry, but we replaced the logbook bag as it was shredded.
That should keep it going.

Dad ditched us for work so we (becca85, boo09 & I) went for a drive to see ReganSeekers and ended up grabbing some caches. A fun afternoon with pretty quick finds. TFTC
The father of the family had to work this afternoon so the kids (boo09 & neisha07) and I nicked over to Bendigo to catch up with ReganSeekers for the arvo and to grab a handful of caches.

It was road trip time and three days traveling and caching was quickly planned. An early morning start and the first location was Mt Buller. From Mt Buller I headed to Bookham in NSW and stayed there the night before hitting the Endangered Species series of caches, starting early the next morning. Heading South West I stopped at Gundagai to visit a 'dog', continued through Walla Walla and Urana before crashing just out of Berrigan. The third day I continued west to Echuca then south through Bendigo and the final stretch for home.
The weather was good on day one but later that night it started to rain and continued for the next two days. Needless to say I did get quite wet on occasions, and some of the country roads I followed where no place for a 2WD, the Prado would slip and slide but luckily kept moving forward. By then end of the trip there was another 1800 km on the clock, 239 cache finds, 2 DNFs and 5 FTF's just to top it off. Thanks to all the CO's for the caches I found and the places they brought me to.
It was dark, a nice quiet country dirt road and a Litoria Raniformis was quickly found. Thanks for the hide.

Is there a rule that this has to be done in order? Of course there isn't, thank goodness, because I hopped all around the place to attack this series. It was a bit warm out, but not so warm that I felt I would croak.
Anyway, the caches seemed to leap out at me so there was nothing for me to really growl about, which is good.
There were a few people out and about today, but I drove slow (being in a ute and wearing a hat they would have just passed me off as one of the local farmers.....maybe I need to invest in a dog and a bale of hay to fully blend it) and eventually they went to wherever they were going. A quick duck out of the car.....actually, make that I jumped out of the car (no mention of ducks please, liable to get shot being duck opening and all) and the cache was mine.
This one deserve a big RIBBIT, and that's what it got.

Being on holidays what a better way to spent a day than planning a caching day and to head north of Bendigo.
This ended up being a day of 42 finds, way over what I expected and almost 400ks travelled (a lot of back tracking and some getting lost in the bush, But the GPSr did say there was a road there!)
I though I was starting to drive into a small town in the bush. after parking the ute and making sure the area was muggle free I made the quick grab.

Quite a bit of civilisation along this stretch and a quick find which we celebrated with a cup of tea in the shade. The early morning frostiness has been replaced by a lovely day.
Thanks

Suscoe's 14th find of 36 for today as we headed out to the North West and North in the great company of our mate Bushfire.
This was to be a full day of wandering about clearing up many caches together.
We had a great time and enjoyed the terrific country side that we passed through.
Thanks to Casper9 & Miss Mary for this cache and the whole series, great to meet each cache.
The wind was being fairly lazy here and it was cool.

Woke up this morning to a very white, cold bleak outlook but I am sure it will improve later.
In Bendigo for a few days to add some smileys on as many mysteries, multi's and a few traditionals. Plus a few cache needed for my A to Z challenge.
The suscoe cachers and the ageing Bushfire have the full range of caching gear with the exception of the kayaks and the wheels to get us to most locations, carrying all the technical gear you could think of.
Lovely area that I have never been to before.
I note that #9 is not here!

Found on our bike ride with the kids and my dear friends had a lovely time thanks heaps I really enjoyed the time we spent together on our xmas break.
#639 - found this one fairly quickly. Pretty little area, though we were slightly intimidated by the signage around one of the homes down the road!
Another one off this series for us. Still a couple more to go to complete the set, but not today! Thanks for this series, Casper9 & Miss Mary, we used to live where these frogs were around too, so we appreciate the connection.
This was our 2nd cache find in the caching run & we found it at 11:25
So this now makes our total find count 6346.
[blue]
We really enjoyed this series. Thanks for putting some thought into the containers, swaps and hides. It's really nice to find caches that aren't empty 200ml Sistemas or Eclipse tins tossed under a bush.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left:Carabiner.
Thanks Casper9 & Miss Mary for the hunt today.
