Needs a good CITO in this area!!
Maybe I was lucky, but it didn't take me too long to find it.
TFTC!

TFTC! Walked around trees spotting only rubbish and looking dodgy until I found it. Have added an item.
Note: new logbook needed and no trackable can be located

Quick find. Most of our group scared off by a big rat. Very soggy inside the cache. TFTC.
Looked around but didn't find it. I'll probably come back later to try again
Nice quick find yesterday before the Waka Nathan pre season at the Rugby Club. No Wombles today...cheers V.
I did not see the Wombles but after strolling a short while around I spoted the home of the wombles and wombeled myself into the log book ! Tooka travelbug with me and put a fish in for a kid so its not so emty..Hi from Swiss guy too!!
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache after a few minutes search, thanks.
I've been on holiday in Auckland now for a week, and it's certainly been a week of two halves. The first half it wouldn't stop raining, whilst the last 3 days have been stunning!
So today I took advantage of the sunshine to take a walk around Lloyd Elsmore Park and try for a few of the caches around there.
I managed to park near the Croquet Club and walk to GZ from there. On arriving, I initially looked around to figure where I might meet Wellington, Tobermory, Bungo, Orinoco, Tomsk, Madam Cholet, and of course not forgetting Great Uncle Bulgaria! Alas, looking around at the amount of litter to be found around here I suspect they have long disappeared from the burrow.
However, I did manage to find the cache, and sign the log thanks to the waterproof paper. I also decided to drop off a TB which I hope may encourage some Wombles to return in order to make use of a thing left behind.
Thank you for placing this cache, and reminding me of a much loved TV program from my childhood

Found lot of plants and a cache full of water. . Fortunately no zombies here today. TFTC

A wet weekend, gave it our best shot, As the morning progressed the weather got worse, made a few finds and 1 DNF and called it a day. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find
No tb and very dirty in here don't think the Wombles live here as they where tidy creatures on Wimbledon Common UK .
Tftc...finally got it. Didn't sign, it was ichy. but took pic. (Las Vegas Nevada)
Lunch time outing tracking down our daily cache. Took a few minutes to locate but got there in the end. Added a new log. TFTC
Final cache to clear this park. The log was very fragile and has spilt into a number of pieces but manged to sign one. TFTC
Came for a hunt after work. 6pm, traffic on Pak Highway, but this place is nicely hidden. Scratched around for a while, doing a man look, then decided I needed to be more thorough and actually touch stuff, so revisited some more obvious places and there it was. A bit moist but signable. Retreated back through the bushes and park, went home for dinner instead of KFC. TFTC
After hunting around for a while and getting filthy my wife came ln looked where I had looked!! And found it straight away.
Out with SethRaven and Panda0505 today chasing some caches for a Tufty challenge. This took a bit to find, old logs were helpful in the final find which had SethRaven putting her hands on this one. TFTC
Out today with Fencarrows and Panda0505 with the aim of gathering caches for a Tufty challenge. Again GPS took me round in a circle but when settled we read some back logs and then I took a closer look at something and there it was nestled away. TFTC
Headed out this way with Merlot58 and Jag50. This was our last find in the park today after all becoming drowned rats (but not wombles!). It looks like the wombles have been digging around GZ but none were seen today. We did find the cache though.
Got here just ahead of Aiden29 and Merlot58 and started to hunt. MrJag50 soon had the right spot but was a little nervous to put his hand in what was clearly a live burrow judging by the amount of spoil from some frantic digging. So he looked carefully and could not see anything so decided to look around the area a little more carefully. Off to one side there was something that appeared to be covered over and sure enough it was the cache.
As my son had a soccer game in nearby Lloyd Elsmore Park this afternoon, and as we had arrived early for the team warm up, I decided to use the opportunity to try and find a nearby cache or two. That is how I came to be trying to find this one. I had actually tried to find this one once before in the dark of night a year or so ago with no joy. And so I thought that I would try again today in the light. And so yes... I would recommend doing this one during daylight hours as the find happened really easily... in fact I walked straight up to it. The humorous part of this afternoons adventure was that I started a guy as I walked out of the trees. He clearly thought I was a weirdo of some kind and so I thought instead of trying to explain myself that I would just go with it. He probably thought that I was some kind of axe murderer or drunkard. Maybe I am??? Anyway, thank you retrokiwi for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts. Nice.
Luckily for me it was a quick find today it was where the gps said it would be.
The log was damp and my pen wouldn't sign it without ripping it.
But nice hide.
Tftc.

Out for the morning with Merlot58 & Pazzabella, and the geodogs. We hunted around here for ages, singing the Wombles song ( I used to just love the Wombles and in the end that helped us focus on where to look. Turns out Pazza and I were in the right place, but had failed to spot the clever hide. Merlot was more onto it! Nice cache. Get's a favourite from me!
This was our last cache in the park and it took us a little while to find, Bertie figured where we needed to look but it still took a little while to find this cunning hide
We didn't get one dnf today which is a miracle, but if there was going to be one, this could have been it. A very cunning hide, well done. Surprising that 3 trackables have gone missing here? We found it help to look back into our childhood days and remember the Wombles ...just a decade or so ago....
4 geodogs waited sensibly ( or was it tiredly?) and stayed away from the busy road. Tftc

Day 3 of a 50 day streak for my current licence done I went straight to GZ when I saw a likely location but came up empty handed. After spreading the search I came back to my original location and found the cache... how did I miss that on the first go lol! TFTC!
Spending time with the junior dispatchers at the park. What a great place, and even though the ground was SUPER soggy, the cache was totally dry. TNLNSL TFTC!
Found it after deciding which tree but a good hide. Cache was surprisingly dry

Had a second go and found in seconds in a place I looked last time. It deffo wasn't here then. TFTC
Was at my cousins christening today, so thought as I'd gotten there early we should go find a cache esp when it was just across the road
A nice little cache where the hint suggested it would be. As others suggest it gets a bit damp - and with how wet it's been no surprise there, but the ziplock bag is keeping the log dry enough. I was cub a long time ago, far too long ago for geocaching. TFTC.
I had a bit of spare time this rather chilly morning so headed out to collect some local caches. Not such a quick find this time, but got there in the end. TFTC.
We went searching on a rainy day but stayed dry and comfortable in this magical little area. Great hiding spot and location, pretty sure we caught a glimpse of a womble. TFTC
For the amount of time I spend at Lloyd Elsmore it is hard to believe I still had 3 unfound caches. I had looked for all of these sometime last year and logged DNF's but today is the day with 1.5 hours till daughters next netball game.. Found this one quickly having looked for quite some time last time.
New cache container, same location. Some contents will still be slightly damp.
The nature of the location, especially at this time of year, is that it will be wet.

Cool spot, easy find. Needs maintenance though as cache and contents are soggy.
Found it, quick and easy. Outside quite soggy and there was condensation in cache. Log and ziplock in good shape though.
will have to check it out, unfortunately the nature of this hide is to often be waterlogged
I didn't find any Wombles, but I did find a few reasonably nasty-looking spiders. But they didn't mind me looking for the cache so they were cool. TFTC
Searched high and low and checked out loads of Womble treasure but didn't find the cache .
Cache in good order. I never knew that Croquet was played here although the nearest bowling green looks as if it has not been used for a very long time. TFTC
This is the second time we have tried to find this. Not sure how we missed it the first time, but obviously the cache was much easier to find in the daylight! Everything was a bit damp, so took the liberty of replacing the log with a new plastic bag and paper - hope this is OK. TFTC
Tricky cache here but Ric found it .....no wombles today ....
I was in the Girls Brigade myself about 50 years ago in Henderson / Swanson area !
No geocaching badge or anything back then !

A great group met up this noon to get some of the close by mud geocaches secured. Afterwards we decided to cache on to get our numbers up and the area a little bit more clean of trads. TFTC
We were struggling a bit today with GPSr on the phones both dying so we had to find this one by guesswork. We managed to hide reasonably well in the bushes though to have a rummage around an soon made the find
Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Came to find this one as the pool was closed so we couldn't go swimming!
