Since todays paddle got squashed, it was decided that myself and Duppers would meet up at Ewan Maddock dam around 11 am. I decided to head up a bit earlier and grab the other ones that she has already done around the other side of the dam. Im hoping to have enough time to cache and visit my father-in-law in the same trip.As Id previously had a DNF, it was time to turn that frown upside down. Quick find this time.I found your cache, Steve's Way - Crikey today.Wesso Family, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF and on going maintenance.
I have signed a challenge cache that requires me to get a traditional cache on every date of the year. At 2pm today, I realised that today was one of those days. I have wanted to get up to Beerburrum to get the multis, the kids seemed to be occupied with their friends so off I went. I wasn't sure if I would be able to easily get to this cache, but that stress was quickly put aside when I saw the ample parking for.....not sure what all the parks were for. Surely not for the cache or the sign. Actually, I didn't even read the sign. Just looked for the cache!!! LOL. I was on a phone call at the same time so the hunt took me longer than it probably should have. Anyway, mission accomplished. Thank you for bringing me to this sign and carpark and maybe next time I will take more notice of both.
My favourite bit was my friend squealing when she realised there was a spider guarding the lid of the cache she was holding Crikey! Thanks for the cache!
Crikey I found it!!! My gps was bouncing all over the place today but I found it in the end, tftc!
Brissy Cat and I came north for a CITO at Sandstone Point but talking too much, we missed the turnoff and ended up here so made the most of it and had an easy find. All good here. Tftc
Kolour and I were heading for the CITO at Sandstone Point today and we were talking so much in the car that I missed the turn off. We got off the highway here to turn around and then noticed that there was a cache on the way. A nice easy first find for the day. Thanks Wesso Family!
headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few along the way up the coast.Steve's Way - Crikey, GC48GGN, but I could not find it today. May just be a case of cache blindness.Reached out to the CO and looks like it is missing.TFTC, TFTH
And we’re back at the Sunny Coast to finish off this months challenge, its been one hell of a struggle but we’re on the final stretch to get it done. Pheew!
This was cache number one on our outing and one we’ve neglected for sometime.
Once at GZ we had a brief poke around and had the cache in hand soon after.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Found on a trip to the Big Island, ran my hand over it and missed it. We over thought this one made it harder than it was,
Driven past this sign so many times. Easy find. Only 2 spots left on front of the log book plenty of space if people start on the back.
Headed to the Australia zoo and as soon as we exited the highway we this great sign and had to pull over for pictures. I thought to check for caches “this would be a great place for a cache” and sure enough bam I was right! It is a great place for a cache. Tftc
After delaying my holiday thanks to a certain virus, I’m finally heading on my trip. Im glad to finally have grabbed this one as it was on my list back when I first started caching. An easy find but also well disguised! Tftc
Wesso Family I found your cache Steve's Way - Crikey on 2/11/2022, 5:40 pm. This is my find 4424 and find # 11 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
TFTC Took a little longer than should have, were in the right spot on first approach. Coords for us were excellent.
Heading up the Steve Irwin Way for a day of caching around Beerburrum, we could not pass here with out stopping and picking up this cache. We had the area to ourselves and after a short search, the cache was found, signed and returned. TNLNSL TFTC
We couldn't get into the Caboolture Showgrounds as planned so headed out here to spend the night hoping we may get in tomorrow when we could arrive earlier. A bonus when we found this cache 9 metres away from where we pulled up. Quite noisy overnight, but we still managed to sleep OK.
Time to move on to the Caboolture area where we have solved puzzles and there are a number of Adventure Labs and plenty of trads to find.
The weather is improving further although there seems to be plenty more muggles about.
A good variety of hides and some interesting places to visit.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Wesso Family.

Love caching in winter so headed up to do the B/W Trail by foot plus others around the area. We LOVE the whole Irwin family so had to do this one. Cache in good order. Thanks Wesso family for the cache.
Stopped in here on the way up the coast this morning. Had the place to myself. After a quick stretch I headed over to GZ for a look around. A quick find, sign and replace. Log is dry, all good here.
Such a sad day when Steve passed away. A massive loss to Australian conservation. Got to see him at the zoo one day. He was a great entertainer and just seemed to love life.
Thanks Wesso Family for placing a cache here for our enjoyment.

Filling in some time till caffeine o'clock... actually filled in quite a bit of time when we took the wrong road and ended up on the motorway. Then we realised we'd mistaken this cache for the oldie up the road. What a start to the day. But TFTC Wesso Family because we weren't able to find the other due to roadworks and at least got this one.
Lots of wasp nests so be careful running your hands along where you can't see cache rusted but dry inside tftc
Working from the van today and decided to hit the glass house mountains. Quick find before work starts.
Nice quick one for the two of us on the way to an early drop up the road. Cute guardian in the cache as well...
TUFTC. Cute little cache with and even cuter new friend. Nice quick grad on the way up the coast. Glad there were no cross in the area though.
Out and about in the Sunny Coast area collecting caches before attending the GIFF event.
A quick find at gz. Thanks wesso family for the cache.

Today, I joined karicka with a few minor hikes around the Glass House Mountains. This was a late plan change due to wind warnings for southern ranges, with karicka wanting to do *Cookie monster*. That turned out to be a quicker find than what we had anticipated, so we then headed up other mountains, which included Mount Cooee, Mount Ngungun, and Mount Beerburrum. We also walked the Yul-yan-man track, targeting the *Yul Yan Man Track - Glass House Mountains* Adventure Lab, which was an approximate 10 km hike completed in about 3.5 hr (which included the added Mount Beerburrum detour). Once karicka departed, I ascended Mount Tibberoowuccum ("Castle Wing"), and then headed back home via Caboolture.
Running ahead of time prior to meeting karicka, I thought I would make a stop here after driving past this sign/geocache several times before. As I thought would happen, karicka who was running early spotted my Jeep, and so stopped here too. After a few minutes of looking around, I finally made the cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wesso family for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

It's the school holidays and we're out of lockdown, so what better way to celebrate than to take the geomonsters for a nice ice cream at the Maleny Dairies.
We've passed this cache many many times before, so today we stopped off on the way to claim it.
Thanks!!

A nice quick find to start the day... other than waiting out the truck driver, this was a straightforward hide... tftc...
Now, I’m sure I’ve found this before but I must’ve forgotten to log it! So Ruzzelz kindly pulled over for me on our way to Beerburrum today and we found it in the second spot we searched.
