After a barking dog greeted us from the old school next door where people must be living Almawoody went to the most obvious place and found the container! All nice and dry. Another good old find at a hall that I bet could tell a few stories of past parties here. Streak day 181 (almost at 6mths) and a trad dot day signed off. I have put all these old archived caches in a list and am going to make it my mission to check them all out over this summer. I will add notes to the ones we cant find as a future reference to other keen hunters so they can pass them by.
I went one way round while the others went the other way. By the time I caught up it was found! All good here.
A quick find here..we had all the business side done and back in the car in only a few minutes. Time for some lunch in Stratford before we run some errands.
All good cache still there and dry. This appears to be a 'recycled' cache, I realised later I should have taken a photo. #7515

I lived in the school house (that has since been removed) from 1988-1991. My mother taught here and was then the principal at the school. So sad to see the school closed.
Lots of room to park & let the dog out for a run.
Nice quick find - quite visible really. Hope it doesn't get cleared away at any stage.
Left a pet rock - a calf. TFTC

This place reminds me of taking grey squirrel tails in to the village to get the 1shilling bounty when I was a youngster. We did manage to eradicate them from the island which is one of the few places in the UK which still has red squirrels. TFT memories and the cache.
All good, last found yesterday I must be back in civilization! Left pencil. Tftc Blenheim Bear
Another good find today.

The day was cold and cloudy but not raining, so I went hunting for some south Taranaki caches. I'd been here looking for this one before, but was stymied by a couple of muggles cleaning their horses down. It was all clear this time, and soon had the log signed.
Spent a day showing off the Naki to a friend whose visiting, and found a few caches along the way. #6 for the day. Exactly where the clue said it would be. TFTC
A quick stop to find this cache while passing through today... Signed log and replaced... TFTC
Love visiting these little rural halls. So neat to see them still being used and maintained when some (such as this one) are so old.
Quick find. TFTC.

I pulled up to find another car (empty) parked in front of the hall. Another cacher or a muggle? It made me nervous so I didn't want to hang around. After reading the hint I crept around the hall for a quick easy find. I signed the log and was back in my car without seeing anyone. Wheww. If it was another cacher they are most definitely lost - call in the search party. If it was a muggle I'm glad I didn't have to explain myself to them. TFTC
