Unfortunately the boys n I found the log and one or two of the tags people had left. Not having anything with us we are unable to replace the container , sorry
After the recent finds I came back at lunch for another try. GPS was jumping around and the obvious spots were fruitless. Departed and messaged the previous finder who gave me more than enough to try again. Back after work with Karicka to make the find. Tftc.
Watch out for mozzies at sunset! Hard to get a good GPS reading under the trees but a fairly quick find!
Had a good look around, there was a large tree with a suitable place to hide a cache. No luck for us today.
Thanks
Thanks

It is the second day of my annual Christmas visit to Townsville to see the in-laws. Unlike the rest of the crookedclan, I am not yet quite in holiday mode, so being up early I thought I'd go and grab a few caches.
First time here this morning, there was an elderley man swimming in the river, apparently setting a crab pot. Braver than me. So I went and found another nearby cache. When I came back, he was gone. A systematic search along the bank soon revealed the cache. It was reasonably visible, so I covered it with an obvious rock when replacing.
Thanks for the cache, Team Jeddel

We DNF'd 1 caches today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 9:32:00 AM, but we couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Will have to come back. Spent a while looking but was getting eaten alive no luck
The cach was out in the open. Not hidden at all. (It looked like it may have rolled out of its hiding place). It was put back undercover.
As previous person said ignored what phone was telling me and just looked and soon found it tftc tnln
No luck for us today. Had a good look. Will keep an eye on it for a return visit.

With geoP back in town after a flying visit to Brisvegas it was time for the pair of us to make a second attempt on this one. Fortunately the second set of eyes were not needed as geoD spotted the prize almost straight away. Sometimes you have your caching eyes on and sometimes you don't. Last time geoD didn't this time he did.

What a great spot . There's a huge mullet jumping out if the water - I think he's showing off . TFTC
What a day to look for a cache. Beautiful, and to be on the river's edge....even better.
After a little climbing around and initially going in the wrong direction. I soon had the cache in hand and log signed.

Spent some time searching and climbing but no luck. Disappointing considering the recent finds.

Found it. Came back and decided to ignore the direction my phone was sending me, sat back and thought like a cacher. Didn't take long and had the treasure in hand. Lots of sandfly's today. Got red lumps all over me.
We hade to look a bit harder to find this cache. We eventually found it tucked away in a little hidey hole all safe and sound.
Thanks Team Jeddell.
Thanks Team Jeddell.
I couldn't find this one. My very Whiny 5yr old didn't make it easy for us. "I'm hot, my feet hurt, I'm thirsty" so we moved on.
Will try again

Was encountered by Muggles living nearby, so described what Geocaching is to clear the air.

Find number 33 of 39 on our cityside RRPT caching day! 41.6km over 7 hours. Many thanks to ICP for lending us their bikes [^].
Luckily no mozzies today! Also no fisher-muggles, it just keeps getting better . We overestimated the terrain rating from the listing but turns out it was no problems .
Thanks Team Jeddell

Descended to the right level and soon had the cache in hand. Wonder how high the water goes here in flood times.

Found this late this afternoon with LC85. Straight forward and easy find. Nice spot by the ross river. There was some locals fishing near by. Tftc.
Wouldn't rate the terrain that high, enjoyed the view though nice River! Cache was soon in hand and log signed. TNLN and replaced the cache. TFTC and for showing me this place!
North Qld 2013. Day 11, the Third full day in Townsville. Today was the second day of Ross River Power Trail caches. A fair bit hotter today. After setting my bike up, I set out and visited a large range of caches along the river. It was a good range of caches some easy, some hard. I did not do them all but enjoyed everything I managed. With so much rubbish about it was quite tricky to find this one. Thanks.

Oh look something is moving in the water. Oh its just some nice looking fishies - should have brought a fishing line! TFTC TN left small eraser.
Found at 3:05 PM in the company of The Drovers GAFF1. The girls got this one and were not too confident seeing the terrain rating, but they made it and found the slightly exposed container.
Thanks Team Jeddell.
Thanks Team Jeddell.
A fun day out, caching with pprass.
Thought we would tackle a section of the RRPT trail and a few other caches in the area.
Lots of rocks to check, but the cache was soon in hand.

Enjoyed this one tho had to crouch down low when muggles went walking past. Tftc!
Had to rely on geohubby to retrieve this. Swapped the Crazy Bones for a Mighty Bean.

Arrived at the GZ to find a bloke set up for the day fishing. Will come back another day to find this one.
This one sounded tricky from the logs but I made my way through the gap and the wet long grass and then down to GZ where I found the cache in the first place I looked. Signed and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
There was a lot of rubbish lying around at GZ, not a very pleasant sight. Looks like it's a teenager hangout, as most of it was Fast Food packaging.
This took a bit to find. There was a lot of rubbish in this area but cache was eventually found.
After struggling at RR1 wandered down to claim this beast. Very confused as to where RR1 is considering how easy the rest were.

# 799 FTF We were sitting around the house waiting for flood that never appeared.
We had just started to settle into a football afternoon when the first chimes struck the phone. We had a job to do, but soon after that was complete, we checked the phone to see not one notification of our caches being found, but eight notifications on new caches, and not far away.
Having given up finding River Rocks 1, the three teams of the FTF Hunters walked back to this cache to make a quick find. Still have no idea why my phone kept telling me it was an old EathCache earlier on?
With that renewed confidence, we returned to RR2 but never did find it.
