Logs
Out and about with @waalitj discovering a few caches in the area. Performed signing duties and returned the cache to where it was found. Log signed as C&W. Thanks @GeoSqueaks for placing Coffee Express #1 for the GC community to find !!
Found after a short search. I knew if I pulled the logbook out of its host I'd likely not be able to put it back in, so I've taken a photo as proof of my find here. Tftc
Found it again today, 08/07/24. Very well hidden, took us a little while, but it's here
Out and about with Canpmellow Jnr 3, ticking off another adventure lab location and couldnt pass up the opportunity to pick up a cache so close. An easy find TFTC
Taurus Six and I have taken an extra day off work to make it a five day Easter Break. This is day four and another fabulous day staying in and exploring the beautiful Swan Valley Region. We have indulged in sufficient wineries the last couple of days so today we thought we would venture a little bit further a field and head to the hills area for geocaching and exploring . One area on our radar today was the cluster of five challenge caches near Gidgegannup , then we came south and completed a full circuit including Parkerville, Stoneville, Mount Helens , Sawyers Valley, Mundaring and Darlington then back through Midland as we headed back to our accommodation near Upper Swan . It was a beautiful warm autumnal day , the surrounding bush was fabulous and all and all it was a great day of geocaching .This is twentieth cache find of the day along with several nearby Adventure Lab elements . We really enjoyed this park area and had a hood luck around . A great way to convert an old railway station . Cache was quickly found, logged and replaced. Thanks for the cache .
Last time I came here it was the Darlington arts festival and there was a steward stationed under the shelter. Glad to say it was much quieter today so happy for a quick find. Tftc
Couldn’t find it and we literally looked everywhere, however there was a Lot of leaf litter and dirt so it could have been stolen :/
Think we found the. Spot, but there was a homeless person sitting under the shelter so we didn’t look
After stopping for lunch near the Train Masters house at Mundaring, this rail trail caught our interest so we wound our way back down the hills following its path, noting this station along the way, so we paused by here briefly to take a look. No trains coming or going and no muggles either... Made for a quick and simple find here today. Thanks for the hide GeoSqueaks
Unfortunately we could not look for this one as there were people sheltering out of the rain and it didn't look like they were going to move on and we didn't want to risk compromising the cache, perhaps next time maybe
When I saw the host I thought that’s where I’d put it. Was just a case of checking them all TFTC great hide and location
Our doing some new cache placement and decided to detour to my favourite place in Perth, Darlington. Gorgeous morning. Cheers GeoSqueaks!
Down to pick up a bday pressie nearby. Grabbing some caches while here - got a lil wet on the last one so this was a bit dryer. Tricky lil sucker - found signed and replaced. Thanks for adding a smiley to my day
Quick simple find with JKDA and crew. All in good condition, this is a good place to hide from the rain.
Last one for today, a systematic search of GZ had the cache in hand after a couple of minutes.
__________
Chatted to SirFancy over the weekend and seeing all the kids were occupied today decided to head up into the hills to clean up some Adventure Labs and grab a few other caches along the way.
Although a little soggy to begin with it turned into a rather pleasant and successful day finishing up adding 37 finds to the total and grabbing a cache unloved for nearly two years.
__________
Thanks GeoSqueaks for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2847 for me.

Well it’s all in a name hey, picked up a coffee from across the road and logged this little one and a lab too! Trifecta done and dusted! Thank you
Doing the lab nearby and just had to have a go at this one. Thought I might be in trouble as there was a muggle couple having a picnic at the table about 15 meters from GZ. But managed to come up with the goods in the 1st spot I checked. Signed the first line of the brand new log and was on my way.
GeoSqueaks I found your cache at 1:31pm, this was the 14th of 14 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 6184. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Out for a quick bite and coffee. When we looked carefully a quick find. Found with Redruthguy.log full. Tftc
A late logging for this one. Sometimes they slip through when we are not keeping good notes. We found this one quickly.
Nice quick park and grab here in the pouring rain. Great camo, really blends in well. TFTC GeoSqueaks!
Been here before, have no idea why I didn't find it last time!! Today I had it in 5 seconds flat.

Interesting area to walk, popular for horse riding. Out with B12 & C10 on a sunny winter's day, collecting 51 smiles and 4 frowns.
Thank you GeoSqueaks

Out for a day of caching around Darlington, Mundaring and the surrounding areas to cleanup the huge number of caches around these parts that have evaded us for a while.
A lot of bush caching today with some nice finds through John Forrest National Park, which I’ve always wanted to explore, but never got around to. The highlight of the walk apart from some great caches, informative signs along the trail, beautiful bridges, nice trails and great scenery was a walk through the Swan View Tunnel, which was absolutely awesome.
The other major walk of the day was around the Boya Quarry which is simply amazing for people that have never visited (I know many attended dark energy’s event out this way when his earth caches were still active in the quarry) beautiful views in particular from the top of the quarry and looking up the beautiful cliffs throughout the area.
We collected a bunch of other caches around the dam in JFNP, central Mundaring, and the Boya areas.
An amazing day out that finishes finding two old archived caches that have seen better days but would have been amazing to have seen in their heyday.
Thanks to all of the local COs for a great days caching, we had lots of fun. Thanks

Quick find. This old train station is interesting. Planning on following the old line for a trail or caches. TFTC
Came to get coffee, and even though I checked online to make sure cafe was open, they weren't!!! Stumbled over to GZ, cache was in first place I put my hand! Cannot believe I missed it last time. Though I do recall a large spider descending from that spot so maybe I just purposely forgot to look there. TFTC.
Out for an afternoon caching with the family, the sun was out and this is a beautiful area. We must have been looking for a good 20 mins and its a good job I had Mr Frills with me as I was way too short to find this one even with the use of the nearby log! Take someone tall!
