Sorry once again no pen as I'm on an unexpected journey with a friend who is graciously stopping for caches
Today is my last chance to get out to do some caching before we head off on an extended trip O/S. I was also looking for some caches that would boost my Terrain rating, so hopefully this will help. This cache had lots of ants trying to make a nest inside it. There are now a lot of very annoyed ants in the location, but not inside the container! Other than the ants, cache was in good condition, though the lid was showing a few small cracks. TFTC
As we were here singing the . Farmer Brown stopped to see what we were up to.. a fairly quick find here.
Decided to spend the day caching and I had been eying off the Farm Run Series for sometime. A nice leisurely drive around the country side ensued. TFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl , Leap Frog Race - Motorbike and Scarface visited.Find # 1791.
We had a lovely drive around the country roads today finding the caches in this series, this is one we found and the information was collected for the bonus. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the series MalDawg.
Spending some time in Warwick and visiting local areas combined with a lovely walk up Mt Mitchell.
Enjoyed venturing around further up the countryside, and it looks like a town progressing well with lots of new housing.
Thanks MalDawg for placing this nice little section of caches. All were neat hides.

We stayed a long weekend in Toowoomba for 2 events, for caching, for hiking down the hell hole track and for qualifying for the Garden City Challenge.
So this series was in our mind to do. It was a quiet drive through farmland and we found all 20 of them. Sorry for the generic log.
Thanks for placing these caches, Maldawg

Well today was going to be a big day. I had planned to meet up with Willis007 and we were going to do some paddle caches before a CITO event. Then quickly after the Cito get away so as we had time to collect a few other target caches in the area and a few as we passed by. I still needed an adventure lab in there somewhere and a multi or a letterbox.
We are now working our way towards a particular cache and towards Toowoomba for an event. The farm run series was just for me today as my buddy had already found these a while ago. They are nice easy finds thank you. I signed the log and replaced as found and then continued on to the next one, thanks for the hide.

Nearly needed a brush cutter/ line trimmer here as the geotrail was quite hard to find. Would have been better to take the parallel side track here and save a bit of walking. Wrote the answer for B= in the notebook, "G M" in the log and replaced. TFTC, MalDawg. The sheets in the logbook are fragile from damp and easily became separated from their binding ring.
Let's continue on a bit further
And try to find another
Without much ado
I found this one too
It really wasn't much bother
Slowly working our way back to Cairns after attending Qogm 2022. Did your Farm Run No. 3 today. 24 October 2022 3:32 pm Tyfc PJATPAC maintained by MalDawg total caches now 5975 .
Good quick find with the hint.
Unfortunately this cache has had some muddy water go over it and a bit through it so could do with a wipe off and a fresh log which I didn't have with me.

A morning/lunch time visit to the rail museum at Draytion, gave us a good excuse to head home via Cambooya and Felton, and find more hides. Today was a "must cache"day for us, to start completing our grid three times over. Our plan for today was 2 caches, we ended us with 6. Got to be happy with that.
Decided after our first two finds, to make a start on the Farm Run series.
Found with clue by Mr D, who was brave enough to wade through waist high grass to GZ
Thanks PJATPAC and MalDawg

Day 1 of our southern trip. Heading to Mooree, caching a bit as we go.
Battled through the tall grass then from GZ saw the other road just a meter or so away. Oh well!
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:23 AM on January 10, 2022. TFTC, PJATPAC maintained by MalDawg

Did not have an opportunity to replace the missing caches before Christmas Holidays.
Will be replacing the missing Farm Run Caches in January 2022 so that the series is complete and it is possible to find the final.

Headed out today to do the Farm Run and just as we got to the starting point the rain kicked in big time. But we pressed on and battled the rain, mud (oh so much), mossies and spiders to get as many as we could of the run.

Day 3 of the wild western trip, the caching adventures continued to Pittsworth then towards Toowoomba.
The log was signed with our weekend caching name of Team Grav.
Thanks MalDawg for putting the series together.

A quick find while out early converting some green boxes to smiley faces. Today I decided to find as many of the Farm Run series of geocaches. TFTC.
Staying at Pittsworth for a few days to do some geocaching. This morning we headed out on The Farm Run. Most of the caches were found quite easily although we did have a couple of DNFs. Hopefully we got enough info to solve the puzzle cache.

Out collecting caches with this being one of them. Great series. Our thanks to MalDawg for placing this cache series and enhancing our enjoyment of the area..
Nice easy stop and grab thanks to the side street. This one had suffered some water, so added a new logbook in clipseal bag. TFTC!
Nice back country road to be travelling on today, the clouds are looking threatening. I wonder how many of these I'll get done this afternoon. tftc

Thursday. Another quick find on a Farm Run cache. I opened the container to find it half full of water. I poured the water out and dried it with a piece of paper, but the log (or what was left of it), was not going to be able to be written on. Grabbed a spare piece of paper from our glove box and signed that and popped it in the container. We replaced the container so that it wasn’t on its side (hopefully this might help to keep water out).
This was the 3rd of 3 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***MalDawg*** for showing us this place

Nice cache that we were able to park properly off the side. After some walking around found this sneaky guy!
Out for the day on a trip to Pittsworth and beyond collecting Smileys as we went, quick find here

1MinnieMoo and I were grabbing some caches in the area and decided to grab this one next.
Thankfully, I noticed the slip road as we approached GZ. The cache was found and in good condition.

A day out with Fangsoki in Toowoomba to grab the Adventure Labs, a wingaap cache, some challenges and caches with a particular attribute that I needed more of for a challenge.
As time was a little lacking, we decided to only grab those specific caches in this series with the needed attribute today, and will save the rest of the series for another day.
A quick find at GZ, clue noted.
Thanks for the cache PJATPAC maintained by MalDawg.

A bit cooler today and decided to do the Farm Run circuit. Logged 19 of the caches as one was missing, and skipped a clue (somewhere) so the puzzle is on hold. Didn't log these caches in a logical order but enjoyed the country drive
Attached a photo taken near one of caches of a handmade sign I really liked. Yes it is fine!!!
Wishing everyone love, light and laughter over the summer hols!

Had the day off from work so the plan was to complete the farm run series! Took the Geopup out for a drive and knocked them off one by one. Enjoyed the drive around, thanks for all the caches MalDawg!
When I first started caching, I found most of the original Farm Run series. I still have three smileys from that time. As I really enjoyed the drive way back when, I decided that I would find the new caches too. Ooooh! There are clues for a final too! Bonus!! This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
We are in Toowoomba early for Brother Colin’s event on this weekend. We decided that this series of caches would bring us out for a great drive in the country on this truly magnificent day. We really enjoyed the drive and thank you MalDawg for placing these caches. We remembered to pick up the needed information at each cache when we signed the log. Thank you for a great time finding these.
Cheers and happy caching!

Staying in Pittsworth for a showjumping comp and had looked at this trail before leaving home. No comp today so after we set up we decided to do this first road of it. Nice quick finds all the way. We finished the first bit of road and decided to do the rest as they are such lovely easy finds. TFTC - sorry for generic logs.
Nice drive in the country while we are attending a showjumping event at the showgrounds. TFTC
Passing through on the way to the Mega. Pulled into the side road and signed log. Interesting turning around with our caravan to get back out. TFTC
We will have to make generic posts at this stage. It turns out that due to my carer role and having a GeoBaby does not suit a series of Caches.
Despite my mother insisting she was okay (and I mean every single day, over the next couple of days) we went out and about to collect the caches) because she wanted to help me solve a series!
I have never taken so long to collect a series.

Woke up this morning to Mrs VC asking if I was up for a trip west to 'potentially' visit friends & maybe grab a cache or 30.
WHY NOT! LOL …
Grabbed Winter the Geo-Cat & we all piled into the Geo-Beast.
The friends were out so a-caching we will go!
Well I didn't see any corrugated iron at the last cache but I DID find the corrugations driving here! LOL …
Plenty of dust, consistent with outback Oz, & dodging the prickly pear spines in my Caching Thongs certainly made this one interesting.
A quick find nevertheless.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

So my amazing geowife Kaleidoscope had the day to ourselves and needed a bit of time out of the house... so what shall we do? I'm new to the area but Cass is a born and bred Clifton/Toowoomba local so knows her way around... let's go do some caching and exploring!
We loaded up Boris the Geo-Patrol and headed out the door... luckily this cache came up on the radar... ofcourse, cache was found, log signed and returned as found... brilliant series.. thanks for placing them MalDawg... Hope you liked Cass' jokes!

Hi there MalDawg.
We found your cache **"Farm Run No. 3"** today. (This makes our find count 19482).
Today we cached the "Farm Run" series. The secondary aim of the day was to cache along a road we haven't traveled since we became full time grey nomads. Once we've done that we can draw another line on our wall map).
We found 20 caches today (DNF'd 0) .We thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found I just realised that there are codes to take notice of within the cache. Will start jotting them down!
Thanks for the cache!! Be careful with this one, a family of centipedes seem to have made a home under the cache. Otherwise all in good working order
Thought we were in for something way more strenuous than it turned out. Relieved when the compass spun around to another direction. TFTC MalDawg
Felt like looking for a few caches, so put my geodog Scruffy in the car and headed to the Clifton/Pitsworth area for the day.

I was kidnapped by Caro from Jess & Caro today for a catchup and adventure. I'm sorry for the really late logs, just getting up to date now. Thanks for this cache and series.
I was excited to see a number of new caches pop up in my notifications last night, and knowing I did not have work today, I told Rani from Ranibaskale that I would be kidnapping her for the morning to catch up and find some caches, and possibly even get FTF on a few.
We found Farm Run 1 and 2 and were 2nd to find on those, and made our way onwards from there, finding this one next. A nice easy find, thanks for the cache, MalDawg.
