Logs
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine, Edith Falls, Kunnurra, Bungles Bungle, Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now again on the sealed road again. From Derby, Broome, Port Hedland direction Karratha .Not for small people, which fortunately I am not one of .TFTC# 17'185
Found it. We replaced the paper, hopefully will be easier to get out now. The old log paper was full.Cheers and TFTC
Log is notoriously stuck inside please next cached right our name inside if possible..
That was a great little hide. Get your brain thinking after a long drive. Love Roebourne.
* Found today as we headed towards Point Samson for a few nights. Log was full fos signed on top of another. For those who follow be aware that the terrain is wrong - at least a 2. Left a log removal helper. TFTC
Heading to Karratha for a job tomorrow morning. Stopped here and managed to find this one without too much trouble & devised a way to reach it. TFTC
Great type of cache. One of our favourites. Extraction difficult. Hubbie swears he will make one like this one day. Log getting fullish. TFTC
Karratha Day3
Arrived into town & have set up at one of the many caravan parks.
Today we headed out to Roebourne, Cossack Wickham & Port Sampson Region, wonderful views of the sea & port areas
This is an amazing area to explore, we found a variety of cahes.
Thankyou to the CO's for hiding this cache

Thanks again, Matthew Supertramp, for your cache. It was a quick spot, but not a quick retrieve. We really think that the terrain rating of the cache should be upped to a T2, this is not a T1.5 cache.
Stayed over night in pt Samson, enjoyed the peaceful tranquillity. Have been travelling north collecting a few caches on the way. Really enjoying the history of the area.
I love this one. Needed tweezers TFTC step up step down step up step down…..
Travelling from Port Headland to Karratha caching along the way. A quick find, tftc!
On my way to Perth via Broome with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Nice stop and quick find. Used a clip I found on the ground to get log out.

I wasn't carrying a ladder to even begin to search for this NOT 1.5T cache. Terrain needs to be accurate, so those not capable of pulling themselves up posts don't bother stopping. Appears 4T to me.
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time while travelling. We are on the road travelling up through central Australia and down the coast of W.A. I hope to grab a few caches along the way.Had the bring hubby back as I couldnt reach it. Must agree it isnt a 1.5 terrain. Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can enjoy finding it.
Fun to find, almost gave up but had one last look abd spotted it. Took a bit of effort to grab. Needed tweezers to get the log out
Had an RDO today, so grabbed a hire car for a days excursion down to Roebourne and Cossack.
A quick find here after reading a few logs and perusing the structure. A bit of a step-up to retrieve, and I was on my way again.

Day 23 of the long road trip from Perth to the Townsville Mega via the southern states and then back to Perth again via the northern part of Australia.
Today was basically from South Hedland along the main highway and up to Exmouth.
This cache found without problems. The log was signed and the cache returned as it was found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for cachers to find.

Frustrating but worth it, I need to read logs better before I attempt quick park and grabs - my fault for not residing
Don't know about the T1.5 , bo problems for us but others might struggle. TFTC!
On an Adventure North. We have hitched the caravan are are intending to find some sunshine and warm weather.
Travelling along Hwy 94 and Hwy 1, our destination is Broome, via Karijini NP, then the trip home is along the coast sampling the towns we have yet to visit.
Of course along the way we will be getting a cache of two ......... and lots more.

Thanks Matthew Supertramp for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 15:30:00. This was my Find 27 for today out of a Total number of 50 Finds and 4 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 5381.
Wandered around the obvious structure and couldn't see it, so started looking under a bunch of rocks in a nearby tyre. It was only after moving half a quarry that I checked the hint. Thankfully the geo-husband was tall enough to reach, because I wouldn't have been able to on my own! While hubby went back to the car to get a pair of pliers to help remove the log, I noticed a second cache lying on the ground nearby. Same as the hidden one, but the log hadn't been signed since 2019. Signed both, and placed both back....one where we found the original, the other on the opposite end.
On our way home from Marble Bar with axell33 after an unexpected extended stay due to flooding, we took the coast all the way. Stopping to cache and stretch along the way, which made this one an ideal stop! Thanks for the cache, love this camo and greetings from Baldivis.
Finally free of Marble Bar after being flooded in for over a week, we stopped to grab this one as we cache our way home. We parked nearby and Leega spotted the cache as we arrived at gz. We quickly added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where it belongs. Now on to the next one. TFTC Matthew Supertramp.
It took us a little longer to find than was probably necessary but we got there in the end. Thankfully my husband is 6'4 so no climbing was required. It was a nice 42degrees here today while we searched. Thanks for giving us a reason to stop.
I climbed and I conquered!!!! The cache had no log inside, so rolled up a bit of paper.

We spotted the camo when we arrived at gz however the terrain rating should be a 2 as there is no way it can be reached without climbing. Thanks Matthew Supertramp
Me and gf searched for ages, never found it. Climbed right to the very top of the sign which was abit of fun tho.
I am currently visiting Wickham/Roebourne on a geocaching trip
Today is my last day in Wickham/Roebourne
I have had a busy morning doing some housekeeping getting ready for my flight home tomorrow morning
First was a load of washing and while I was waiting for that I ducked out to grab a few caches around town I had not got to yet
The third one on the list was a bit more of a drive
There is a new shelter and information boards here
The cache was an easy find in the second spot I looked thanks to the hint
Getting to the container was a challenge but I was able to retrieve and replace it without any dramas
Some of the passing traffic may have been curious as to what I was up to, Ha Ha
I picked up some trash while here and placed in the bin a short distance away, sigh !
The large bill board in the cache page background has also changed

Wow, that was one of the best geocaches that we’ve found, great idea. If hadn’t read hint wouldn’t of found it .
Day 41 of The Northern Adventure, and now it is just megawat60 and me. I pointed, he retreived. And as noted by previous cachers, the wind makes an interesting noise. TFTC!
Out with m4yb after completing the GRR, we are now slowly heading home getting a cache or 3 on the way. She spotted it and o grabbed it so a nice joint effort.
Thanks for the hide & smiley
Thanks for the hide & smiley
Had fun replacing this one, much to the amusement of my two muggle friends. TFTC
In Port Hedland for work for the weekend, I am taking the opportunity to grab a few caches in town and out towards Karratha to cross of another 2 LGAs.
A nice way to hide this type of container. Loved the sound of the wind.

Found in the company of Cannongobang on a road trip from hedland to perth...he was very excited as was his first cache ..thanks to the C O for the cache..
Found on a day trip from Karratha. Beware of the angry black ants running arojnd this area. They bite, and are hard to brush off your socks
After camping at De Gray River free camp last night we were heading to Dampier caching along the aim and thought that we would drop into Port Headland to see how it has changed since our last visit.
The gold booms in different areas of Australia certainly helped to make this land and open up the country but once the gold runs out some towns fade out to nothing, others continue to grow with different industries and some like this one shrink down and still remain as a remembrance of their former glory days. For us this cache was like chasing gold, always elusive but great when you find it. We almost gave up on this one when Diane spotted something so we wandered back to the car to get a bit of equipment to make it easier and not long after that we were adding our name to the log.
Thanks Matthew Supertramp for the cache and for the history of this town.

I had to take a run down to Karratha from Port Hedland today and picked up some of the easier caches on my way, I thought I'd leave the harder ones for another day. I found this one after a bit of a search at 10:40 this morning. Coordinates were fairly close and the hint helped. I tried to put some paper into the cache, but it really needs a nano-roll, because that's all that would fit, so I had to be content with a "photo-log" I tucked the cache back where I found it. TNLN took photo TFTC Matthew Supertramp.
Found GZ and was happily standing there looking for an indication of the actual container, when the multitude of large ants running on the shoes and up the legs said that it was not a good idea to accidentally stand on an ants nest. Then a very lively cacher's unhappy dance followed. That was sorted and the cache was retrieved by geo hubby. Thanks got to Matthew Supertramp for this cache placement.
Day six of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!
Today we travelled from Karratha to Port Hedland via Cossack, Roebourne, Whim Creek, south hedland and various other detours along the way.
We started the day retracing our steps from the night before going out to Roebourne before turning off to Cossack to complete the three awesome multis out that way and a few other caches before turning back to Roebourne to continue towards Hedland.
We continued along the highway collecting all bar one of the smileys along the way, which was a DNF and one was unable to be reached in our 4wd. We pulled into whim creek, just to check out the pub, ended up having a beer whilst there, and a quick game of pool, we even had a national celebrity turn up in the form of Pauline Hanson and her entourage who had stopped in to get a drink and pose for photos with locals, which was most surprising.
We continued into Port Hedland and really hit our straps here collecting urban cache after urban cache making up bucket loads of time that we lost with one cacher enjoying a snooze in this morning!
Huge day again with 25 plus caches reeled in and another LGA picked up along with some older caches too! Thanks to the local COs we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly today!
