There were a couple of magpies bothering a big bird in the tree above me while i was signing the log. No idea what type it was.
Time for some lunch and a cold drink.
Thanks.

This was a nice simple cache that we appreciated as we have done a few extreme, for us, caches lately - and one more very near to here
Thanks Hoojar.

We have travelled down from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Wollongong area for the April school holidays, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park. Today we were off to do the Helensburgh puzzle cache series, which the family's chief puzzle solver had been busy solving over recent months, refusing any offers of help or assistance to come up with all 36 solutions. This was our 40th find of the day, and 81st find of the holiday.
After completing the Helensburgh puzzle cache series we were now on our way back to camp, but stopped off for this Traditional cache on the way, which was a quick find right where the hint said it would be. Signed the log, picked up the TB, then replaced as found. TFTC Hoojar, Chip & Ding.

#4538- thomo31 and I were on mission today- but we were making such brilliant time on the trail, that we stopped to smell the roses ( well, to look at the view from the lookout anyway) It was amazing today, as clear as the eye could see. Then a brief break for this nearby traditional. There were lots of spots where it could have been near GZ. After checking a number of spots we saw it. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman. While doing a puzzle series nearby we spotted this cache on the map and did a side trip. Stopped at the nearby lookout to admire the view before heading here. With plenty of places to choose we took longer than expected to find it. Then signed log and returned as found. Thanks

I've done quite a bit of puzzling before I've planned my trip to Helensburgh.
I did spend a week hours trying to solve the caches.
I've started my day trip to Helensburgh with the mission to find all the caches
What a beautiful day it was. Sunshine on this warm autumn day
Thank you for the nice series

WT is in Australia as he has been flying in forbes. He found this and realised he forgot to get a pen. Going back to get one as I told him off for not carrying one.

We parked nearby, ready to walk the Wodi Wodi track in search of three other caches. TFTC
Pacgirl and I flew up to Sydney to visit Snoopy for a few days. The trip included sightseeing, socializing, and just a 'little' caching . Sometimes my geopartners got a little impatient - they're obviously more muggles than they are cachers . Today I set out on my own with time to tackle some of the more challenging caches around the RNP and Stanwell.
Inbetween some bigger hikes I was glad to pick up an occasional park-and-grab. This was one of my quicker finds. Quite an enjoyable day out here around Stanwell Tops.
Thanks, Hoojar.

After our first finding at Orford outlook, the map show there is another one nearby, so we went to look for it and found it. A nice detour from the main road.
Whist doing the Helensburgh Puzzle Caches marj01 and I grabbed a few caches that were in the vicinity of the puzzle caches, this was one of them. TFTC Hoojar.
Found on my way to Year 8 camp at the nearby facility. I was driving behind the buses and noticed we were getting really close and that there was a cache placed here. Pulled the car over and made a quick find. I was wondering how I was going to sneak off from camp to keep my streak going. SL #3291 on streak day #1896 TFTC
Off we go for another geomission! fitzy_1965, AngelG27 and I were off in the geomover to descend on the Illawarra region to knock off the Helensburgh puzzle series and whatever others we could nab along the way. Sunny spring weather and lots of laughs made for a fun weekend of caching!
Quick find and sign for us here.

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a long planned geomission to Helensburgh and Wollongong to grab a stack of solved puzzles and as-yet-uncollected traditionals. We headed up the highway from the ACT to Appin, then down the hill to Helensburgh and then made our way south. We have around 160 caches on the list, but if we grab 100 over the two days, that would be fine, especially since I have a terrible head cold! Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found quickly and in good order. Thanks to my geo partners in crime for a fun weekend
Thanks Hoojar for the cache!

We headed out on a geocaching weekend with Rapidlywild to collect the new puzzle trail in Helensburg and others along the way. The weather was not kind, in fact it was downright revolting at times, but we persevered through the rain, flooded roads and detours to collect the smileys. Once we tackled the trail we headed up the highway to the Sutherland shire to check into our accommodation and grab a meal.
Apologies for the generic log, thanks to the cache owners for the placements, collecting them on this wet day only added to the adventure, we had fun in the puddles and with the leaches.

With the long weekend upon us, plans were in place with FurfacesLL to head towards Helensburgh to do the newly released puzzle series and what ever comes up. Weather in Helensburgh was far from pleasent....... we got pretty wet, came across some flooded roads, and some yucky leaches. We cached in Helensbough, Cronulla, Harbour Bridge, Bowral and even Goulburn lol we went everywhere [:p]
Short detour and another quick find, log signed and cache replaced.
Thanks heaps to FurfacesLL for another awesome weekend away, thanks Hoojar for the cache placement [^]

Companion: Geokids 12 and 5
Muggles: None
Weather: Hot afternoon
Cache condition: Good
My elder son attended a music camp at the nearby convention centre, and my younger son joined me on the journey to pick him up, which included a trip down to Stanwell Park to view the hang-gliders. After the concert I persuaded the boys to quickly stop and look for this cache. It took a little while to find the right object that matched the hint, but eventually I spotted some likely camo - CIH! TNLNSL, then we continued on to look at the view from the lookout point. TFTC

Having just found the new cache nearby, when back at the car I saw this was only 30m away. Checked a few places matching the clue, before I spied something that looked suspicious. Sure enough, it was CIH.

On our way home after our church's annual workers' conference, this year held nearby at The Tops Conference Centre. God has blessed us with such a cool place to be. Thanks for the cache, a quick grab before the drive home.

After completing our loop out to Train Spotting and beyond we realised as we headed back to the car that the there was a another cache with 100m of the car. A look at one spot before shifting to another and a quick find was made. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Final cache on the Illawara Coast Drive. Decided that this one is kid a short detour on the way back to Sydney, so a hunt was mounted. Took a while to find the correct fallen one, but got it in the end. TFTC!
