Day 2 of (almost) 4 in the Boise area and today it was down south to grab a few around here, and of course hit a PT or 2. Plenty of other caches in there as well....and it was neat day. Being from Australia, it was strange not to see the rise until just after 8.00am, but cool all the same.

As for the Challenge side of the cache...yes I meet the requirements to log this one, as my profile reflects.

Thanks to all cache owners for the work to have them out there. Thanks also for showing me some great views along the way.

Cheers....and greetings from Australia.

Day two of my trip to Mt. Home to get a few caches, Nice sunny day again with little wind. Had to replace a few logs and a couple of containers qnd found a few extra containers but all in all a great day, thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining all these caches........

We had another great day caching the Idaho trails. We moved basecamp this morning from Glenns Ferry to Grand View to begin the Owyhee Uplands Byway. We had a lot of caches to look for on the way and only had one DNF and we told ourselves it had to be missing Sad

Also, it was a rattlesnake free day, so that was greatly appreciated Big Grin We signed a lot of the logs as 2 Gypsies, and our heartfelt thanks to all the local cachers who put out these caches. The state should fund the geocaching organization for bringing in paying customers, heaven knows we have left enough cash all over the United States during our travels but what a great way to spend your time and money. This is our third trip to Idaho, the first being just before we started caching and the next 2 times to cache.

Liked this series as well as the location for the hides. Great day out here today, and we enjoyed the outing. Once again, we were treated to a wide variety of containers, all of which seemed in good shape. Thanks for this series, and the placements. SL with the initials "VGG".

Out caching with Sweet-Marie. Signed log as Canadian Caching crew. We found caches blowing away and retrieved them and put them back. In some cases found two caches at a cache. Thank you for the cache!.

A great day of caching in the Idaho desert with PhilatSea. It was quite windy at timed and hard to see for all the dust. It was our goal to pick up all of the challenged caches in the area as well as the traditionals. For the most part we were successful but one road was just too rough to travel on. We will save these for another time. Thanks for placing all of these caches.

We only grabbbed a few of these because the road was very dusty today, so we will be back for some more on our return trip. Thanks

Day 3 in Idaho for a man & his dog I started in BC then to Alberta. Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada & now Idaho.

Now Luvin Life you sure took this Dog down one heck of a road but it was fun. Couldn't help but wonder what the heck am I doing this far from home with a truck & camper trying to navigate this road good thing it was dry. Pretty sure it was one of your caches that the Black Spider with the Orange stripe on it's back was on my leg scared me pretty good.

THANKS for all these caches & the work involved in doing them Big GrinBig Grin

Out and about today to find all the challenge caches in the Mountain Home area and anything else that gets in the way...including a rather large rattler at one point...eeeeeekk!!! But certainly needed to find as many Keyboard Caches as possible. Looks like this road was pretty bad in wet weather so glad we are here on a day when the rain is done and the road has dried out. Plenty of flies, flourishing sticker bushes and sunshine. Grabbing those caches and moving on quickly. TFTFun

Out again today with Billybe enjoying the dam & lovely park view and the farmlands. Caching along the way and the way back to town. The hubby checked out all the challenge caches ahead of time and we only stopped to get the ones we qualified for - so, if it is logged it is a qualified one as we cache together all the time! Road got to sandy on #9 of the Keyboard run to continue from this direction. Thanks to all who placed caches along the way, adding to our fun!

Well, it's on. I talked dkestrel into doing this track because of all the unknown type caches that were on it (her weakness, as in she can't resist them). We hydrated up and off we went. For most of the route I was hanging off the side of the car and sent out to find the cache with dkestrel giving me the direction as we stopped. Most of the finds were luckily strait forward and easy to spot. For the ones farther from the road I took the GPSr along. For some, dkestrel actually had to aid me in the hunt. As we neared the fenced off area, we thought we were heading toward a prison. As we got close, we realized it was an Air Force base. I wonder what the people on watch think when they see us geocachers scrambling around in the desert around their base. Thanks for putting together this mighty trail. We grabbed what we could and the logs were signed "DD". My profile will show my qualification for this challenge.

In the latest in a string of insane caching extravaganzas, Doc and I headed out for the second International Earthcaching Event in St George, Utah on a long weekend.Since we were "in the area" we also wanted to pick up Potter's Pond to complete our Jasmer Challenge. Well, check and check. We saw a lot of amazing country and grabbed a bunch of virtuals and earth caches in which this area is, for some reason, rich. We also met some awesome folks and had a lot of fun. Needless to say we picked up a bunch of other caches along the way too. Thanks to all the cache owners who thoughtfully placed and maintain their caches to crank up the volume on our fun meter.
